Long wait for a second-round pizza. The pizzas ordered had ash on the bottom, but they were good. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Crowded and noisy. Outdoor parking needs to be found nearby. Reasonable prices.

We chose Open Theatre to celebrate our wedding with a hearty aperitif, our "Aperimonio," and we couldn't have asked for anything better. It's an elegant and evocative location, perfect for creating special moments. The refined atmosphere, meticulously designed spaces, and attentive, professional service made this day unforgettable. The food was excellent (the goulash was divine), the organization impeccable, and the setting, with an open-air theater, was truly enchanting. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making our day even more beautiful. Thank you, Andrea!

Extremely high quality and professionalism, a location with attention to detail. The pizza and puccia are spectacular!!! It's hard to choose between the two... and then there's a wide variety on the menu, delicious meats. Excellent location for parties and events, highly recommended. The staff is cheerful and friendly. Always busy, remember to book.

Very relaxed atmosphere, fast and discreet service. The pizza is good, but the puccia is even better. Excellent gluten-free puccia. The cheesecake with salted caramel is really good. Ample unattended outdoor parking. Recommended for an evening with friends and enjoying a good pizza or puccia.

A charming and elegant place, with fresh, perfectly cooked meat. Excellent table service and excellent value! Very nice atmosphere... All the staff were excellent, offering smiles, kindness, and cheerfulness from the moment you arrived until the end of the meal! I recommend going both in winter and summer for the outdoor evenings with good music and company, but I recommend booking because it's always very crowded. My friends and I will definitely be back!

Nice place, good appetizers, but the pizza is chewy... maybe the only time I couldn't finish a pizza. The price is reasonable for the location, but not for the food...

08/07/2026: The best panzerotto in all of Puglia (and I say this as a native of Puglia). The dough is perfectly soft and not greasy, and the filling is generous. For those with mozzarella inside, they put a whole mozzarella. Highly recommended if you're visiting Puglia!

10/03/2026: Good morning. Today, for my birthday, I wanted to celebrate with my partner at the La Gioia bar on Via Dante. I'll start by saying that the place isn't huge, but it's very welcoming, and the staff is very polite and dedicated to their work. We had the white lasagna with mushrooms, which was very delicate and not at all heavy. The rustici platter was plentiful and well-filled. To finish, we had zeppole and cookies filled with various creams. And then the spritz...what can I say? I've never had a spritz this good, made exactly how I like it...and best of all, it didn't float in ice!
10/03/2026: Aperitivo number 1. I haven't enjoyed such a good Aperol Spritz in years. Most bars in Taranto, and even other cities, water it down with lots of ice, and the Aperol is barely noticeable. The bartender, Angelo, knows how to measure the ingredients beautifully, and serves up an exceptional Aperol Spritz! The white mushroom lasagna was so good I asked for seconds. The rest of the platter was excellent. We finished with desserts prepared by the owner, from zeppiline to biscotti with pistachio and hazelnut cream. The price was even too fair. We'll definitely be back!
