10/03/2026: Our overall experience was 3/5. The pizza itself was 5/5 and very tasty. The service left something to be desired. We ordered dessert twice. When we only received one dessert (with two spoons), we were told that they were out of apple crumble (at 8:30 pm). No alternative was offered. A bit odd. Furthermore, there was a very strong smell that evening – we couldn't tell if it was truffles or sweat. Still, strange.

10/03/2026: We had a pleasure to be guests of this beautiful restaurant on our quick break...All we can say...food was a masterpiece...excellent food quality...best pizza ever! We've been served by very cool waiter Giuseppe...he was very professional but most importantly He made our visit very relaxed, looked after us all the time and we enjoyed every moment of the evening there. Thank you very much for everything!

08/04/2026: Whole family got SEVERE food poisoning. Highly recommend not going here!!! BLUE ricotta, the meat was WAY off. I spent 48 hours in the worst pain of my life throwing up from both ends. Same goes for my entire family. STAY AWAY!! The worst part is there are several other reviews reporting food poisoning. The restaurants replied to my review saying “there are no reports”. These are foul lies. This restaurant needs to be shut down. Attached photo of my pants soiled.

08/04/2026: Got severe food poisoning here. There was blue ricotta on our pizza and the sausage was definitely off. Violently sick for 48 hours.

14/04/2026: On the recommendation of the B&B where we were staying, we booked a 5:00 PM dinner for two, one of whom was celiac. Despite the short notice, they were able to serve us excellent dishes, including gluten-free options, minimizing the difference between the dishes. The portions might be considered small, but given the complexity of the preparations and flavors, they're considered adequate. Everything was more than excellent, including the recommended wine.

The dough is truly well-made: soft, light, and pleasantly firm, without being too thin. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste it right away with the first bite: fresh, carefully selected, and with well-balanced flavors. The Rianella pizza has a harmonious flavor, not as salty as other pizzas. Another strong point is their punctuality: the delivery arrived at the scheduled time, super punctual (on a Friday evening). Highly recommended for those looking for quality, flavor, and impeccable service!

01/12/2025: Tucked in a corner away from touristy streets this is an excellent spot to relax, enjoy food and drinks. Very friendly service and great atmosphere. We stopped by at this bar for wine on the last night in Sicily and had a great time. Great selection of wine along with playful music. Server also took requests to play music of our choice. Highly recommend this place for a good time in Ortigia.

And now I don’t need to look further - kind people (my Italian is not great) & what turned it to be the freshest brightest tasting ricotta cannolo so far- five stars just for that!
