25/11/2024: Lots of flavor and lots of Sicily in these traditional dishes made contemporary by the hand of a passionate young talented chef. Simple and welcoming environment, excellent dining staff. Wide and refined selection of local wines without being pretentious. An excellent choice for a refined but tasteful dinner.

The quiet environment with attention to detail offers the opportunity to taste excellent products and relax in the company of friends. The owner, always kind and helpful, explains with great attention the history of the place and the infusions present. The artisan biscuits served with tea are also excellent.

10/10/2024: Se volete gustare degli ottimi salumi e formggi, accompagnati da buon vino e buona musica (ma la musica è solo un opinione) andate li tranquilli. Io e mia moglie si è preso un tagliere di affettati e formaggi, con miele,salsina ai peperoni noci, il tutto abbondante, ma sopratutto molto buono. Il locale è piccolino percio è consigliato prenotare.

17/01/2025: This was a great, cheap and tasty find. It's actually an upmarket butchers with some tables for serving food. They make everything themselves and it's cooked when you order it. The owner speaks English which made everything easier. I came for lunch and it soon got super busy with people queuing (always a good sign). I had 2 spiedini's (zucca & zucchina) meat skewers and the caponato siciliano (as pictured). Everything was superb so much so that I ordered another spiedini to take home. Everything you see in the photo plus another meat skewers was less than 20€. Perfect!!!

We ate pasta and they were exquisite. The dessert is also very delicious. Another detail, the place is beautiful. I would definitely return!

21/11/2024: Personally I think it is one of the best burgers in Catania (if not the best), at least in the entire central area, among a thousand sandwich shops that sell fried air and which never fully satisfy. All the ingredients are fresh and delicious, each sandwich is always a delight. It may seem trivial, but what many often forget is that a good burger starts from the BREAD, which is always fresh and delicious, rather than being cheap like in most sandwich shops. The staff is very friendly and kind, the prices are honest and in line with the market. Unfortunately, I'm afraid they don't make home deliveries (a site is indicated, but it doesn't work, and I've never found it in the delivery apps), but in some ways it's a good thing: being such a good sandwich, it should be enjoyed on the spot as soon as it's ready. ready, and being in the central Via Umberto it is worth taking a walk to reach it. The place is small but has its own style, nice and clean. Keep it up, well done!
