20/06/2025: A great bar with very nice staff. Both nights we were called in there was live jazz which sounded great! Highly recommend it for some good vibes and a fun time

14/04/2025: Unbelievable: We were there on the Monday before Easter and just wanted to have a quick drink before dinner. We were convinced by the student service and the owner to stay - and were rewarded with a free buffet of pasta, pizza, antipasti and many other delicacies. Every Monday, we were told, especially for students who have little money available. It was great, and of course we tried to pay for the meal with a tip. But three people were fed. 20 euros is hardly enough. People were indignant and resistance had to be overcome in order to show their gratitude. Especially since the drink prices are a laugh and there was also live music. I've actually never experienced anything like that. Crazy. Thank you.

04/08/2025: The place is super cute, the ingredients are out of this world! The caponata is top notch, the hummus is incredible, I've never tasted anything so tasty! It's like a kind of buckwheat and lentil stick, super!! The burgers are also phenomenal! Highly recommended and of good quality, fair price, and really friendly staff. If you happen to pass by Ortigia, dine there, you won't regret it, guaranteed!!!

02/09/2025: EN Truly delicious pizzas, with special, well-balanced ingredients. The other menu items, like the salads, are equally excellent. Generous portions, fair prices, a lovely terrace setting, and fast, helpful service. This is the third time I've been here with my girlfriend, and we've always had a great time. Highly recommended. 17/07/2025: Today I found myself in San Vito Lo Capo... I got an ice cream at the counter with my friends and we sat at the tables outside when at a certain point an employee comes and kicks us out because we hadn't ordered with him.

17/07/2025: After searching online for a place to dine that felt as authentic as possible, serving traditional cuisine, we chose this one. And our expectations were more than confirmed! Mr. Paolo's welcome was impeccable and always attentive, without ever being intrusive. His wife's cooking is more memorable than a souvenir. You'll see why from the photos! Highly recommended, but go on an empty stomach!

24/08/2025: Terrible experience. I ordered a Margherita pizza with eggplant and fries. The pizza was full of oil, and I could smell the aftertaste of unaltered oil. The fries and eggplant tasted terrible. I only ate half of it because I paid for it! The table service girl was quite polite! The rest was awful.

10/08/2025: We wanted to try this pizzeria because we were told they had gluten-free bases, and they did! We called and were told we could have them like any other pizza on the menu. We ordered takeout, and the delivery was super punctual even though it was a Sunday! The gluten-free base was delicious, perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the toppings were generous and fresh for every pizza! We're completely satisfied, and will definitely order again!

29/03/2025: Ho trovato il mio bicchiere sporco di rossetto e maleodorante... può capitare? Certo! Peccato però che anche tutti i restanti bicchieri del tavolo puzzavano di odori diversi e anche le stoviglie erano sporche. Il cibo non è stato di mio gradimento (polled pork) in quanto l'unica cosa che si apprezzava del piatto era il peperoncino.

24/08/2025: La Varcuzza in Donnalucata was a pleasant surprise: I'd only known it as a restaurant, but the pizza is truly superb! Light dough, quality ingredients, and meticulous attention to detail. A place that's definitely worth a visit as a pizzeria, too.

22/08/2025: Welcoming place, we ordered two delicious pizzas, very good dough and ingredients, the wait wasn't long at all and the staff was truly professional, a rare find these days. I don't understand the negative reviews, it almost seems like we ate at two different restaurants.

03/08/2025: First-rate hospitality. Delicious food. I'm celiac, so gluten-free pizza tastes like regular pizza. Never had that happen before. We had dinner there four nights in a row.

08/07/2025: Peruvian food adapted to San Vito lo Capo. Anyone familiar with Peruvian food will be disappointed. The restaurant is fine, but far from Peru. Prices are high for the food served. The beers weren't very cold. They tried to overcharge. Perhaps it was a mistake.

03/06/2025: Avevamo scelto questo locale per potere gustare delle granite con brioche e pertanto avevamo chiesto gentilmente se era disponibile un tavolo per la consumazione. Il cameriere che prendeva le ordinazioni non ci ha degnato di una risposta, anzi ci ha guardati con molta sufficienza e dopo 20 minuti di attesa abbiamo deciso di cambiare locale. Forse il proprietario dovrebbe attenzione maggiormente il servizio reso o meglio NON RESO dal personale.

25/07/2025: I am very disappointed with this restaurant. We came, the food was delicious but in the end everything got worse, I don't know why they say 24h open, in our country it is normal somewhere so we counted on it being open. In the end it was closed already at 23h. On gmaps it says 24hoein open, on imaps until 3am So I don't know where to find out the opening hours, we are certainly not the first ones who got fooled. However the food was delicious, but this really annoyed us that's why I'm giving a bad rating so that everyone will notice.
