19/10/2025: It looks like a quiet restaurant, but it's actually a local favorite with a constant stream of people. Couscous and pistachio pasta! These dishes, encountered early in our trip, felt like appetizers to truly enjoy Sicilian cuisine on our future trips. You can fully experience the essence of local ingredients, so if you're nearby, give them a try. ^^

26/11/2025: We went to this little place near Piazza Politeama with friends. It was a pleasant surprise. The pizza was excellent, and the appetizer was delicious. The waiters were friendly and professional. I recommend it, especially since it's away from the chaos of the city center. I'll be back.

I tried the seafood couscous, flavorful and well-balanced, and the Sicilian-style rabbit, tender and rich in flavor. Desserts, such as cassata, are the perfect ending to a truly satisfying dinner. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes and ingredients. An excellent choice for those who love Sicilian cuisine prepared with passion and fresh ingredients.

02/08/2025: We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our wedding. From the first visit, the farmhouse won us over with its authentic charm, spaces designed down to the smallest detail, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts us at ease. Every corner speaks of passion and dedication. But what makes this place truly special is the attention with which each guest is welcomed and pampered. A special thanks goes to the director, Francesco, who with great professionalism and availability guided us through every phase of the organization, turning our every dream into reality. Thanks to him, we felt at ease and confident that we were in good hands from the very first moment. A heartfelt thanks also goes to the maitre d', Giusy, who with her kindness, precision, and attentive eye oversaw every moment of the day, from the impeccable table settings to the perfect management of service times. Her presence truly made the difference, allowing us to experience our special day without a care in the world. Our guests were thrilled with both the high quality of the food and the service, always smiling and punctual. Many have told us they've rarely attended such a thoughtful and organized wedding, and much of the credit goes to the entire staff at this wonderful farmhouse. Thank you for giving us a memory we'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and human warmth, I can't recommend this farmhouse highly enough: it will be the perfect setting for your special event.

23/10/2025: Rina and Gaetano are wonderful people, along with their daughter, who helps in the kitchen and makes a huge contribution to this business, which started purely by chance, thanks to a location highlighted on the map by a German tourist. A wonderful place, it's practically like coming to your aunt/grandmother's house, who welcomes you warmly and offers you good, wholesome food, prepared with love—I can't explain it any other way. Not only do they use produce from their garden, but they also put in a lot of work and dedication, especially considering that farmers no longer enjoy the benefits they once did, and it's a profession that's slowly disappearing. You arrive at their house, there's even space to park your car, and you find yourself in a beautiful, pristine setting. Next door, you can visit their goats, chickens, rabbits, and many other pets. If you're traveling with children, they'll be delighted. We adults were amazed, let alone the kids. The dining room is simple, but what matters is the company and the good food. Inside the dining room, there are six tables. Both times we came, there were other diners, and the atmosphere created a welcoming atmosphere, where we chatted and even joked. Rina offers exquisite appetizers: we tried olives in oil from her garden, delicious dried tomatoes, caponata, scacciate with potatoes and very fresh ricotta from their own production, or scacciata with spinach and ricotta, delicious bread, fresh ricotta cheese served on the side, and focaccia with their own tomatoes. What can I say, everything was perfect. All the food was prepared that day, starting with the bread dough, scacciate, and ending with delicious cannoli made on the spot. I'll just say that the first time we came, we said we wanted to try the coponata, and Rina promised to make it. Imagine the surprise when we came the second time! 💚 For our first course, Rina had rolled out the ravioli dough just beforehand, so everything was made to order, with their delicious tomato sauce. We were also lucky enough to try the rabbit stew. The meat was tender and flavorful. It's worth going and having this unforgettable experience; you won't regret it. You can also order takeout, just let us know in advance. Thanks again for everything, and see you next time.

19/10/2025: Mrs. Rina welcomed us warmly and served simple, authentic food. We felt right at home. The ricotta served at the table was still warm. The tomatoes were delicious. Everything was delicious. It was like going to eat at a loving aunt's house... Highly recommended!!!

01/12/2025: We just had dinner at this restaurant. What a lovely discovery! The dishes are of impeccable quality and delicious!! We tried spaghetti with clams and a caponata—a real treat!! Fresh grilled squid and an octopus and potato salad were all delicious, and the olive oil was divine! The waiter was very friendly and efficient! And what can I say about the excellent value for money!!! Half the price of what we pay here on the French Riviera!! A big thank you to the whole team! I definitely plan to go back before I leave Palermo!!!

15/10/2025: Stopped by here for some lunch, I really fancied some zuppa but they'd nothing vegan on the menu, so they made some especially for me. It was absolutely delicious! My husband was more than happy with his pasta dish and adored the Siciliana cake he had with his coffee. It all tasted like the most amazing home-cooking, the service was really friendly and the place had a really nice atmosphere.

I was on holiday passing through Laino and came across this bistro out of curiosity after reading the many positive reviews, and I have to admit, they were all absolutely right. The place is beautiful, the food is divine, especially the pizza, which is among the best I've ever had, and the service is fast and attentive. What can I say... full marks!
