14/08/2025: My goal in this review is to provide honest feedback that can give the restaurant owner the opportunity to grow and improve. I ate well, but I don't know if I'll return. There were a couple of small details that, if addressed, would make the experience truly impeccable. I enjoyed the first courses, which were truly exceptional. The fish first course, the quality of the ingredients, and the balance of flavors were perfect. The tuna was also excellent, prepared to perfection. Unfortunately, there was a problem with an appetizer that I had to have replaced. It should be noted that the dish was promptly changed. Another small hiccup occurred with the spirits at the end of the meal, which were served hot and for which we were advised to add ice (!!!). I reported both issues immediately (noting the restaurant owner's genuine disappointment), not to get a discount (the €10 fee wouldn't have changed anything) but because I believe that offering a small touch, such as complimentary spirits, in these cases would have been a gesture that would encourage the customer to return. It's these small touches that make the difference and demonstrate how important the customer is. In short, the cuisine is top-notch, but greater attention to detail and the management of these small unexpected events can make all the difference. Thank you for your attention.

16/07/2025: Scalia Comida Mexicana was referred to us by Alex from another restaurant. The Al Pastor tacos and Birria tacos were great. Manuel also brought some taco chips and guacamole in an avocado half asa a bowl. The lime flavor made it especially good. Next, he brought out a three-sectioned plate of sauces: mild, medium, and the last one with hot chili flavor. Those were fantastic! We finished it off with cinnamon churros. The best food in Catania!

16/07/2025: The restaurant offers all-inclusive menus for €25 or €35, depending on your appetite. Excellent traditional pasta dishes are on the menu. Perfect service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

30/07/2025: The images make you want to eat, but the hidden side of the "iceberg" is still lacking. The ice cream brioche is excellent, nothing to say about the food, it's perfect. On the other hand, the service is deplorable. They barely want to make us eat. No politeness, no smiles, inappropriate looks. I've never seen anything like that. I won't be back. Too bad, because the food is good.

13/08/2025: I hate to say it, but I expected better from a 4-star hotel. A hotel should have a bar and a restaurant on site. When we booked our room, we asked reception if the restaurant was open. They told us it was open, but only for those who had booked, so we could use it. Unfortunately, when I asked what time we could go down to the restaurant, I was told it would be closed. Despite all this, I booked for two nights and even paid a fairly high price, considering it's mid-August. As for the rest, I don't know what else to say. The pool is open, but it's quite small, so with a few more rooms booked, it obviously gets crowded, making it difficult to swim. The minibar in the room didn't work, and the cleanliness was no problem. I'd recommend reconsidering the services a hotel should offer, because someone would be willing to pay for dinner and lunch, and not have to rush around looking for an open pizzeria!

06/08/2025: Stayed for one night for Etnaland. Very convenient, large private parking lot, everything well-maintained and clean, both inside and out. The reception is staffed, but not at night, and the elevator is unusable from midnight to 8 am the next day; I'm not sure how a wheelchair user is supposed to manage. The hotel is keyless; you can open everything (doors and garage gate) with a code; convenient, but I'm not sure if it's practical for security. Unfortunately, the pizzeria was closed. The room was clean, but with some shabby and outdated details, such as a blackened toilet and silicone in the shower. Breakfast was simple and communal, but plentiful; excellent orange juice. Small pool with a few loungers and a lawn. There's not much to do in town, but I'd stay here again on my next trip to Etnaland.

19/07/2025: Beautiful location, excellent menu, good food, the only flaw is the prices, but perhaps they're the same everywhere these days. I'd definitely visit more often if it were a little cheaper. I'll be back in the summer; 4 out of 14 tables outside are occupied, 90% inside... Two pizzas, 75-minute wait! It's moved nearby, I recommend the traditional pizzas!

12/07/2025: A place with plenty of covered outdoor space. We were served quickly and well. The pizzas are huge and very good. We were four adults, and no one could finish it. Very reasonably priced. It's not a chic or particularly pretty place, but it's authentic and completely local. Recommended if you want to eat very good pizzas, cheap, and in quantity. They also have pasta, mussels, meat, etc.

27/07/2025: We decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance. We arrived with high expectations. Overall, the appetizers were good, as was the octopus. However, there were a number of unexpected events that prevent us from giving a positive review. We sat outside, and as soon as the food arrived, wasps began circling the table and landing on the appetizers. Far from blaming the staff for their presence, they could have offered us another table or at least intervened. Furthermore, we regretted that one waiter in particular seemed almost annoyed by our requests. He, in fact, got into an argument with the table next to him during dinner. The worst was to come with the pasta (pesto and sardines), which, besides being completely dry, was uneatable due to its excessive amount of bones. Despite not having eaten it and having been brought to our attention, we were charged for it, and not even a simple "sorry" was uttered. We, however, regret having paid for it and that our expectations were thus disappointed.

23/07/2025: My unmissable stop in Scicli for a high-class aperitif lunch. The friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism of all the wait staff is matched by dishes and wines that never disappoint. Congratulations!

05/08/2025: Da partenopeo in vacanza in Sicilia solo due parole:pizze strepitose! Tutte ben lavorate e con ingredienti di prima fascia,sia per quanto riguarda le napoletane che quelle gourmet. Servizio rapido ed attento,rapporto qualità prezzi non bassissimo ma l’esperienza lo vale tutto. Se siete a San Vito lo Capo per una qualsiasi ragione questo locale è da tappa fissa. Da ricordare e ripetere…..

04/06/2025: La pizza migliore di San Vito. Non è buona, è decisamente strepitosa. Occorre prenotare perché sempre pieno. Birre artigianali buonissime, personale gentilissimo e attento.
