02/04/2024: Dramatic experience. Table booked for 1.15pm, once seated we order at almost 1.30pm and from then on nothing. The first course arrives at 2.10pm... two precise rolls and the owner (?) apologizing, at first, because the orders (still placed on a sheet of paper...) had been made with the wrong table number (which she had filled in one of their staff anyway, and even if she was, who did they give our stuff to in the meantime?..). From then on the dishes arrive every 15 minutes! Which, trust me, is quite a few for an all-you-can-eat sushi. At a certain point some light gusts were making their very light torn umbrellas that covered us on the external tables fly and rather than weigh them down (or buy suitable ones which would really be the case) they close them and leave us under the direct sun without any ifs or but. Maximum rudeness at the request for explanations and speed in service with the lady who first went to apologize and then with a hard face and irritating pedantry from all the nearby tables who had been waiting for their orders for an hour and she pointed out that instead they were waiting ALONE 45/50 minutes.. we finished eating at 3pm eating for a few minutes in an hour and a half there. The food at least is good but everything else is simply disgraceful. Super not recommended. Evolve and learn some customer care.

31/03/2024: I was here for dinner for the second time and the same errors always recurred. The food is very good, I particularly appreciated the raw ones. It's a shame that the portions of some dishes are smaller than the quantities indicated. The service was truly terrible as we spent an entire evening chasing the waiters always asking for the same dishes which never arrived even after ordering them for the second time. It's really a shame.

20/07/2024: Delicious sandwiches on fresh bread. Very well prepared with good ingredients. I highly recommend.

29/07/2024: Very welcoming place, located 10 minutes walk from Corso delle Province and Corso Italia and a stone's throw from the Oberdan university canteen. I went there a couple of times to study so I didn't have lunch, but I tried a really delicious banana and chocolate smoothie. It is well furnished and well lit, there is also seating outside The only flaw is the quite dirty bathrooms.

22/07/2024: there was a mouse the other time, we reported it to the staff but they didn't do anything. Normally, they should have thrown everyone out, but instead they pretended nothing happened and served food calmly...

12/08/2024: Not a positive experience. Table near the services, bottles of water brought to the table already opened, delays in the dishes. The starter is a mix of cold and congealed meats, the first courses are cooked in abundant cream and have no flavour, the second courses ordered rare and medium rare actually arrived overcooked. Positive note on the wines, excellent value for money on the wine list despite the owner accidentally increasing the prices when presenting us with the bill. Overall insufficient experience... they should totally review the menu and the service, until then I don't feel to return to this restaurant.

29/08/2024: I have gone to eat several times in this place which is neither a trattoria nor a restaurant, it is like a classic sandwich truck. The only thing I have noticed is that the prices have increased disproportionately. A plate with a slice of horse meat and a knot of sausage with a little lettuce and tomato, 15 euros. The boy told me that a knot of sausage costs 5 euros, a slice 5 euros, a bit of lettuce and tomato 5 euros, judge for yourself if the price is honest. The name golden corner seems appropriate to me, they make you pay for everything in gold. I'll go elsewhere

15/08/2024: Every time I come to eat at this fast food restaurant I have a great time, the guys who work there are well organized among themselves in order to follow the customer as best as possible and speed up their work. Huge sandwiches, delicious and full of excellent quality ingredients. Good quality/price ratio. I recommend it for anyone who wants to eat a great sandwich!!!!

17/03/2024: Good pizza, bad service. Order placed at 7pm, they tell me delivery at 9.30pm, I accept. At 9.45pm I phone to get news and they ask me to wait another 20 minutes. At 10.15pm they reply that the pizzas are still in the oven. When I point out that I ordered the pizzas three hours earlier, I am told "and I know but it's Saturday". If you cannot ensure home delivery service to the customer, it would be better not to offer it instead of making fun of people.

31/08/2024: The place is nice, when ordering at the breakfast table for 5 people they get the order wrong 3 times, an established bar cannot happen. ordered an empty croissant they bring it with jam, granita without cream and they bring it with cream, almond granita and coffee they bring it chocolate. Excuse me but what are tablets for??? maybe to play.

18/08/2024: We came across this pub by chance while we were looking for a place to watch the Cagliari - Roma Serie A match while we were on holiday in Catania. They placed us in an outdoor room with a big screen where we were able to watch the match in peace. Efficient and very courteous service. We ordered two portions of chips, a club sandwich and an all good sandwich. Very honest account. We were also allowed to bring our dog with us. We will definitely come back to visit you when we are in Catania again! Thank you

07/05/2024: Gulien is a journey, a painting, an experience. Cuisine goes much further, it touches the senses and shocks them with surprising and explosive flavours. Look for the cuisine of Peppe, a young chef who defines himself as a humble cook. A humility which, however, must be recognized by the many techniques and skills acquired with his studies, including abroad. Gulien is a daydream because it's all about passion and dedication, resilience and ability! This is why I opted for the tasting menus, let yourself be accompanied. Thanks Peppe..

05/05/2024: Special dinner, special place, so memorable. The chef saw me reading the posted menu and came outside to ask if I saw anything good. When I told him my shellfish allergy made it difficult to order at many of Sicily’s best restaurants, he said he had something unique for me — a locally caught fish served grilled on a hot lava stone. It was delicious and a delightful surprise.
