18/09/2025: Really nice place if you like steak. Some a bit different like zebra, crocodile or reindeer. The sicilian cow was great as were the sides.

07/09/2025: Absolutely EXCELLENT experience. 10/10. The meat was delicious, perfectly cooked, full of flavor. The deserts were so good, best cannoli we’ve ever had. Even the bread was fantastic. This quality meal would easily be triple the cost in the USA. But… I cannot comment enough on how excellent the service is here. The wait staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They work very hard, they frequently come to the table to ask how everything is. Our server, Andrea, went above and beyond to explain everything in English. They even let us sit at a table up on the terrace even though it was closed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. If I’m ever in this town in Sicily I will absolutely return.

28/09/2025: Beware of tourist rip-offs! We were charged €9.00 for two regular granites. Aside from the fact that the price is already higher than at other bars in town, we were also charged a €1.50 service charge (according to the owner: "because they brought the granites to our table.") Absolutely outrageous and a rip-off. Such a charge is normally only charged by restaurants for table service when dining. We haven't experienced anything like this at any other bar in Sicily. We won't be visiting this bar again.

08/10/2025: I recently visited Pizzeria di Antenati in Messina, and I must say it was a truly perfect experience in every way! We ordered both gluten-free pizza and a gluten-free appetizer, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the care with which everything was prepared. The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas light and tasty, and the attention to detail is evident in every dish. The staff is truly a strong point: courteous, helpful, and above all, attentive to customer needs, including those with food intolerances. It's rare to find such attentive and professional service! Another very positive note is the restrooms, impeccably clean and fragrant, a sign of careful and respectful customer service.

10/10/2025: 🍃 Let's start with the location, which is truly charming. Access is from the busy main road, but thanks to the wide avenue that leads into a wonderful courtyard, you forget the hassle and hustle of the street. The place is very large, and I've seen it host many events, which unfortunately I haven't had the chance to attend. 🍔Spectacular food, never ordinary, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Wide variety and excellent prices (and fast service). 🍸Signature cocktails worth trying, well-balanced and unique. 🫂All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the owner is a wonderful and very nice person. My only regret is that I live on the other side of Italy, otherwise this would definitely be my go-to bar/restaurant! I sincerely wish them much happiness and success. You can see they put their heart into it, and I know it's not always easy! PS: I wanted to add some photos to this review, but we devoured the whole thing before we even got around to taking any photos.

21/08/2025: A family with children around 10, peak season, we stopped by Radio Rock for a late dinner. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the pinsa because the kitchen was closed, so we settled for the aperitivo platter, which didn't disappoint. It's definitely a charming place for rock fans and beer lovers, with a wide selection. But even when we sat at one of the outdoor tables along the street, it proved to be a very welcoming place and the manager was very friendly.

19/08/2025: An experience not to be repeated. We ordered two assorted platters with some poor-quality cured meats, mediocre cheeses, focaccia cut into small portions, perhaps made the day before, and meatballs, perhaps fish because you can't tell the taste, probably frozen and defrosted countless times. I didn't get a full account of the evening, or rather, the night. Vomiting and diarrhea. It's early, and they ruined my Bennato concert in Piazza San Giovanni because of the stomachache my wife and I had. If we'd ended up in the emergency room, I don't know what would have happened. I'll stop here.

10/10/2025: Local restaurant, authentic, lots of locals. Fantastic food. The caponata was delicious. Pasta alla Trapani is also recommended.

09/10/2025: My wife and I stopped here before we went back to the airport just before 3pm. We arrived around 2:40pm and they were still serving food. The food was incredible and came out hot! Best food of our trip and now dreaming of how im going to recreate this carbonara pasta in Australa! Thank you!

01/08/2025: Our family stay at this agriturismo was pure magic. The tranquility, the stunning views of the mountains and Mount Etna, the pool, and all the activities for the kids were simply perfect. But the real highlight was the hospitality of Filippo and Rita and their incredible food. The homemade Sicilian dishes they served us every night, with fresh vegetables from their garden, were hands down the best we've ever tasted. Our kids even asked why we couldn't spend all vacations here!

25/08/2025: Lucia, Sabina, and the entire staff were wonderful! Everything was fantastic, there were 35 of us who were a pain in the ass, and they absolutely made it a wonderful evening for all of us. ❤️ We'll be back, thank you so much.

11/08/2025: Restaurant with a lovely setting and a beautiful view. A simple menu, only in Italian. Access is difficult and only possible by going downstairs. A warm welcome and friendly staff. Delicious food. Total bill was 32 euros, with no details. Price for Pasta Norma: 8 or 9 euros with fresh pasta. Typical restaurant

02/10/2025: This was our second trip to Menfi and staying with Planeta. The first at La Forsteria and this time and their sweet Country House. Both were lovely. The service is impeccable, the food outstanding, the cooking class a blast, and the location/setting perfect. A shout out to Giuseppe who took care of our every need and the breakfast attendants that greeted each morning with our Americana coffee at first sight. Will be back!

17/09/2025: A fantastic experience! Relaxing atmosphere, impeccable hospitality (thank you, Giuseppe!), and excellent service. Don't miss the "call wine" dinner featuring high-quality local products. The convivial atmosphere at the large table is perfect for mingling with other guests and tasting Planeta's excellent wines. We'll definitely be back.

13/08/2025: Lea's food and wine club is the best you could expect from this island; there are even two rooms for club members. Here you can experience a timeless dimension and savor the best Alicudi cuisine has to offer. Lea and her family are wonderful people with rare grace, kindness, and friendliness. Highly recommended.
