20/09/2025: Where do I begin? Pure horror from top to bottom. (We haven't even gotten our food yet.) Two full moons had already passed before we finally got a menu. The slick-faced waiter gave us a reproachful look when we didn't want to order ANY wine. When we finally got a menu and were shocked to discover that there were no meat-free dishes, I decided, with a heavy conscience, to order two side dishes (again, with a reproachful look from the waiter). I've been waiting for my two side dishes for 45 minutes now 🤘 The rest is up in the air. PS: The food arrived after we'd already made our way to the restroom a few times, which was nicer than the ambiance in the entire restaurant. The side dish simply arrived after the main course, or rather, one of the side dishes never actually made its way out of the kitchen!! The burger was okay. My plea to everyone: if your stomachs are already rumbling and you have a hungry lady with you, I would advise against visiting this place. Otherwise, it's fine. But the city is beautiful, and there are plenty of other good restaurants 😉

24/11/2025: Great find! Spacious restaurant with a terrace and air-conditioned interior. A varied and extensive menu, featuring fresh pasta and homemade desserts. A real winner! And the price is reasonable too!

17/10/2025: I don't think I've ever written a bad review. Four people in the restaurant, the waiter, for whatever reason, was disinterested, curt, and unfriendly. A shame. The advertised traditional salad actually consisted of tomatoes. Soggy Sicilian pasta with frozen shrimp (2 shells). The plate was beautifully presented. I can't recommend the restaurant in any way. However, it also has a lot of good reviews. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

06/10/2025: Gilberto's desserts are guaranteed to tempt you! The hospitality, food, and heavenly setting justify the distance from the port, which is also compensated by the 5-star shuttle service. Maria Tindara gets top marks!

28/09/2025: We just had a unique weekend! As soon as we arrived on Vulcano, we rented the legendary Mehari from Paolo and immediately headed to our peaceful oasis on Vulcano Piano! Maria Tindara is the most authentic place you can find on Vulcano! It's outside the port, true, but it's perfectly located halfway between Gelso and the port! The dinner was spectacular, an explosion of flavors! Save room for the desserts because they are incredible and definitely made with love! Gilberto was attentive to our every need, even recommending a truly unique spot with a breathtaking view of the islands and the crater rim to your left—a spot that rivals the climb up the crater the day before, and definitely less tiring! The rooms are simple and authentic, and in the evening you're only accompanied by the chirping of the cicadas! We'll always come back!

18/09/2025: I was supposed to go to a restaurant but something tempted us to stop here and that's it, super nice people, smiling and the food is amazing, I ate horse meat in a pita with cheese and toppings, the portion is like for an army, you get a delicious piece of meat, so much that you won't be able to finish it and on top of that it's mega good, I recommend it without hesitation :)

20/11/2025: Excellent quality of both dough and ingredients, a very soft crust, plenty of delicious quality toppings, perfectly cooked, one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life, coming from someone who isn't a pizza lover, and it's also very light and easily digestible. Another 1000 points in your favor is the option of lactose-free mozzarella, which almost no one has. My heartfelt congratulations!

30/10/2025: Top location for a trattoria, clean, tidy and welcoming in the summer they have a spectacular terrace ... Excellent service, excellent food with quality ingredients ... then for those who are passionate about wine it is the ideal place they have a good wine list .. highly recommended

26/10/2025: My first experience at this restaurant, recommended by a friend. What can I say? Comfortable atmosphere, fast service, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. To top it all off, the food was impeccably presented and of a high standard; the owner even came out to personally carve a delicious and tender Florentine steak. The price was fair for the quality of the food and what we ate. I'll definitely be back.

22/09/2025: Very good sharing platters (cold meats, cheeses, grilled vegetables, focaccia, etc.). Very friendly but busy waiters (very busy in the evening). 16 euro set menu, drink included.

09/10/2025: Excellent food, truly delicious, refined cuisine with unique dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Excellent wine list. If you're in the Trapani area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant in Paceco. It's a shame the service was so sloppy. They excused themselves by saying they were having a staffing emergency. However, the kindness never wavered.
