02/10/2025: I had an amazing evening meal here. It began with a warm welcome and had attentive staff. I started with the black boar carpaccio and then had seafood spaghetti. The olive oil on the carpaccio was brilliant and the seafood was tasty, fresh, and plentiful. A glass of local white wine and an amaro were perfect accompaniments to this feast.

30/10/2025: We ate at Pastarun in Syracuse, and what can I say...a spectacular experience! We had a pasta alla Norma, a pasta Siracusana, and two arancini (one Norma and one sausage and broccoli): all simply atomic. Authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and more than generous portions. The prices are incredible for the quality—a pasta for just €6 was practically a gift! Friendly staff and fast service. A place that truly deserves a full 5 stars, we'll definitely be back!

Another fantastic person is Antonio, who guided us step by step with professionalism, patience, and attention, helping us turn every idea into reality. In short: a perfect day, made so also (and above all) thanks to this wonderful location. 17/08/2025: Where to begin? Perfect wouldn't be the full story! We had to organize the wedding remotely, living in Switzerland, so we had no time to think about the details. Antonella was incredibly available from the very first moment, accommodating our every request and helping us with everything. The wedding day was absolutely magnificent; Antonio and the staff were exceptionally professional, attentive to every detail. The venue was stunning, a portrait of rural Sicily...a dream. The food was extraordinary and breathtaking. Our guests, from all over Europe and the world, were all ecstatic. We couldn't have asked for anything better! 30/08/2025: What can I say...excellent quality! I frequented this place often during my time in Sicily and was thrilled. The granita with brioche is a highlight, but they're also no slouch with their savory options, from arancini to traditional focaccia. I'll focus on what really stood out to me: my favorite granitas, the mulberry and toasted almond one...impossible to pass up.

15/10/2025: The quality of the Zimat ice cream was excellent, especially in combination with the whipped cream. The price-performance ratio was also impressive.

19/09/2025: Visited here on our last day (forgot to take a photo of the gelato/ ice cream) and had a cone. It was my least favourite experience of ice cream in the week in Sicily. It was the most expensive (although still very fair - €3.20), most places are €3. Price definitely not an issue. Slightly smaller amount of ice cream than other places we visited. I would’ve happily paid more because the ice cream quality was some of the BEST we’d had. It’s stored in the steel (deep) tins which I believe is indicative of them making it themselves / higher quality. Overall, I would’ve just hoped for a bit more ice cream and would’ve happily paid more. My hopes were high but felt slightly let down. Maybe others will have a better experience. I’m rating 4 because of the ice cream quality being the most important part.

05/10/2025: Very good and affordable pastries and coffee. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Sunday morning Sicilian bar, noisy but charming.

05/08/2025: How can they expect that a charge a no show fee of Euro160 is accepted, taking a deposit with no deposit clauses nor protection. Unacceptable, they are not worth my money and time.

03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso. Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.

As wedding vendors, we can proudly say that this place, besides being truly magical, also has an extraordinary staff! 08/10/2025: If you go to Trapani, DO NOT GO to this restaurant!! Service is POOR, people are not educated and the least one can eat is of very poor quality!! It's a NO GO restaurant in Trapani! Trust me.

06/10/2025: A very nice and cheap place in Trapani. We ordered two starters: Burrata and Pplpete, and two main courses: Carbonara and Rigatoni, all delicious with two Spritzes, and a tiramisu for dessert. All for 45 Euros. The service was very good.

08/10/2025: The place is small and cramped, with cramped, uncomfortable spaces. It certainly doesn't help you enjoy the evening, especially when you're forced to wait a long time: our pizza arrived after an inordinate wait, despite the limited number of customers in attendance. When it finally arrived, the disappointment was even greater: the dough was raw in the center, hard to chew, and indigestible. Added to all this, the prices are decidedly too high for the quality offered. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this experience, neither for the food nor the atmosphere. Considering the ridiculous way you've blocked replies to this review, continue here!! I thought it was humiliating for you to add that the takeaway pizza box was for our beloved dog, who unfortunately also refused to eat it. Furthermore, the reservation was for 8 people, there were no changes. Regarding the pizza, it was actually not raw, it was anemic, it was dripping with water from the mozzarella, considering that pizzas with whole mozzarella in the center should be drained in the morning. I would like to add that our restaurant in Rimini is among the most renowned, with average prices, and since the product is very high quality, it would never cross our mind to offer a fork. That said, it would be enough to be more humble and accept criticism, especially constructive criticism!

20/08/2025: I really liked it. You leave the center of Palermo, a 24-hour chaos, behind. You enter a quieter, more relaxed world... less noise, with the sea just a stone's throw away. Relatively simple service, not pompous or overly elaborate. Average prices (not excessive, but not low either: I'd still call them fair). Good food, simple but carefully prepared, and accompanied by a variety of sauces. Fud Bottega Sicula (here in the seafood version) is a good guarantee of quality.
