Everything we ate was delicious!
29/06/2026: This historic restaurant is a must-try for anyone who wants to eat well. The service is attentive and fast, and the quality of the dishes is excellent. I always eat the Sardinian gnocchetti, which are the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend them to everyone.
The staff is very friendly.

19/07/2026: I'm going to write a very long review because words aren't enough to describe this restaurant. We went there four days in a row with reservations. Imagine, you're in Italy and you wait until the end of each day to go to our favorite steakhouse. The food is fantastic. They're top-notch when it comes to meat. Even better, I met wonderful people; Piero. You are a very special person. He treated us like guests in the city. Of course, we're used to the prices in touristy places. The prices at Su Masellu are incredibly reasonable.

Great food, very nice owner (?) and staff and pleasant place with romantic atmosphere.
We had Fregola, Tuna carpaccio, Octopus - all fresh, tender, very tasty.
Even my kids and husband (not very fan of a seafood :) ) were delighted.
But what came as a surpise were desserts - tiramisu della casa (one of the best we had) and ricotta with special sardinian honey (I would recommend to mention it directly in a menu, though) were surprisingly great :) Pizza is also high quality. We will probably come back during our stay :)
16/07/2026: A huge thank you to all the staff for making this day even more memorable as we celebrated my daughter's graduation. If you're looking for a venue that combines excellent cuisine and a warm welcome for your special moments, this is the perfect place.

12/08/2026: Convinced by the reviews, we booked at the last minute. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and personable (which never hurts).
The food was excellent, with generous portions and a light pizza dough, probably fermented in the fridge to make it easier to digest.
I feel I can fully endorse the excellent reviews.
12/08/2026: We were here a few days ago and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food was really delicious, and the staff was very friendly. It was also super cozy. We will definitely be back again!!

Fine dining with excellent value for money.
19/07/2026: The food was okay. The atmosphere was okay, but we were attacked by wasps at the outside table under the pine tree. We gave up. It was €140 for two, but we left the fish and wine alone. The price would have been fair if we'd eaten. It's a summer problem. Too many people, extra tables. Wasp disinfestation not done. Too bad. They're good. I hope they fix it...

21/07/2026: We ordered a couple of appetizers and some main courses, and most of the dishes took over an hour to arrive. To make matters worse, when one of the pasta dishes finally arrived, it was lukewarm and quite undercooked. The others weren't anything special either. We ended up eating without any appetite, and after insisting, they acknowledged the problem and didn't charge us for the dish. The waitresses were very, very friendly and attentive.
20/07/2026: We arrived for lunch and although it says nothing is closed, they tell us they have to clean to serve dinner at 6 pm, unbelievable.
