01/06/2025: A disgrace, we were moved to another table in the middle of dinner, all the customers were unhappy with the slow service, the food is less than average, all this for an exorbitant price, avoid.

21/10/2025: I can't help but write this review to express my disappointment at the shameful treatment we received at the pizzeria "Lo Zodiaco" in Cagliari. We booked for 9:00 PM, but the lady on the phone, in an arrogant and annoyed tone, imposed that the latest time for reservations was 8:30 PM. We arrived promptly, and the same lady greeted us with unjustified anger, accusing us of not having confirmed whether we wanted an inside or outside table. But beware, it was she who told us the table would be inside, and that the outside was only available if the weather was good! Once we were seated, the service was embarrassing: no one approached us to even ask "What are you drinking?", while the owner enjoyed exchanging jokes with everyone at the table except ours. When the waiter finally came to take our order, he had the audacity to make unpleasant jokes about one of our fellow diners' pizza preferences. A reputable restaurant never judges its customers' tastes, but here we were treated like poor "beggars" who had no right to choose what to eat, even though the menu allowed additions. The drinks? Obviously wrong. The pizza, fortunately, was very good, but that doesn't justify such disastrous service. And to top it off, while we were eating, people were arriving well after 8:30 PM, the "maximum" time for reservations. The icing on the cake: at 11:00 PM, while we were paying, we found ourselves with a newly seated table of at least 15 people! So, the rules only applied to us? Not only did they not ask us if we wanted a dessert or a liqueur, but we were practically ignored throughout the entire dinner. After such treatment, we stood up, paid, and left, quite annoyed. If this is the kind of welcome Cagliari wants to offer tourists, then the owners should reconsider their profession. A restaurant that treats its customers like we do doesn't deserve to survive. If they can't manage a pizzeria with a minimum of decency and professionalism, they'd do well to change careers.

19/10/2025: A place in the center of Cagliari that's run in the worst possible way. Zodiaco has a gorgeous courtyard and the pizzas are good, but that doesn't make up for the rudeness and total lack of attention from the lady who runs it. I made a reservation on Thursday for Saturday evening, asking for a table outside if possible. The lady on the phone said they would reserve a table inside, but if the weather was good, they would put us outside. I asked if it was possible to reserve for 9:00 PM, and in an annoyed tone, the lady replied that the latest time for reservations is 8:30 PM. I should point out that for the occasion, I wanted to take a friend who lives abroad to a place I thought was good, as well as celebrate a friend's birthday. Upon arrival, I assume the same person I spoke to on the phone greeted us, accusing us of not having confirmed whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. We tried to clarify, since she didn't tell me on the phone that we should confirm, but simply that weather permitting, she'd seat us outside. She accused us again of fighting her "four against one." From there, we realized that responding would be pointless given the attitude of the person in front of us, and the atmosphere became tense. Sitting outside, for over half an hour, no one deigned to even come over to ask if we wanted water. We tried calling the waiters several times, but they ignored us as if we were invisible and as if they'd been asked. Only after a long wait did one of them, kind and helpful, approach us and tell us they were waiting for the seventh person we'd reserved for, and we were finally able to explain that they wouldn't be coming. We ordered and ate a good pizza, but no one came back to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee, while they were arriving at the other tables. A lack of attention so marked it seemed intentional. Obviously, we decided to leave (and never set foot in there again). A courtyard that could be a strong point becomes a sad backdrop for service that makes it perfectly understandable why, on a Saturday night, the place was half empty. I note that other reviews also mentioned similar issues. Never again!

11/09/2025: Excellent bar. Friendly staff, good pastries, and clean bathrooms. Comfortable tables. Plus, to dry your hands, not the usual, useless, and noisy hand towels, but paper towels. Well done! 😉

09/09/2025: On vacation for a few days in Cagliari, without a doubt the best brunch in town! We went there twice in three days, just to tell you! The Eggs Benedict are excellent! I highly recommend it! 🙂

14/10/2025: Generally, the food is certainly very good. However, I had a pizza (egg and bacon) that wasn't seasoned enough. Non-alcoholic beer was only available on the menu, not in actual use. The restaurant was busy, but not as full as the restaurants on the beach. Otherwise, everything was fine. The prices were very fair.

24/09/2025: If you come to Cabras, a stop is a MUST! Since I moved to Sardinia, I've found my go-to place! Coming from a big city like Rome, where bars are around every corner, Daniela and company truly feel at home! The place is spotless, the staff is friendly and professional... In short, the perfect place for a coffee or an aperitif!

19/09/2025: The waiter who served us is a very friendly and experienced gentleman, with equal and respectful treatment of both locals and visitors. The person in charge who charged us was also very friendly. A strong and very important point of the restaurant. The food was correct but not outstanding. Maybe we didn't make the right choice, but it didn't convince us. I think the restaurant is part of a hotel, it has a terrace with a pool that, the space is a bit fair

17/09/2025: A lovely place, and extremely kind and welcoming staff. The food was truly delicious, both the spaghetti with clams and bottarga and the culurgiones with eggplant, ricotta, and cherry tomatoes.

16/09/2025: It started well with the appetizer, but then declined considerably. The German menu was unfortunately somewhat poorly translated. The thick slice of horse belly turned out to be a chewy, sliced-up mess. The mixed seafood only had three ingredients—a bit small for the price. Dessert was deliberately skipped.

01/11/2025: The hotel is well-organized, very tidy and clean, and the breakfast is top-notch. My room had a sea view and was fantastic. The kindness of the reception staff is amazing.

26/08/2025: Excellent stay and personal treatment. Massimo has been attentive at all times and has helped us since we arrived. The rooms are very correct and the location of the hotel is perfect to enjoy the surroundings. We will definitely be back!

25/09/2025: Average welcome. We wanted to have dinner the next day but were informed that the chef was away for a week. Very good accommodation - large room and small kitchen where it was possible to cook a little. We had a hot water problem but it was quickly resolved. We were very disappointed to have to share a terrace - which is not mentioned in the description. Otherwise the view is superb and the environment very peaceful.

17/08/2025: We spent a dream week at this agriturismo. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and have a functional kitchen equipped with everything we need. Upon our arrival, we found homemade jams and yogurt, simply delicious. In the evening, you can dine there, and every time it was an unforgettable experience: traditional Sardinian dishes, carefully prepared and truly delicious. Veronica, the owner, is always kind, helpful, and ready to make you feel at home. The agriturismo is surrounded by nature, in an oasis of peace with a splendid view of the hills and, in the distance, the sea. The ideal place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy life at the right pace. We can't wait to return!
