10/04/2025: I am editing my review because it is the only way I can respond to the owner. When we ordered the cardoncelli ravioli we asked if we could divide the portions but we were told that it was impossible due to the quantities. Therefore I took it for granted that the portion was a full portion also because when you served the dishes to us at the table we were not told that they were half portions. However, apart from this inconvenience, just to clarify, I left 5 stars because I enjoyed it. Below is my first review: The place is beautiful, I like the idea of ​​entering and passing through shelves and shelves of typical products before arriving in the table area, where the walls are filled with bottles of all kinds. The cuisine is divine as are the dishes and combinations of top quality ingredients. The starters as well as the first courses and desserts are delicious. Perhaps for the ravioli with cardoncelli and crispy bacon the quantity served would need to be revised, but for the rest everything was perfect.🔝🔝🔝

A place with attention to the smallest details, an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, excellent wine, excellent service, food in which the quality of the raw materials is enhanced... all accompanied by the welcome and friendliness of Antonio (the chef) and Daniele (the waiter). I had a really good time!

18/05/2025: Staff don't understand English. We asked for what looks like a mini pizza x2, we got a cold pizza for a price where we could have gotten a regular pizza. We sat outside and because the staff didn't remove food after customers immediately there were way too many pigeons eating pizza leftovers. It was really annoying. Not a special experience, we didn't eat here again on our holiday.

01/05/2025: Because of the Italian Labor Day holiday, my wife and I decided to explore parts of Martina Franco we’ve yet to see. During our 8 km’s walk, we came across Caffè Olivieri. As soon as we walked in, the typical Italian warmth we’ve become accustomed to, with smiles greeted us. We had coffee, some delicious dolce treats, including Gelatti! The dolce, and the Gelatti were just soooo delicious! Go and explore parts of Martina Franco and its hidden treasures. Caffè Olivieri is one of those hidden treasures❣️

12/05/2025: If you are in Taranto, passing through or for a short/long period, you cannot miss eating at Conte, a cuisine of fresh seafood. The restaurant next to the most renowned fishmonger in Puglia, boasts delicious dishes also thanks to the supply of this fishmonger, yesterday I stopped because both my wife and I wanted a nice seafood risotto, to say that it was excellent is an insult to excellence, we had seconds, before the risotto we also tasted three types of raw fish appetizers, sooooooo good. If you want to eat seafood, do not get lost in restaurants that have no tradition, go safe and you will not regret it. I am proof of this 😋

23/05/2025: Such a great place - a must go. Probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Italy - the cheese was so good, the tomato sauce - everything. The owner was also an absolute legend and very kindly and patiently listened to my horrible Italian.

02/05/2025: Delicious food!! Taken 'starters' in advance. Then a pizza each. That was way too much for us.... Ideal for people who want to eat gluten-free. Great atmosphere!! Lots of busy Italians. Fun for calm, down-to-earth cheeseheads to experience. English is very difficult for most staff. Luckily there was a staff member who spoke good English.

25/05/2025: We had dinner on Saturday evening in the late evening (10:30); after waiting 15 minutes for the reserved table. The food is truly excellent, both the pizzas and the sandwiches, good fried food. Good service, but a bit of a long wait considering the dinner in the late evening. The desserts were a good ending. The bill was also fair, 25 euros per person for a complete dinner. Recommended (except if you are in a hurry to eat).

16/05/2025: Pizza ottima. Molta scelta. Peccato che per furberia o per guadagnare Non so quanto non vendano la bottiglia di acqua grande ma bensì le bottigliette piccole. Si aggrappano a piccoli guadagni, beati loro.

11/05/2025: The best pizza I've ever eaten! Family-run restaurant in Pulsano (no centre). Typical environment with the famous arches, informal and relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious and have different types of dough. I also recommend it for celiacs if they want a good non-frozen pizza. Wood-fired oven and very fresh products. The desserts also made by them are very good. In short, try it and you will always go there!
