14/06/2026: It was supposed to be a day dedicated to good Apulian food, but unfortunately it turned out to be a huge disappointment. I live outside of Italy, and returning here, I wanted to enjoy excellent seafood and authentic Apulian cuisine with a sea view. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. The salmon tartare had a flavor reminiscent of tuna, which I found truly unusual and led me to avoid it for fear it wasn't in the best condition. To try to make up for it, I ordered rice, potatoes, and mussels, but for someone who has lived in Bari for 16 years, it was almost heartbreaking: the rice was overcooked, and the inside of the dish was semifreddo, as if it hadn't been properly regenerated. Fortunately, not everything was bad: the roasted octopus was well done, and the stuffed cuttlefish my friend ordered was also good. And that's precisely what leaves me even more perplexed. The location is beautiful, the staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, but the quality of the dishes didn't live up to the setting. I wonder why they offer such an extensive menu if they can't maintain a high standard of quality across all courses. It's a shame, because the potential is there. With more attention to the cuisine, it could become a truly excellent place.

13/06/2026: Unfortunately, the drinks consist more of ice and water than alcoholic ingredients. What is usually standard practice – getting something to nibble on with your drink – is nowhere to be found here.

Panzerotti of the highest quality, pizzas in my opinion rare if not impossible to find, professionalism and kindness of the staff 10 out of 10 and finally, very importantly, impeccable cleanliness, worth trying after which it becomes an addiction 💪

23/05/2026: It is all about the food. Perfection! The staff provided fast service and explained our food choices. We felt appreciated.

22/05/2026: I had higher expectations. The service was certainly attentive, and the staff were friendly and unobtrusive, but the menu was limited, with decent quality and small portions. I found some dishes quite salty (such as tartare), and some of the combinations didn't satisfy me at all.

02/05/2026: Last night we spent a pleasant evening at this excellent restaurant in San Pietro in Bevagna. The atmosphere was lovely, no crowds, good music, excellent food, and friendly service. The sea urchin appetizer and fried fish were all excellent.

11/12/2025: It's one of the best bakeries in Taranto, offering bread and focaccia, biscuits, and taralli. Every product is delicious, but the prices are a bit higher than other bakeries. I alternate it with three or four others I've already reviewed.

04/05/2026: We ate here tonight and it was truly delicious. From the moment we entered, we were welcomed very warmly and kindly by the host. We were then assisted by presumably his daughter, who advised us very well and honestly about the dishes. We started with a delicious starter featuring fresh vegetables and beautiful local produce. This was followed by a wonderful main course, accompanied by a nice glass of red wine. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and prepared with care. We also found the price-quality ratio to be very good. We received this restaurant as a tip ourselves, and we are happy to pass that tip on: highly recommended! We actually wanted to come back again tomorrow, but unfortunately, they will be closed then. On our next visit to Southern Italy / Puglia, we will certainly eat here again. Ciao Paulo
