31/05/2025: È da molti anni che conosciamo il Sig. Mario e la famiglia Bonaccorso. Al solito il pranzo è stato all'altezza delle aspettative dagli antipasti, ai 2 primi (sedani al ragù di vitello con finocchietto selvatico e tortellini ai funghi porcini conditi con speck e nocciola) al secondo e al dolce. Consigliato.

20/04/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant for the first time over Easter. We were welcomed impeccably. We ate very well with genuine, excellent quality products. All 10 people at the table enjoyed it. We thank you so much for the welcome and kindness given to us.

13/05/2025: I have often gone to Corallo in previous years...but the last time I was a bit disappointed. Before with the fixed menu you were already full at the end of ten or so well-cooked appetizers, now with the increase in price paradoxically there has been a decrease in the courses and perhaps in the quality. Two plates of appetizers with a "taste" of everything, a first and a second course to choose from 3 types of dishes. Of course the fish was good...but with the memory I had of some time ago there is no comparison. Helpful and friendly staff, the place furnished in a modern style...with paper placemats in the style of fast food.

21/04/2025: Excellent restaurant where I ate fish-based starters from raw to fried ones and two types of pasta. All good. The only thing I would change is the quality of the rice which I didn't like. It could be a personal need that doesn't bother others.

28/04/2025: Of the pizzas we tried in Sicily, these were the best. Nice treatment and huge portion. If you want to eat well, you have to eat on the chin. There was also a gluten-free option.

30/04/2025: Local located in the historic center of Catania. Excellent pizza, light and digestible dough. The guy who served us was very friendly. We booked with the fork and the promo was applied correctly. Recommended.

26/05/2025: The hall is beautiful, bright and large. The setup for the confirmation was excellent. Small parking lot but enough for about ten cars. Unfortunately it is not asphalted and therefore difficult to use with heels. Not very well cared for with trees with hanging branches that prevent walking among the cars.

In particular, I found the attitude of the owner's son unprofessional and decidedly distant from the idea of ​​hospitality that a customer would expect. A hasty way of acting, not very courteous and with little attention towards those in front of you, which inevitably made the atmosphere unpleasant. It's a shame, because with a little more care and attention it would have taken very little to offer a very different experience.

28/04/2025: Good desserts, bad coffee and absolutely disgusting service. Disgusting and unpleasant guy. I don't think I've ever been to a worse establishment. Edit: I do not recommend.👎 I have already written one review and unfortunately I have to respond to their very strange reaction. First of all, when we arrived, no one answered our greeting, the staff frowned, did not respond to questions and shoved the food into our hands on a napkin. They did not inform us at all that the cafe was unstaffed! The same thing happened the day before - so it was not a one-time issue. The staff is very unpleasant and does not communicate even when we spoke Italian or English. It is nice that their hostile attitude towards tourists is immediately visible. You should avoid this cafe.👎

11/05/2025: Not to recommend, there are loads of good places where to eat better spending way less in Catania. It is probably oriented to tourists. As a local I really didn’t appreciate it. When a “sommelier” tells you that he doesn’t sell bottles under 24€ … while he’s working in place that sells mostly meatballs… it sounds already funny. Also the bottle he brought us was definitely overpriced for what it was. We ordered chicken meatballs, beef and vegetarian. The only ones acceptable were the chicken ones, while the vegetarian options was more a selection of croquettes (all breaded) and the beef meatballs didn’t taste good nor fresh at all. Not any kind of sides served with the meatballs and last but not least the bill was High, it’s not a good experience sorry.

01/05/2025: Hmm maybe we were in the wrong one? Mixed meat - schnitzel with fries (which had mud inside), chewing the edges of the bread as a "starter" only with oil (upon request)....OK maybe you had a bad day... culinary low point

It's a shame that they then make you sit in the most neglected room in the back with paper placemats and pass in front of the toilets where the door that hides the antechamber is missing and the door of which is inside the women's bathroom. Poorly maintained bathroom. We ordered a tasting of appetizers, all served in 15 minutes. Everything cooked first and reheated at the moment. We didn't dare order anything else. Both disappointed. We won't be returning
