30/09/2025: This place cannot be recommended under any circumstances. The service and pizza are poor quality, misshapen, and poorly made. The restroom needs renovation, with broken pieces. Unfortunately, everything is sloppy, and the poor service is a contributing factor.

26/09/2025: Mixed reviews. The restaurant doesn't look like much. Despite the small crowd, the service wasn't the most responsive. The waiter directed me to a strawberry panna cotta (advertised in English), when in fact it was the cherry coulis (which I don't recommend, by the way; it has a very chemical taste). However, the dishes were excellent, both the lobster linguine and the tomato and basil roccota ravioli!

08/12/2025: Doesn't even deserve one star! The room was completely moldy and smelled awful. Staying there was unacceptable. A scam. The photos on Booking.com don't match reality. The owner forced me to contact him through Booking.com requesting a different room. Only then was I allowed to see the room. It's an absolute dump. How can anyone call this a hotel???

11/10/2025: Very authentic cuisine, perfect for those who enjoy typical Sardinian food. Freshly caught fish was served every evening, and the menu changed depending on the catch. We ate here almost every evening during our vacation on Capo Testa and were never disappointed. The wine and food were both very good!

07/10/2025: Family-run, the menu changes daily based on the catch, but the first courses and desserts also change daily because everything except the pasta is handmade. Don't expect fancy dishes, just fresh ingredients prepared simply in a family atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Ulisse, the owner, is very kind and welcoming.

12/11/2025: If you're a tourist, the coffee costs €5; if you're a local, it's €1.50. And it takes quite a while to arrive.

01/11/2025: I think they're taking advantage of tourists. 6 euros for half a liter, the same as a small bottle. They did give us a snack, though.

14/09/2025: We were unsure to eat at first, because it was a little empty, but in fact I don’t understand why - the food was delicious and the service was nice. I ordered a tradicional dish, which was very very food. The amount as well. The carbonara was also very good. They had a discount on The Fork which is always helpful. Good ambience as well

20/09/2025: Tasty, friendly, simple snack bar. We ate and drank here every day during our week at the beach. It felt like we were saying goodbye to good friends on our final day!

17/09/2025: On the way to the bar (through the) undergrowth, you have to pass various excrements from either very large dogs or human pigs. But it doesn't seem to bother anyone because they've obviously been there for a while. We didn't eat anything. But it looked delicious. Quite nice, but the price-performance ratio is beyond outrageous. A small Aperol costs €8. A cappuccino costs €3, and that in a bush hut is cheeky and absolutely outrageous. This is all about cash and rip-offs. It was even cheaper at the expensive Isuledda. But as long as there are people who will pay any price without pain and without thinking, this kind of thing will become more and more common.

16/09/2025: We've been going to Cala Sarraina for years for the beach, but unfortunately, in recent years a private area with umbrellas and loungers has been created next to the bar/restaurant... The sea is beautiful, but it needs to be clean! Unfortunately, lately, it's often dirty with plastic and various human activities, ruining this wonderful cove.

13/09/2025: Unfortunately, the good location, and the view in particular, deserves the one star in this review. The only dish without garlic (to which my husband is allergic) was gnocchi in bianco (white gnocchi), in which we found a metallic residue from dishcloth. After pointing this out to the waiter, when it came to the bill, despite the law protecting consumers and allowing them not to pay for the dish, they charged us half, explaining it on the receipt as beer that we never consumed. We will report it to the health department.

29/09/2025: You pay for the views and the fame of the tiny village, which once belonged to a Spanish aristocrat. The pizza is mediocre, and don't even bother with the salad: 4 green leaves, 1 olive, and 1 anchovy for €15. I would only recommend it if you're really hungry, because the restaurant right next door charges double for any dish. In its favor, I will say that the waiter was friendly and the views of the calm sea are pleasant.

21/09/2025: When the service is worthy, as is the food accompanying the aperitifs, this place deserves 5 stars.

09/10/2025: Good service, good food; we've been there several times. The meat dishes are especially recommended. Only the squid rings were a bit softer in other restaurants. Everything else was excellent.

07/10/2025: The waiter convinced me to order lobster pasta for €25, claiming it was the best dish in the restaurant. I wanted tuna, but I was disappointed. You can tell from the photo that the lobster was tiny, and the pasta was store-bought. I also had to ask for butter and bread, even though that's standard in restaurant service and presentation. The waiter even asked, "Why do you need butter?"

07/11/2025: Slow and disorganized service. Sometimes you get the feeling the girls are doing you a favor by serving. Ordering a cappuccino and croissant but having to drink only the cappuccino during the long wait because the croissant takes several minutes to arrive is unforgivable and highly unprofessional. Everything else inevitably takes a back seat! I'll reply to the owner... I've been here several times, usually in the morning but at different times. In any case, whatever the time, everything is served at the same time. I don't think it's complicated to serve a coffee and a croissant at the same time or immediately after each other...

18/03/2026: The price of the cappuccino was more than normal, what I found excessive was the cost of a madeleine, (even a little dated) gluten-free, they are very small sweets, (homemade packaging, practically not sellable individually)

17/03/2026: As always, I'm traveling for work. I'm looking for places to eat. Honestly, I was referred to this place by a colleague who already knew it. I have to say that despite the name, it's much more than a bar. It's an excellent restaurant that offers a small but quality menu. I think it changes every day. I had the linguine with zucchini and shrimp, which was very generous in portion and seasoning. Very, very good. And judging by the cooking and the waiting time, the pasta was cooked to order. The tagliata with baked potatoes was also very tasty. The menu featured fish dishes that I will try in the future. I think it's a great place for lunch during a work break. It offers meals of a higher quality than you'd expect from a place like this. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. Well done, 5 ⭐️ ++

12/12/2025: It's incredible that a bar is still closed at 8:13 on a Friday morning. And on the Google app it even shows as open... maybe update the hours.

04/09/2025: We had a macchiato (€1.40), a normal price, a measly, tiny chocolate crescent (€1.40), and they asked us if we wanted water… 30 cents for a measly little glass… I don't recommend this place.

10/01/2026: Disappointing aperitif and poor service. The drinks were rather bland, and when they arrived, napkins, straws, and any other accompaniments were missing. I asked the waitress for chips and was told they only had the nachos on the menu, so I ordered them to accompany the aperitif. Last season, I already had a bad experience, but unfortunately this year, the situation worsened even further. To better understand how the service worked, I asked another waiter what came with the drinks, and after a moment of uncertainty, he replied "nachos." I then asked why I had to order them from the menu if they were already included. I was told that the portions "vary," but the explanation wasn't convincing. I then asked for the nachos included, and the difference from the ones I ordered was obvious. This episode confirmed the lack of clarity in management and truly poor service. I hope there will be improvements in the future, because the place has great potential.
