27/06/2025: Our first night in Catania started in this extremely atmospheric restaurant. With an incredibly tasty salad with delicate flavors, a burger that you didn't want to finish and a pasta dish that even if you don't eat eggplant you will lick the plate!!! Nice service, nice music, nice aesthetics!!!

17/06/2025: According to my wife, the best parmigiana di melanzana with mint of her life. My own choice, pasta alla norma, was also of high quality.

30/06/2025: Above the town of Chiaramonte Gulfi, a hotel that stands on an old station, active in the early twentieth century. Clean room and comfortable bed, bathroom and air conditioning a bit old. I found the bathroom with a bathtub and not a shower. In the restaurant you eat well, you must try the specialties of Chiaramonte. The exteriors are well-kept and there is also a beautiful swimming pool that can be used on the hottest days of summer. Strategic location and adequate parking. Friendly and kind staff. We had a good time.

06/07/2025: We were there today with our 2-year-old. The chef made the little one a paper frog and gave him a small pizza and dessert for free. The food is incredibly good. The last time I had such good fish soup was 24 years ago in Portugal. We can highly recommend the extremely friendly hospitality and the great food. Best wishes from Leipzig.

18/06/2025: We were there tonight and I have to say that I haven't eaten such good sushi in years. Renovated and very nice location, kind and attentive waiters, vast menu and very good fish for an all you can eat. The icing on the cake were the two glasses of wine offered by the owner and a small appetizer that was really delicious. We will definitely be back. Everything was excellent and congratulations to the new management.

29/03/2025: I love this bar! Danny, the owner, makes everyone feel welcome and truly is the best bar owner I've met. English speaking and amazing cocktails. Only place in Sicily providing Blue Moon on tap and Miller in the cooler. Food is also 10/10 too! I HIGHLY recommend!

23/03/2025: The first proper old fashioned I’ve had in Sicily. Thankfully the staff speaks English. Though it’s a Sunday, it appears they have life entertainment. The bartender Daniel mentioned other events hosted here.

01/07/2025: We have eaten here almost EVERY NIGHT of our stay in Syracuse. Friendly staff and great food that is fresh. The ordering process can be a little overwhelming and confusing, but if you mess up just go back again and try again, you can't go wrong really. The Tartare is amazing, and the sushi is great too. My new wife and I love it here!

21/07/2025: We are practically in San Vito one week every summer, and go to Bianconiglio min once, preferably twice. Love the food (yes, it is meat, lots of other good fish places if that is what you crave), I love the wines, my son’s love the gin selection 🤣 And Michele and his team just creates a fantastic experience

There were 5 of us, two plates of lemon mussels (they were two appetizers, but the quantity was like a second course 🔝) a mixed fried fish, a grilled fish, a mixed fried calamari and shrimp, mixed salad, two plates of chips, house white wine, 3 bottles of water, three Sicilian cannoli, a cassata and a dessert from the chef. Coffee €113.00. Friendly staff. Very characteristic place. We really had a great time. Thank you

The fish was very fresh, cooked with great care and respect for tradition. The sarde a beccafico, in particular, were the best I have ever eaten in my life: a perfect balance of flavors, delicate but intense, simply unforgettable. The service was equally exceptional: kindness, cordiality and a warm welcome that made us feel at home. You can feel the authentic passion of the family that runs the restaurant, and the attention to detail makes the experience even more special. A genuine, sincere place, where good food and Sicilian hospitality meet in a perfect way. Highly recommended!

You can try all kinds of gluten-free desserts, including the typical cannoli and arancine. We had a mini calzone and a sliced ​​pizza. We also took four arancine with ragù to eat later. There are two small tables for eating outside. There's no table service, so you have to buy what you want there, pay for it, and then sit outside.

22/06/2025: Roast meat in all its variations, veal, mutton, chicken, you will not eat anything so good. The "Florentine" rib eye is unsurpassed, as are the lemon leaf skewers. Trust Onofrio and you will not be disappointed. I brought my friends here and some have chosen it almost as their home. Rustic and spartan place with the best meat in the area and, perhaps, on the Ionian coast. If I want meat I come here and in front of the counter I choose what to have cooked expertly guided by the owner. For me Smiroldo number one.
