29/10/2025: Welcoming restaurant, delicious appetizers and a wide variety of dishes with flavors from times gone by. For our first course, we chose orecchiette with cherry tomatoes, pumpkin, mushrooms, and pancetta, which were truly delicious, followed by meat with Aglianico sauce. Reassuring service from Salvatore, who gave us excellent advice. Definitely worth a try.

15/12/2025: A simple, spartan yet absolutely authentic atmosphere: one of those osterias where what really counts is what's on the plate. The quality-price ratio is excellent, and every course confirms your choice. The bruschetta in oil is a must-try, truly sublime, as are the flavorful and carefully prepared first courses. The menu is quite varied and includes typical local dishes, appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even pizzas, also available for takeout. Everything is well-made, tasty, and very reasonably priced. It's an ideal place for both lunch and dinner, perfect for those who want to eat well in a quiet, family-run environment. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and immediately puts you at ease. The food is good and the drinks even better, in a genuine and convivial atmosphere. Important note: they don't accept debit or credit cards, so it's best to bring cash. Don't miss the lady's homemade mandarinetto: a real treat that ends the meal in the best possible way. 09/10/2025: The only customers, we ordered the fish menu accompanied by a half-gallon pitcher of local white wine. Frankly excellent and fresh. I can't comment on the service in peak season, but today, no complaints. And the limoncello, too, the first time in over two weeks in Puglia. Seated on the back terrace, quiet except for the kitchen fan.

20/01/2026: Never again! Pure rudeness! The cappuccino wasn't hot, they insisted on remaking it, but what seems most absurd is the way they responded! The prices are exorbitant, anyway!

02/01/2026: The pizza isn't worth the price, it's poor quality, there's little toppings (almost none, obviously to save money), and it's a paltry 20cm x 20cm. Delivery arrives halfway, and the pizza isn't even cut, which shows they don't care about their customers. Last but not least, the drinks are expensive, for example, a liter of Coke costs €5, something I've never seen in other pizzerias.

16/11/2025: The wait was a bit long. The service wasn't impeccable (they didn't bring us plates to share the fries, nor glasses for wine; they only told us the arugula was out after we realized it was out). The staff was helpful. The food was overall good.

28/09/2025: We sat down for an aperitif. The location was good, but the service and the "owner" were rude.

28/08/2025: Upon arrival, we received an incredibly warm welcome and were allowed to check into our room early. The room is very simple and quite dated, and the bed linens were fresh, but there were still visible signs of dirt. The view, however, is fantastic. The parking lot is unfortunately a 10-minute walk away, but it's okay. The breakfast was delicious.

27/12/2025: What can I say... a truly fantastic experience! We visited this restaurant in December, and despite the season, it was completely packed: that alone speaks for itself. The welcome was warm and professional, the place was very well-kept and pleasant, but the real highlight was undoubtedly the food. Every dish we tried was excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The real highlight of the evening? The fusilloni with tuna and eggplant sauce: something indescribable, PHOTOTONIC, a must-try! And can we mention the fried fish? Light, crispy, and incredibly flavorful. A restaurant that wins you over in every way and is truly worth a visit. Highly recommended.

21/01/2026: A group of friends. The positive aspect is definitely the food: the pizza is good, as are the fried appetizers. However, the overall experience was marred by service management that definitely needs rethinking. ​Despite being practically the only customers at around 9:30 PM, For a table of 8, upon our first request, we were only served two sachets of sauce. We had to insist on one each. One of the pizzas was labeled coppa, but it was served with mortadella without any warning. There were problems with payment: despite the waitress having confirmed at the table that we could pay separately, when we went to pay at the cash register, we were refused payment. The reason given (excessive fees for electronic payments) was unprofessional, forcing one of us to pay the full amount for everyone, since we didn't all have the exact amount of cash. ​In short: the ingredients are there and they are good, but customer service and organization are fundamental aspects that are currently lacking. I hope they can improve, because the pizza is worth it.

12/12/2025: We're truly lucky to have this pizzeria close to home... The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, thanks in part to the friendly and genuine owner, who always welcomes you with a smile and a kind word. But the real star is the pizza: truly, truly excellent. The dough is incredibly light, long-rising, easy to digest, and fragrant. The ingredients are clearly of the highest quality, fresh and carefully selected, and you can taste it in every bite. A place to return to often.

07/12/2025: Il Caratino presents itself as a pleasant meeting place, thanks in large part to its location: the sea view is the only real highlight, creating a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant view. Otherwise, however, everything remains utterly mediocre. The cuisine isn't surprising; the dishes are ordinary and lacking in character, and the service leaves little to be desired. This is a place that could offer much more, but it's simply "passable." In short: a good place to meet and enjoy the view, but not for those seeking quality or a true gastronomic experience.
