08/06/2025: We had a wonderful lunch today. I can't understand the occasional negative reviews about the service. Actually, that was the highlight for us. The pizzas were also excellent. We'll definitely be back.

24/08/2025: The place is truly beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail and a charming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food doesn't live up to the ambiance: average, lacking any particular originality or flavors that stand out. But the real problem is the price, which is completely disproportionate to what's on offer.

23/08/2025: We cannot miss visiting Da Franco every time we are in Ceglie! Amazing place! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing vibe! Franco - the owner - is very professional. And all the staff too! I truly recommend visiting this place. The wine list is extensive.

06/07/2025: I had been advised against it, but I like to judge for myself. Paccheri with scampi left with all the intestines; the owner confirmed to me that for them it's fine like this and if the customer doesn't want it he has to remove it himself. We ordered marinated anchovies as an appetizer, they arrived 2 times and 2 other times we were asked if we had received them. Total confusion and disorganization. Only the only female waitress seems to master her job. I hope she finds a more rewarding place for her qualities, and I speak as a restaurateur.

03/07/2025: Great atmosphere with direct sea views. Delicious traditional fish dishes. Prices are perfectly reasonable compared to other restaurants. Top-notch service. We'd be happy to return.

23/08/2025: We stopped at this place for an aperitif, not having the menu displayed on the price list, we ordered some drinks, we asked for something to eat with the aperitif (we received some old taralli, peanuts without spoons, olives without toothpicks. All inside some coffee cups 🤔. When we get to the bill, he gives us the receipt without calling. I do not recommend it

14/07/2025: While the website may seem like you can book, if you call, you can't. They tell you to show up at the beach, but if you're from out of town and have to drive, it becomes complicated. So they tell you to ask the morning of the day you want to go (presumably telling you there won't be any problems with the umbrella and that it will be available). You text them in the morning asking if it's available, and they get back to you hours later telling you that no umbrella is available (and thanks to...).

14/07/2025: We'd been trying to call for days and even offered to pay in advance, but until the day before, he'd been telling us to contact him to book. The morning we wanted to go, we called and texted, and hours later, he responded saying he wasn't available. Terrible management, and no consideration for someone who might be visiting from out of town and can't come to the office to book.

07/07/2025: Sono stato con mia famiglia è abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Abbiamo scelto solo degli antipasti (buonissime) e poi le Lasagnette (ottime) insieme a un bicchiere di vino consigliato. 🥂👌💪

27/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo posto sabato 26, attratti dalle recensioni e della menzione Michelin. Premetto che non è il primo ristorante che ha la menzione Michelin, ma non capisco davvero le ragioni a questo punto. Il posto di per sé è carino, nulla da dire! Il problema è tutto il resto... L'offerta prevede dei menù degustazioni e la scelta di piatti "à la carte". Abbiamo preso due secondi di carne ( che a questo punto mi sembra di capire che non sia il loro punto di forza), che non avevano nulla di gustoso, nulla. Ho preso una guancia di manzo che praticamente è arrivata già tiepida e una tomahawk di vitello che era inguardabile nella cottura ed era coperta da una simil patatina che doveva avere un sapore di nocciola, ma non si percepiva nulla, accompagnato da scaglie di tartufo ( anche quello senza sapore). Non è la prima volta che andiamo in un ristorante che ha la menzione, né tantomeno la prima volta che mangiamo di a tomahawk. L'entree di benvenuto erano dei tarallini e dei grissini, neanche poi così tanto freschi. Abbiamo preso 2 calici di vino, perché anche i prezzi delle bottiglie erano assolutamente sproporzionati. Capisco che i prezzi siano leggermente lievitati giustificati da una menzione "Michelin", si è consapevoli, ma non accetto di aver scelto e evitato i posti più turistici per mangiare qualcosa che non ha nulla di eccezionale e che non giustifica assolutamente la menzione. 2 secondi di carne e 2 calici = 77 € Prima ed ultima volta!

06/06/2025: Today as a conclusion of the holiday we ate at Gli Acrchi. What a delicious food and very friendly people. We took the traditional Puglia starter, with a variety of vegetables, pizza, squid and other delicacies. As a main course a good pizza and pasta with langoustines. Really recommended for this region

11/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the heart of Mesagne's historic center, a very quiet area. Recommended for an aperitif after lunch or dinner.

08/06/2025: If you want a coffee go get it elsewhere... the only bar that doesn't serve coffee at the table (only at the counter they told me) and they don't even know how to explain it!!

08/08/2025: I thought it was impossible to eat badly in Italy… but they went out of their way to prove me wrong. The stuffed eggplant, served still frozen, seemed to have spent a long time in an industrial freezer, possibly for over a year. It was unpalatable to eat. When I told the restaurant staff about it, they not only offered no solution, but insisted on charging me the full price. The supposed fava bean puree did not contain any fava beans at all; it was instant mashed potatoes. The bread balls, on the other hand, dissolved in the tomato sauce as quickly as a biscuit dipped in a cappuccino, leaving an unpleasant sensation on the palate. All in all, a memorable experience, but only for the wrong reasons

04/08/2025: Place it’s very nice! The food is bad to bad. The pasta sauce tastes like for the can to you plate. Very disappointing the first time I ate bad in Puglia. For 3 plates plus water and € 71 😡 don’t

29/07/2025: T H A R G is a compliment. The "appetizers" consisted of undrained pickled vegetables straight from the industrial jar, the eggplant and zucchini were mushy, the "cured meats" were purple, almost black, for the cheeses; let's forget about them. The pizzas were completely burned and left on the table. The bill was unspeakable, considering what was served. Unlucky evening?

30/05/2025: Sabato, 24 maggio, ci siamo recati in questa struttura per inaugurare la stagione estiva prendendo il tradizionale gelato . Nulla da ridire sulla qualità del gelato. Ma ciò che mi ha lasciata allibita è stata la completa scortesia con cui siamo stati trattati quando abbiamo effettuato il pagamento . Una ragazza che lavora ha malamente redarguito mio padre, una persona di 80 anni, che aveva dato una banconota da 10 euro, su cui mancava un piccolo pezzo lateralmente. Non un pezzo della matrice delle banconota ma ribadisco un piccolo pezzo laterale . Ok, mi va bene che si chieda di dare un’ altra banconota ma con modi decisamente più garbati . Se i clienti si trattano cosi ,si rischia di perderli, nonostante un ottimo gelato, Veramente delusa da certi atteggiamenti.

29/05/2025: Nice place, near the Imperial Palace in the center of the beautiful square of Latiano (br) Friendly and well-mannered staff. Not just a bar, also a small restaurant, for lunch, with genuine products at honest prices. The very refined and welcoming decor!

10/05/2025: We are a group of cyclists, even with dietary needs, so two of the group asked for a "coke" with two glasses, obviously we also ordered others. This request was followed by a denial from the waitress: "it's not possible...." We were about to get up, then to avoid starting a controversy we stayed and ordered two cokes, so one more than we needed. Next time we will go to the BAR opposite...
