18/08/2025: Excellent, quality, professionalism and friendliness!

15/05/2025: I think they should think about what they say! I go in the morning to see for the first time what they did in gastronomy and together with my girlfriend we book 4 arancini for the evening, (saying and specifying that it was the first time we went there) and paying €1.50 each they don't tell us that they were small and that it wasn't the hot table that they usually make in Sicily nice and big! In the evening I go to get the arancini on time?! But as soon as my turn comes and I see those tiny things, I say that I would have expected at least medium pieces but not croquettes, and the person with a lot of sarcasm who is behind the counter, answers me that they are arancini and that they do it like that! I mean, no I'm joking but they were Palermo croquettes!!!! I'm from Catania and honestly the word Arancini/o/e has a whole other meaning!! Anyway, ok, you do them like this, but at least warn the person who has never been there and who comes to order and tells you that it's the first time they've come!!!! And try to be more humble, but evidently with all the people who come there, you too have become that way or have you always been?! Ps: don't let certain grumpy people stand behind the counter, because when I said that they seemed like Palermo croquettes to me, he answered me in a way that I didn't throw the tray at him out of respect for eating!!! I only gave an example, because I'm from Catania, but there's no need to offend another city just for an example!!! And if he says that those are arancini then I think that in Catania he has only eaten at your place!!! Because ARANCINI are with a capital A and not little things!!! Have a good evening

18/08/2025: I'm sorry to have to say this because both the location and the pizzolo, a typical local specialty, are fantastic, one, and delicious, the other. Unfortunately, the service, the first time I've eaten here, was disappointing to say the least. We were in a good group, but from 8:30 PM to midnight, we didn't receive all the pizzas and pizzoli that were supposed to arrive... appalling. Faced with our legitimate concerns about what happened, we were almost blamed for being too many... unprofessional and very sad. We had to stop the pizzas after midnight and paid the bill. It's a real shame, because both the location and the quality of the pizzolo deserve it.

24/08/2025: Excellent pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. The dough, made with ancient grains, is truly excellent and very digestible; I believe it's made with sourdough starter. Quality ingredients, very friendly owner and staff. Fair prices. Even though the restaurant was full, the owner sat us down for a quick pizza: quick and efficient service.

28/07/2025: The worst coffees and cappuccinos I've ever had! Burnt coffee and watered-down cappuccino. Avoid going there, or try it yourself.

29/06/2025: Kind and helpful staff, I had a toast, it was GIANT, and I spent the right amount, I was really happy because in Novara I spent double and the Toast was not good, I recommend it, the coffee is also good.

11/08/2025: Cinema is a magnificent art, and anyone showing it anywhere deserves five stars. If you're in the Noto area, this, aside from the open-air cinema in Avola, is the only multiplex within an hour's drive. Nestled in a peripheral area like most of these large structures, we find it proud and well-maintained inside, with comfortable seats even in the smallest theaters. Popcorn and drinks are available, with somewhat obligatory pairings that are typical of these multiplexes, and they're nice and salty enough to make you feel like you're in a typical big movie theater. Complex set lists of new and old releases are the hallmark of a passion for the big screen and its rules. The theater where we saw Jurassic Park was small, with comfortable seats. I must admit, the sound was decent, and the screen was perhaps too close and lacking in contrast. But friends, long live the cinema that shows it, and we enjoyed the film very well, comfortably, with the volume and colors of a theater, not a cell phone. Thanks to those who work in these facilities and to those who believe in them, even in these seaside resorts, sometimes deprived of this channel of visual culture and entertainment, essential to the healthy culture of a nation.

03/08/2025: My best friend and I grew up in this theater. We've been coming here for almost 15 years. I still remember when it became a multiplex. They renovated it beautifully, and with the multiplex they managed to offer an excellent program, but it seems like the changes stopped there, years ago... It's practically the only theater in Syracuse, and it's strange that they still have such small screens and very old seats. It would be amazing if they could put an IMAX screen in Theater 1, considering the enormous space available, including the seats. The world of cinema in general has made great technological progress; abroad, I've had the opportunity to go to several theaters with reclining seats, restaurants inside the theater with a huge selection of snacks, and service directly to the VIP seats. These, on the other hand, have remained stuck in the past. The sound is often very, very loud, to the point of being disturbing and slightly distorted. Furthermore, it's truly bizarre that if you book online, you pay more than buying tickets in person. Years ago, they offered various promotions; with various phone providers, you had access to a certain number of tickets per month, and discounts. I don't think they offer any of these anymore. The air conditioning sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, which is truly unacceptable in the summer heat in Sicily. We'll keep coming back because it's the only cinema in Syracuse and for the nostalgic feel. It would be nice to see some updates after all these years.

19/08/2025: I found this place by chance, nothing special.... They told me on the phone that I could choose inside or outside upon arrival, but then they chose outside on a veranda, as they said!!! There are lamps overhead that give off heat and there is no air conditioning or ventilation. These open lamps are full of flies that fall onto the plates.... happened to my daughter. The bruschetta appetizer consisted of 2 fresh breads and 2 non-fresh ones, very hard. The pizzas were the same as those in Sicily (hard-boiled eggs everywhere), but the ingredients were fresh. I wouldn't recommend it, everything needs improving, even the welcome they give to local moms.

26/01/2025: Sunday lunch above our expectations. Fixed menu consisting of a large excellent appetizer (we could have gotten up and left), two exquisite first courses (fusilli with fennel and gnocchi with broccoli). The second courses (grilled bacon and a roll composed of sausage and vegetables rolled in bacon) very tasty. Hot and tasty fritters. They should only speed up the service but for the rest nothing to say. PS: kind and professional staff from start to finish. Definitely highly recommended

27/08/2025: If we had listened to Google reviews, we would have passed. Fortunately, we decided to follow the much more relevant advice of the Guide du Routard, which recommended the place. And indeed, the pizzas, both the dough and the other ingredients, were excellent (be careful with the olives, however, which retain their pits). The service was very good, with sufficiently attentive waitresses. We showed up at 7 on a Wednesday at the end of August, without a reservation, and were seated right away. In short, a very good experience, in the heart of a very picturesque neighborhood of Scicli.
