13/03/2025: Very pleasant surprise at the end of the holiday. My husband and I went in for a coffee...we left with lunch and dinner to take away!!! Starting from the kindness and availability of all the staff, the real gem is the quality of the product, sweet and savory. Absolutely not to be missed in this corner of paradise in Palermo

30/03/2025: Awful service, weird ambiance (just some random tables in an alley with no actual restaurant), sub-par food, and up-charges for gluten free items that were not listed on the menu or disclosed by the waiter (€3/item). The appetizer was cold even though they said it took a long time since they used fresh oil to fry them (they were obviously not freshly fried as they were cold). Pesto pasta and carbonara pasta took more than an hour to make even with an empty “restaurant” (there was only 1 other table occupied with 2 people). Would not recommend, was our least favorite meal of our 1 week trip in Palermo.

26/03/2025: We were there for a graduation party, very characteristic environment and Palermo food with many small tastings, we will return soon on other occasions.

07/03/2025: Entering Casa Macè means immersing yourself in a happy island, a place where the daily routine dissolves and you are welcomed with warmth and kindness. The atmosphere is enchanting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a break from your busy life. A strong point of the venue is certainly the DJ service, which offers particular attention to detail and availability that makes every customer feel special. I highly recommend visiting the place on Fridays, when you can taste some of its most popular specialties. If you are looking for a place to spend quality time, Casa Macè is the perfect choice. I can't wait to return!

29/03/2025: I am going through a rough time in my life. Lost my father lost my job for, federal cuts. Lost one if my bunnies and also got in a car wreck my fault. I came into this restaurant they where so kind. It just made things seem better. The food is delicious and they went out if their way to make sure I had what I needed.

26/12/2024: Dopo aver letto le molteplici recensioni positive ed aver prenotato con giorni di anticipo, mi sarei aspettato di più sinceramente. Non metto in dubbio la qualità del cibo e la bontà delle pietanze, forse ho solo sbagliato scelta (spaghetti alla viccitana).

21/10/2024: The restaurant is very small, it is located in the center of Via Roma which is the main street of the island, the cuisine is typical of Lampedusa, everything is very good, fair prices.

31/03/2025: Really good brioche, ice cream and granita. The croissants for breakfast are frozen and inedible. The young waiter who served us the first day was very kind and helpful, but the waiter the second time was lazy and didn't understand the questions we asked him. Too bad but after the last service we will never go back.

22/02/2025: We went to Sagrè and had a truly refined culinary experience. We chose the four-course tasting menu, and each dish was a small masterpiece, with attention to the smallest details and full of well-balanced flavours. From the beginning we were pampered: the bread with homemade oil and the welcome from the chef immediately won us over. The service was impeccable, with attentive and professional staff who made the evening even more pleasant. I also really appreciated the small attentions, such as the basket for the bag - a detail that I always find very elegant - and a particular stopper for the wine which facilitated service, something I had never seen before and which I find truly brilliant! We had high expectations and feared a very high bill, but instead the price was absolutely adequate for the quality and experience offered. A restaurant to absolutely try for those looking for refined cuisine and an elegant atmosphere in Catania.

21/02/2025: Siamo stati da Sagrè e abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza culinaria davvero raffinata. Abbiamo scelto il menu degustazione di quattro portate, e ogni piatto era un piccolo capolavoro, curato nei minimi dettagli e ricco di sapori ben equilibrati. Sin dall’inizio siamo stati coccolati: il pane con olio fatto in casa e il benvenuto dello chef ci hanno subito conquistati. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con uno staff attento e professionale che ha reso la serata ancora più piacevole. Avevamo aspettative alte e temevamo un conto molto salato, invece il prezzo è stato assolutamente adeguato alla qualità e all’esperienza offerta. Un ristorante da provare assolutamente per chi cerca cucina ricercata e un’atmosfera elegante a Catania.

22/12/2024: Popped in for a quick lunch and ordered the same old boring margarita pizza and spaghetti pomodoro. Wow. Their sauce was among the best we had on our whole trip! Super convenient, across the street form a few hotels. Definitely going back.
