04/01/2026: Today we went to Arcate with a group of 63 people and what can I say...everything was great. Felice, the owner, was super nice and helpful from the first contact, and today he confirmed he's a gentleman. The food was excellent, albeit simple but very well cooked. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean and well-kept. Thank you ♥️

11/08/2025: I'm sorry to hear that someone has called Bar Mirizzi "old and outdated." Sometimes, what some see as a flaw is a real strength for others! An oasis of authenticity far removed from passing fads. I disagree with those who have called this place "old and outdated." I think it's a grave misjudgment, because in an age where all bars look the same, standardized and impersonal, this place is a true gem. The classic decor and old-world atmosphere are not a flaw at all, but its greatest asset. Stepping in here is like taking a little journey into the past, where time seems to slow down. There's an air of authenticity and warmth that modern, minimalist venues can never match. The coffee is prepared with care and passion, with a rich, enveloping flavor that leaves no doubt about its quality. The same goes for the desserts, gelato, and the legendary Affogato, which taste "homemade" and reawaken childhood memories. Antonio and his family are always kind, professional, and attentive. They welcome you with a sincere smile and make you feel at home, far from rushed and superficial.

10/05/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance and took a dip into the past. It reminded me so much of restaurants from the 80s and 90s. First course, second course, side dish, wine, sorbet, coffee, and limoncello for €21. The value for money is unbeatable. Spaghetti alla tarantina is well-cooked, and the frying is golden brown. They have menus for €17, €22, and €27. Some dishes, understandably, have a €1-€3 surcharge. It's a shame I live a bit far away, I'd be a regular. If you don't have Michelin-starred expectations, it's a great choice for an excellent meal that's affordable.

02/06/2026: I celebrated my son's confirmation at this beautiful bar and was absolutely blown away. If you're looking for the perfect place for an intimate evening, with just a few people and a warm, private atmosphere, look no further. The highlight, besides the beautiful atmosphere, was undoubtedly the buffet and the lasagna (delicious). There are dishes for all tastes, from classic appetizers to truly delicious options. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Nothing is left to chance. Unlike typical aperitifs where the food disappears in a flash, here the portions were generous and constantly replenished. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and incredibly welcoming, making us feel pampered from start to finish. Ideal for birthdays, intimate graduation parties, or small events. The real turning point, however, was the attention paid to the guest with dietary needs: among the guests was a woman with celiac disease, and the owner (Leo) was able to handle the situation perfectly. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back for my next event.
