17/11/2025: Amazing night out here, Francesco was amazing along with his staff, managed to get the Scotland game on for us, and although we lost we still had a great night! Cocktails were amazing and very fairly priced, food going out looked out of this world as well! Great mix of friendly locals and tourists! A real hidden gem in the beautiful Cefalù!

16/04/2026: Pizza reviews, not restaurants. Let's start with the positives. The dough was dry, well-leavened, and well-cooked, and easily digestible. The toppings, however, were less impressive; the Norma pizza was a bit disappointing; the diced eggplant, under-fried, and tasteless, was not good at all. The tomato puree was of poor quality. The white pizza with mortadella and pistachio cream was also uninspiring. Given the high prices, I suggest improving the quality of the ingredients and sticking to traditional recipes.

02/04/2026: The food was excellent and truly unique—refined Italian cuisine that you don’t find everywhere. Each dish is beautifully presented, reflecting the chef’s creativity and attention to detail, with a quality comparable to a top French restaurant, yet at a very reasonable price. The chef also offers his own special wine, which I really enjoyed. Although there was no kids’ menu or standard salads, he kindly prepared a delicious pasta ragù for the children and a fresh, customized salad for me.

31/03/2026: A very elegant restaurant, located on an alley in the center of Riposto. The atmosphere is formal, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The ingredients are carefully selected and prepared with exceptional, unconventional care. The wine list, both national and international, is extensive, as is the selection of spirits. Prices are reasonable. Credit cards are accepted, and it's recommended for those looking to invest in a unique menu. Reservations are recommended.

01/04/2026: Very kind, friendly, clean. Delicious food with adequate portions. Quick service and the option to order something off the menu. Highly recommend. The only thing I gave the "ambience" rating 4 stars was the plaster on one section of the wall that absolutely needs to be redone. Otherwise, everything was fine!

28/03/2026: Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The bottled water we received appeared to contain impurities/bacteria, which we only noticed after being served and already drinking from it — something that is completely unacceptable. As for the food, the quality was very poor. The seafood pasta (with shrimp and clams) made me feel sick almost immediately after eating it. It tasted unpleasant and far from fresh. The pizza was burnt, and the grilled sea bream was served without any side dish at all, which was unexpected and underwhelming. Overall, the experience was disappointing both in terms of food quality and hygiene standards. I would not recommend this place.

07/12/2025: PortoMatto in Avola was a delightful discovery. I ordered a first course, a truly delicious risotto: well-creamed, flavorful, but never heavy. The restaurant is elegant, with attention to detail, and the background music is not too loud and very pleasant, allowing for a peaceful conversation. Special praise goes to the table service: professional, attentive, but never intrusive. I'd especially like to highlight the kindness and empathy of the waiter, Giovanni, who really worked hard to find a solution for my wife's particularly restricted diet, trying to accommodate her in every way possible. In the end, she didn't order anything, but his face showed genuine disappointment, a sign of genuine care for the customer. Overall, a very positive experience: highly recommended.

03/04/2026: Spectacular seafood dishes, the quality is excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Truly delicious food, with a very competitive price/quality ratio. This restaurant is a must-try at least once in Messina.

24/10/2025: Super delicious arancini! We tried all four flavors available, and it's really hard to rank them from best to worst because they were all delicious. Perfectly crispy breading, flavorful and fragrant fillings. They cost €2.50 each, except for the squid ink one, which costs €4. They're quite large, and four arancini will fill two people. I highly recommend them, and I hope to return.

15/10/2025: Excellent street food spot, super central, delicious food, and super cheap: 4 arancini and 2 craft beers, €17. The lady at the counter is super nice and friendly... Highly recommended.
