Mamà In Palermo

I had the pleasure of dining at Mamà Pizza Bistrot and the experience was positive. The pizza is excellent, well-cooked, and made with quality ingredients. A special highlight is their exquisite almond parfait, truly delicious and the perfect end to a meal. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to their guests' needs. The location is quiet and relaxing, ideal for a peaceful dinner away from the hustle and bustle.

We had pizza for dinner. It's not your typical soft-crust, high-crust pizza, but a very crispy one. The ingredients are very good, and the service is excellent. The prices are a bit higher than average, but we saved a bit with The Fork.

Good food, very pleasant location, but unfortunate logistics. On three occasions, going to lunch around 12:30 and ordering a first course and a second course, a considerable amount of time passed. On the last occasion, the first course arrived 45 minutes later and the second course 85 minutes later—basically, about an hour and a half. They tend to forget about the second course. And they don't put it in the correct chronological order. Therefore, IMHO, it works if you order a single dish and arrive after 1:00 PM. Otherwise, both arriving early and ordering everything at once are pointless (in places like this, it's better to ask for the second course only after having eaten the first course: paradoxically, it will have a better chance of receiving priority than if you had it included in the same order, even if you ordered all the first courses for the entire restaurant, when it was almost empty, i.e., at 12:30 PM). Once these (very common) logistical issues are resolved, there's nothing else to complain about.

I recommend this restaurant to everyone, family and friends. The food is exceptional, the service excellent. The staff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere is upscale. The value for money is among the best in Palermo. Every day is a surprise of goodness and kindness.
