25/03/2026: The service needs rethinking. Only one person takes orders, takes care of the wine, and manages the cash register. The waiters only serve the dishes; any request required waiting for the meter to be free, resulting in long waits, partly due to the slowness of the kitchen. There was a gluten-free option at our table, and they didn't have bread/crackers or dessert. This is unacceptable today. The wine list wasn't up to date; both of the two wines we requested were missing. The food is good quality, but it's not enough to leave a lasting impression and make you want to return.

21/03/2026: We ate wonderfully! The appetizers were excellent, and the grilled octopus was exceptional.

The other courses, served by various diners, weren't bad, but... It lacked that spark to say wow... They can do it...

23/02/2026: This is a historic pizzeria for me, as I've been going there for many years. The problem is that the prices are now too high considering the size of the pizza itself, which decreases over time.

25/02/2026: High-quality products, and a pastry shop, rotisserie, and snack bar are available here. Passing by on your way down the north side of the magnificent Etna volcano, I highly recommend stopping by! The staff are friendly and fast!

08/02/2026: We stopped by by chance after skiing and had arancini, cannoli, and a mouth-watering spinach-filled focaccia!!! We loved them so much we came back today for lunch and to grab some takeout for our flight home!! We'll be everyone's envy! Highly recommended, and the owner is SO AWESOME! He always treated us so well, even offering us some sweets ♥️

30/09/2025: The location is stunning. We booked a sea-view room and were given one overlooking the terrace below and the café's roof, which also had a sea view. The room was fine, as was the cleaning. A bit dated, but overall it wasn't too bad. The staff was very friendly. The beach was lovely and not overcrowded; good service: beach chairs, umbrellas, towels... It did get a bit busier and noisier on the weekend. An inconvenience we expressed our frustration about was resolved very professionally and appropriately. We would happily recommend the hotel.

15/08/2025: Booked two superior partial sea view two months before trip since it is renovated rooms but I only got one as they were fully booked !!, so why then people book and pay in advance !!!, however, the buildings back to 90s and need to be renovated completly. You should expect the housekeeping staff enter the room anytime even if the privacy sign is there!! The breakfast is ordinary and the staff are not attentive and need to be organised.

14/12/2025: Ever since I tried their pizza, I can't live without it. It's really good, they're precise and punctual, and the owners are very professional and kind. Besides the pizza, I also recommend their sandwiches, they're really tasty. Everything is top-notch! 5 stars from me!

30/09/2025: And here I am, a couple of days later, reviewing Cacio & Mollica. Location: 4/5 Compact and tidy; the counter is clean and well-lit. It's pleasant to watch the pizza chef as he rolls out the dough, adds the toppings, and bakes. Menu: 5/5 A wide variety of classics and creative options. I ordered the Capricciosa: light dough and perfectly cooked. Next time I'll try the burgers, which look truly delicious. Service: 5/5 The order was taken courteously; no mistakes (there were more than ten of us with different orders) and practically no wait, despite it being a Saturday night. Bill: 4/5 I spent €8.50 for a pizza and a drink. Considering the quality of the dough and toppings, the price is fair.

31/12/2025: I'm a regular customer, having purchased from the butcher, deli, produce, and other departments for many years! Quality and value set them apart from other supermarkets. I'm personally knowledgeable. Highly recommended...

24/07/2025: Rude staff, in my experience with a cutlet prepared by them I broke a tooth, prices that do not correspond to what you are interested in, and when you raise the issue as in the case of the broken tooth they laugh in your face I am referring to the supermarket on Via Curia and the foreigner in the female butcher's shop and as you will well understand a man must resign himself because then defenseless women are considered weak in the case of the broken tooth, and rude at the checkout 🤮🤮 I have never experienced worse than this, shame on you!!!!!

08/10/2025: We have been in Italy for five weeks on the road dining out and this is by far the best restaurant experience we have had. Do not miss dining here if you are in the area. The ambience, service, menu and food quality is simply brilliant. In addition the welcoming staff were amazing in accommodating our poor Italian language. I give Piva’s 10 stars!!

03/04/2026: The horse meat was spectacular and the price was very good. The place isn't anything special, but it's definitely worth trying. I went once on a recommendation and ended up going back the next day.

22/02/2026: The pizza was good. However, I would point out the uncontrolled screaming of kids in the dining room. The bathroom door was always open for kids. No warnings were issued for the constant disturbance. We couldn't wait to leave. I strongly advise against staying on these occasions.
