24/08/2025: Very high prices and quite unfriendly. 20 euros for an umbrella and only one deck chair...I was there alone. The lady was very unfriendly and didn't like my German accent...the boy next door was embarrassed by the way the witch spoke to me...I could tell by the look on his face. Unfortunately, I had no other choice, as the lido where I usually go (Pantarei) was full. By the way, I always pay 10-12 euros there, and the guys are always super friendly. Unfortunately, I have to give one star...zero is impossible.

19/08/2025: It would be nice to give zero stars but it can't. The bar staff is rude and ill-mannered, as is the lady who takes care of the umbrellas. The bathrooms are always dirty. They don't have prosecco at the bar so you can't get a spritz, they don't even have Coke Zero. Long waits even for a coffee. I recommend you change your job given your rudeness and this job isn't for you.

08/03/2026: The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. Its excellence stems from its varied cuisine, which is, above all, meticulously prepared. I recommend the troccoli with tuna tataki, topped with straciatella and pistachio pesto. A+++

07/12/2025: Il Caratino presents itself as a pleasant meeting place, thanks in large part to its location: the sea view is the only real highlight, creating a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant view. Otherwise, however, everything remains utterly mediocre. The cuisine isn't surprising; the dishes are ordinary and lacking in character, and the service leaves little to be desired. This is a place that could offer much more, but it's simply "passable." In short: a good place to meet and enjoy the view, but not for those seeking quality or a true gastronomic experience.

13/03/2026: Unprecedented experience: upon arrival, almost annoyed welcome, they gave us the menu and shortly after asked us if we were ready but our answer was no, despite this shortly after, pressure at the table to take the order.... Ok we ordered a braised beef and a rigatoni with fried eggplant and cream of caciocavallo..... Well, we received a meat in broth and a pasta stuck together excessively al dente and instead of caciocavallo there was cooking cream. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

08/09/2025: A well-kept, modern, and stylish venue, with excellent appetizers, meats, beers, and wines that are highly recommended. Finally, there's the pizza, her majesty, fantastic with its crusty crust, or, if you prefer, a thin crust version. I highly recommend this pub, 10+.

27/12/2025: You order a cappuccino and a croissant, and the croissant arrives hot. Then, after a long, long time, when the croissant is cold, the cappuccino arrives only because you've urged the (rude) staff countless times. Rather, bring everything very slowly but together. I won't add anything else.

31/10/2025: One of the best campsites in Europe: shaded, with spotlessly clean facilities, a restaurant, a market, and, most importantly, a free beach without umbrellas and no entertainment. Let's hope it stays that way.

16/10/2025: A LARGE CAMPSITE Very strict reception. You have to wait until 4:00 p.m. to be pitched, so there's not really a choice, even though the campsite is practically empty. To respect this "quiet time," cars and scooters should be stopped from leaving, and maintenance staff should be prevented from driving around in trucks and collecting trash!!! The pitches are quite large, flat, under the trees, and unmarked. Easy access and the site is away from the busy road. You need a vehicle because it's far from everything and 12 km from Vieste. The setting is pretty, with a beautiful pebble beach with very easy access (contrary to some reviews). Very nice bar and restaurant. Modern and clean restrooms. No hot water for washing dishes. The toilets should be equipped with brushes! The price is reasonable: €23.00 with an ACSI card, but you don't have the right to the front rows by the sea, and they don't even offer them for an extra charge!
