Al Caffe' In Catania

Pleasant surprise, recommended, very good granita, I would pay more attention to the details of the environment.

They had a smaller brioche granita. We ordered pistachio, and they offered us almond, both delicious. We also had a mixed vegetable dish and an arancino. Everything was very good, at a good price, and we received excellent service.

The best ginseng in Catania and beyond! The entire breakfast was delicious. Favorites: pistachio and toasted almond granita.

Excellent quality, from sweet to savory! Punte di Diamante Granitas and Ciopolline... among the best, if not the best, in all of Catania. Another aspect that makes the difference is the staff: professional, kind, and helpful!

My partner and I discovered this café by chance. We were very well received, the server was attentive, quick and smiling. These were the best granitas I ate on my road trip in Sicily. We had 2 granitas, one with lemon and one with peach, they were excellent. The brioche was also very good. The server brought us two other granitas to taste (for free), even though we hadn't asked: melon and strawberry. If you love melon, you'll fall for this melon granita, it really feels like eating it. In short, if you stay in Catania, go to this café!

I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews, but when something deserves a compliment, it's worth it! Aside from the kindness and smiles, which are always a great reason to return, I've tried a little bit of everything at Bar Al Caffè. It's always impeccable, but there's one incredible thing I recommend you try, as a true Sicilian: the ARANCINO al ragù, the best I've ever had. Kudos to all the staff.

Amazing granita, incredible quality of ingredients. Plus, it's one of the only places that also serves cream. I wish I could have posted a better photo, but I was so ecstatic I didn't get around to it.

I wanted to try it several times before leaving a review. A small, family-friendly place that makes you feel at home. The granita is delicious; I don't want to go too far, but it's probably the best I've ever had. Consider that I work next door to a well-known pastry shop in the Etna area, but I preferred to go down to Ognina just to try theirs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
