Masseria La Porticella In Avetrana

We stayed in Avetrana for three nights in June. The property is truly beautiful, a historic residence equipped with every comfort. The location is strategic for visiting the Ionian coast; all the most beautiful beaches are a 10-15 minute drive away. The masseria is family-run, and everyone is super kind and helpful. It's nice to see people who love their work and share it with their guests. Breakfast was excellent. For dinner, we ate fresh, well-cooked fish and drank local wine at a very reasonable price. Try the cavatelli allo scoglio (excellent), and the olive oil and honey from their farm! 😁

The true meaning of the word "welcome." A family passionate about their work who dedicates themselves to making this place (both hotel and restaurant) an oasis of beauty, peace, and warmth for their guests. Highly recommended.

A restaurant-only experience that I must say was excellent in every way: the welcome and service were professional and courteous, the customer service was excellent, and the food was prepared with fresh ingredients. Considering it was a fish-based menu, a tip: try the grouper ravioli; you'll be amazed. Next time we return, we're here on vacation, so we'll be back. Well done!
