Arco Antico In Palermo

Good pizza, really good, quality ingredients. Terrible service, repeated orders, arguments between employees, and pizzas arriving more than 30 minutes after the appetizer. The order was lost, and the pizza chefs and waiters argued. Plus, the wrong bill was given at the register. These things can happen, but they ruined a lovely evening.

Good food and fast service. A few minor oversights are to be expected, but given these high summer temperatures, a few minor lapses are acceptable. When ordering, the staff provide extensive explanations, which is always appreciated. We dined outside because, given the pizza oven, the cool air conditioning isn't noticeable inside, and there's a lot of noise outside, especially from the ambulances leaving from the nearby hospital. I would recommend installing some good fans with water jets in the outdoor dining area; that would make a difference.

A dinner for 40 people. Many items on the menu were unavailable. The pizzas were good. It was very hot and the air conditioning wasn't sufficient.

A pizzeria a little outside Palermo, but very worth it. We happened upon it before boarding GNV and I must say that it left us very satisfied.

L'Arco Antico is a historic, family-run establishment that has reinvented itself over the years, transforming from a small neighborhood market selling groceries, wines, and spirits to a wine bar/pizzeria restaurant. The space is spacious, with a large indoor dining room and a large outdoor area with several outdoor tables, right next to the Arco Antico, which once served as the entrance to an old rural farmhouse before the area was overgrown. The cuisine is excellent, especially the pizzas, made with a light and flavorful dough and served with generous, high-quality toppings. On weekends, the establishment occasionally features live music. The staff is friendly and professional.

I stopped by this place by chance for dinner. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. I'll definitely be back!
