25/10/2024: The staff is incredibly nice, they listen to you and try to make your stance as best as possible. It's located in a relaxing area but you just have to walk for 10 minutes and you are in the center of Oristano. And the hotel has a big common area where you can make a lot of things

20/10/2024: We couldn't even finish the food, it was awful. The sandwiches were cold, the ones with meat were untouchable. When ordering a miniburger I expect at least the meat to be hot, lukewarm at best, but instead it seemed as if it had been cooked and left to rest in a fridge. The hot dog nauseated at first bite, also cold and flavorless, with an exaggerated amount of "plasticky" cheddar sauce. It is useless to comment on the choice of "bacon", which instead of adding flavour, ruined any dish in which it was inserted. You have a beautiful venue in your hands, with a strategic position and with a format that in my opinion is a winning one. It's a shame that you are showing that you don't care about all of this in the slightest.

21/09/2024: We missed our vacation in Spain. What a pleasure to find this brand again. Great beer, Tinto de Verrano and Spritz for €4, it's worth it. And the mini sandwiches between €1.50 and €2 (€1 on Wednesday) are very good, with small local specialties. We will come back!

14/10/2024: At €2.00 for a small espresso, this was the most expensive place we have ever visited in all of Italy! But nomen est omen, they probably wanted to compete with Café Florian in Venice - only the atmosphere there is much nicer! The arrogance of the waiters comes close!

18/09/2024: I have to give only one star because the restaurant is closed and no one bothered to update this status on Google, which instead always reports it as open. I went the other evening, they kindly pointed out to me that they didn't serve dinner, and while I was eating at the nearby restaurant, which was excellent and provided extremely kind treatment, I had to attend a private dinner right at the Baretto. Maybe we should be a little more clear with customers, because being bounced elsewhere with a few words crossed and then attending a private banquet, which is also very noisy, is not the best. Sin.

08/09/2024: Another excellent dinner at il Baretto. Thank you again. The spaghetti with violet shrimp and bottarga was and is perhaps one of the best pasta dishes I've ever enjoyed. Delicious croaker (think sea bass), tempura seafood, and tuna tartare. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏🏼 💙

08/10/2024: Unfortunately the waitress was alone and was visibly struggling to serve the entire room, but despite this she was very nice and kind. We sat down at 8.30pm, set the table around 9pm, a starter for 2 arrived at around 9.30pm, while at 10.30pm the 2 practically inedible fried dishes arrived: hard calamari, they crunched in the mouth, we barely finished the dish due to hunger, while I left half of it. While collecting our plates, the waitress asked us if everything was okay and we explained to her the inconvenience of frying and she replied that she was sorry and that if we had informed her beforehand she would have made us do them again, she was kind for goodness sake, but after two hours of sitting, still waiting, after having already waited 2 hours, we really didn't feel like it. The fried food was then frozen, €22 each and you left like that and I think that if we had done it again, we would most likely have had the same result. The starter was 4 TASTES on one of those dishes divided into 4 parts, it also seems like 22 euros. He offered us the next 2 grappas, let's say that it could also go, given that one dish was finished anyway. Maybe in periods with extra staff it's a different type of restaurant, but that's how it went for us.

13/04/2025: Heureuse découverte personnel souriant , serviable et très professionnel. Une cuisine excellente et très savoureuse à un prix plus que raisonnable. Nous avons prix en entrée une assiette de moule et ensuite un poisson frais préparé avec soin , un vrai délice. Pour un prix plus que correct avec le Digestif offert par la maison. Le meilleur qualité / prix de castelsardo. On reviendra c’est sur.

04/04/2025: Locale storico di Castelsardo, tavolo con vista meravigliosa sul castello. Spaghetti alle vongole un po' asciutti, tuttavia buoni. Ravioli ripieni di pesce e melanzane con carciofi buoni. Conto giusto.
