31/08/2025: When we booked, we weren't told that the evening was a fixed menu, with no options. The menu included appetizer samples and pasta with anchovies and toasted bread. It took them over an hour and a half to serve the various appetizers. Finally, they brought the pasta, but there wasn't a hint of anchovies. All this for €25.00 per person, without drinks. My advice: skip it.

14/11/2025: Typical Sicilian delicacies, fantastico! What luck – we discovered this restaurant on our way back from the Taormina Gardens. The staff doesn't need to lure you in with any strange offers; you can tell right from the outside: this is the place! The selection of bruschetta is incredible, and thankfully we were warned: the portions are very generous. Delicious, affordable, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: I was very satisfied with my experience at Zancos. It's a place suitable for all occasions, both formal and informal. This time, we decided to celebrate a family member's birthday. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout the service. I'd particularly like to mention the sandwich with a beef burger, cheese, mushrooms, white truffle cream, and arugula. I highly recommend it! A mix of ingredients that really go together. You can also choose between fries or grilled vegetables (for an additional fee) as a side dish. The restaurant also offers cuts of meat, such as Angus, as well as a wide selection of appetizers. The Zancos fries with aged Parmigiano Reggiano cream and bacon are definitely worth a try. Thank you!

18/09/2025: I go to Palermo for work three or four times a year and stop at my sister's place, which is 100 meters from the restaurant... I have to say, I'd never been before, and it was a surprise because the food is really good! Reasonable prices, portions that are good for two... I had a heifer accompanied by rice and vegetables with sauces, everything delicious! The potatoes were also superb, perfectly seasoned with sauces and speck. Highly recommended!

31/10/2025: I regret having to write this review because the waiter served us very well, but today my mother and I went for breakfast and when it came time to pay, the man was incredibly rude to us simply for wanting to pay by card. This is the first time this has happened to me in all of Avola, and it's a shame that such a lovely place is ruined by someone who is always in a bad mood and treats customers poorly.

04/11/2025: As soon as we arrived in Modica, we took a stroll through Modica Sorda, and had breakfast at this place. The products were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had the ricotta cannoli... What can I say? It was pure ecstasy.

09/11/2025: A charming and welcoming place. The name doesn't lie—it's right on the sea. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent. We tried the appetizers and the first courses. The tagliatelle with lemon and bottarga and the casarecce deserve special mention. The lemon and basil granita was outstanding, and the tiramisu was superb. We'll definitely be back.

24/08/2025: Excellent pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. The dough, made with ancient grains, is truly excellent and very digestible; I believe it's made with sourdough starter. Quality ingredients, very friendly owner and staff. Fair prices. Even though the restaurant was full, the owner sat us down for a quick pizza: quick and efficient service.

06/09/2025: Too much cheese on everything😂 You have to wait in an organized line😁 for about 35 minutes. There is a vending machine... There is no display outside the place that shows when your dish is ready to be picked up (there are no waiters there)

22/10/2025: For a difficult period, my son and I were forced to have lunch at this restaurant; today, after more than two years, we're finally returning with the peace of mind of a reunited family. The atmosphere is pleasant and serene, the food excellent, the service impeccable, the portions generous, and the prices quite reasonable. What more can I say? Try it, it's definitely worth it. Even for a simple coffee! 🙂👍

08/03/2025: I ordered a pizza delivery for 8pm. After a 30-minute delay, I called back to find out what had happened to the pizza and they replied that it was on its way... another 30 minutes later, it was 9pm. I called back and they replied that they thought I was supposed to pick up the pizza and then they told us it was on its way... another 30 minutes passed, I called back and they told us that the pizza had been ready for 5 minutes and they were waiting for the delivery guy to bring it... after 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting, we gave up and got a frozen pizza... at least that one arrived straight from the freezer to the oven... I definitely won't be getting a pizza from them again.
