23/03/2025: We ended up there on the recommendation of several guides and we were not disappointed. The pizza was delicious, the service was perfect, and the concentration and intensity of pistachios was incredible. The fries with pistachio cream and burrata were a revelation. The pizza with spicy salami and onion and the inspired ala norma sauce with eggplant were absolute culinary revelations. On a Friday evening, the place filled up quickly, and the service was perfect. The wine fridge also caught our attention.

15/04/2025: This place is fantastic! Around 20 beers on tap, covering a wide range of styles, all (I believe) brewed on-site. I particularly enjoyed the saison and the black IPA! There was also a great selection of spirits and cocktails available. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place just had a nice, chilled vibe. If you like good beer this place is a must-visit.

14/03/2025: Asian restaurants in Italy are rare. It was delicious here yesterday. The portions are decently sized, it's well seasoned and "picant" means "picant". We were alone in the restaurant. The main revenue is generated from delivery services. We will eat there again.

23/02/2025: It is the oldest Chinese restaurant in Catania. I returned to this place after over thirty years, the food is decent, the place inside is very characteristic, typical Chinese with original decorations. A recommended experience.

19/04/2025: Beautiful trattoria where time seems to have stopped, genuine flavours, simple dishes cooked with skill, good raw materials, authentic durum wheat bread, no music or television in the background. In short, the lunch you would like to have, with the traditional taste you expect and find yourself with pleasure in a peaceful environment. Last time I had octopus salad and mixed grilled fish, with complimentary delicious homemade bruschetta, all delicious. Truly attentive service and with a touch of reserved kindness, also from another era. If I lived in Catania I would be a regular.

08/04/2025: Consigliato da un siciliano doc del luogo, siamo venuti per pranzo con l'idea di fare uno spuntino. In realtà le pietanze di una volta sono caratterizzate da un'abbondanza super che con fatica siamo riusciti a finire. Melanzane alla parmigiana, caponata e trofie lonzino e pistacchio tutte enormi e buone. Se volete apprezzare la tradizionale cucina siciliana è qui che potete passare! Il Gabibbo è competente in fatto di cucina.

04/04/2025: Well-prepared pasta can only be eaten in Italy. In this restaurant we take it to the next level. Ordered Linguine. Perfect. There are many other options on the menu, but if you don't know the names, it can be scary, but it's worth the risk. I recommend.

12/04/2025: The staff was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the food was okay — too salty for my taste (notably the lemon fish). The value for money is poor; it's expensive for the quantity and the taste. I had a plate of anchovy pasta (€14) and a lemon fish dish (€20). I thought the grilled vegetables served with the fish were included, but they were charged separately (€6). We had a misunderstanding, the staff kindly gaves me explanation. I was also charged €4 for tap water and €2.50 for a basket of bread. I guess that how it works in Italy but it all adds up quickly.

05/03/2025: Nice restaurant, really excellent raw materials. Among the appetizers, the parmigiana was the one that most impressed me, among the best I have ever eaten. The seared tuna and cod are also very good. Prices a little high, but quality/price, for being in Taormina, is okay. I will be back to try the meat dishes.

09/02/2025: Locale carino , purtroppo non ho trovato nessuna attenzione per le persone che hanno allergie alimentari , l’antipasto condiviso non mi ha dato la possibilità di assaggiare nulla perché il cuoco non aveva certezza degli ingredienti . Servizio appena sufficiente . Pulizia discreta . Non lo consiglio a chi ha intolleranze alimentari e non è per celiaci.
