20/08/2025: Every time I return from Sardinia, before boarding the ship with my family, I "have to" have dinner at Metropizzeria in Olbia. The food is good, and not just pizza—this time it's grilled and sliced ribeye—but they also have excellent pasta dishes and pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful, even when they're busy, and the service is quick enough to make the ship on time. In short, go there and you won't be disappointed.

17/08/2025: recent experience at Il Macellaio steak house… was unbelievably disappointing During my holiday in Sardinia. A friend recommended this stake house establishment, yet it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I've encountered in the last decade The service was nothing short of abysmal. We were consistently ignored by the waiter, who seemed too preoccupied with other tables to attend to us properly. This lack of attention was frustrating, as we had to repeatedly call over, only to be told he was busy. Our party of five was clearly the largest table that night, but that did not seem to warrant any extra focus from the staff. Furthermore, the manager's inattention was equally disappointing. When I asked for the bill, it was brought to us from another table, and after I mistakenly paid for that, the manager confirmed it was wrong. I felt extremely uncomfortable being forced to settle the bill again for the correct table, especially after our service had been so poor. Throughout our meal, the table remained cluttered with empty dishes, and not once did the GM approach us to inquire about our experience. It was disheartening to feel neglected when we were simply seeking a pleasant evening out. When we finally voiced our concerns, the waiter responded with a defensive attitude, boasting about his experience instead of addressing our issues. Food quality aside, the service we received was unacceptable. Being on holiday, one hopes to be treated with respect, yet we felt distinctly undervalued compared to other table and treat with bias In a region known for its warmth and hospitality, Il Macellaio stands out as a stark exception. If you are seeking quality dining with professional service in Olbia, I suggest exploring the many other establishments that can truly appreciate and cater to their customers.

19/08/2025: You won't find a place in the center of Olbia with a better value than Diciosas. The platters and bruchettas are plentiful and delicious. Although it's always packed (there must be a reason 😉), you don't have to wait long to find a table, and they serve your orders in no time. And the service is unbeatable, with Grazia leading the team and Mateo working tenfold to reach everyone, just like the rest of the team. If you come to Olbia, you have to go to Diciosas.

23/06/2025: Simple but very welcoming place located in a pedestrian street away from the chaos. The kindness and thoughtfulness of the competent and attentive staff is immediately striking... qualities that are increasingly rare in restaurants in these tourist places! Abundant dishes and fresh, quality food, both meat and fish... excellent value for money! I highly recommend it... we will definitely be back!

22/06/2025: I had the opportunity to dine there last night. Warm evening, dinner outside in the cathedral square. Informal and polite atmosphere. Punctual and fast service. Very kind and affable staff (Mirco). Very good pizza and excellent mussels alla marinara. Beautiful evening, to return.

30/08/2025: The capatosta never disappoints. On the evening of August 30th, we dined on an excellent sauté of mussels of excellent quality. Then, at Stefano's suggestion, we ordered tonnarelli with sea bream, followed by dessert and a barrel-aged grappa. We were thoroughly satisfied with both the flavors and the cooking, as well as Stefano's impeccable service and the price, which seemed reasonable for the quality and quantity. We'll definitely be returning.

07/09/2025: Just steps from the seafront: a spacious, bright restaurant with a welcoming internal veranda. Easy, relaxed atmosphere. Professional and fast service. Authentic Neapolitan pizza, the kind with the crust that...never ends. Excellent value. Must try!

05/09/2025: The food was delicious. Make a reservation for the grilled maialo via WhatsApp; it's worth it. We had stewed octopus, also delicious. Be careful with the quantities. We ordered maialo (roasted pork) for one person and we could barely manage it between the two of us.

26/08/2025: The meat dish I had was extremely small; the meat was actually cut like a slice of cold cuts, accompanied by a bit of lettuce and a very small handful of pork. If you wanted chips, you had to pay for them separately. The price of the dish was 24 euros. I had a better meal in London a few days ago, and for the same price or less... I mean, London... other places... needless to say... what a shame...

18/08/2025: Everything was excellent, especially the seafood appetizers. Kevin, the waiter who looked after us, was very professional and knowledgeable in describing each dish and its ingredients. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: We had dinner at Il Guscio restaurant and the experience was truly excellent. We ordered a beef tagliata, a beef tartare, a salmon tartare, a fried dish, a tuna fillet, and the octopus: all the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients, carefully presented, and impeccably flavored. We were immediately impressed by the quality of the meat and fish, and every course lived up to expectations. Special thanks go to our waiter, Kevin, who was kind, attentive, and very professional. He was able to offer excellent recommendations and made the dinner even more enjoyable with his impeccable service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for high-end cuisine accompanied by warm and attentive service. We will definitely be back!

02/09/2025: Promising at first, but ultimately a disaster! It started with our cutlery being dirty, and then our bread bag arrived dirty. The wine was absolutely terrible. The food wasn't tasty, and the menu outside didn't match the actual menu. Not recommended.
