13/10/2025: Friday evening we had dinner with friends. Excellent restaurant, very friendly staff, fast service, fresh fish, generous appetizers, everything was delicious. We'll be back.
04/09/2025: First of all, we have to thank Mirco the tobacconist for recommending this place to us, even calling to ask if they had room for two people and our four-legged friend. Kindness is disappearing everywhere these days, but not in San Michele.
Fortunato is the host—I say "host" because as soon as you walk in, you feel like you're at home. The seafood menu is impeccably prepared, the extensive menu makes you smile with every course, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is incredibly kind.
I thank Fortunato again, and as I told him, we were the lucky ones.
A heartfelt thank you to him and all the staff for a wonderful and enjoyable evening.
Thank you, and see you next time.

31/10/2025: Leonardo is the best bartender, the staff here is Great beautiful location and grounds i am here every year. The food has fluctuated, the first couple times I ate here it was amazing the last time I was here to eat we did the tasting menu it was very disappointing. I imagine its hard to keep chefs when you are seasonal so they have probably gone through a few chefs. So I will give it another chance at some point, but in the meantime I will be there religiously for Leonardo and his amazing drinks and atmosphere!!
11/10/2025: American vibe with old town, comfort but American prices and tips expected. I was a little taken back when I paid the bill. I felt like it was definitely overpriced for the area and I typically only like to go to local Italian places. If you want the local Italian vibe do not go here. There are so many places in this area that you can go to dinner, but if you want the USA vibe drink cost, etc. this is not my idea of Italy.

23/10/2025: Top-notch pizza, we couldn't finish it all, all for a very reasonable price with the wine.
Luckily, the young owner offered us a Doby Bag, which we were delighted to win.
A very good address.
21/10/2025: My husband’s pasta was delicious but my pork was mediocre. I tried waiting to see if they would ask how it was, but not until the very end.

16/10/2025: The atmosphere, interior design, location, cleanliness in the restaurant and restroom were fantastic! The waiter did his best, as he was the only one there... That's all a plus.
The menu is only in Italian, although I didn't hear anyone among the customers speaking it at the time. We ordered pasta with clams and a pizza. Both were so salty, they looked like they'd just been taken out of the harbor. About a third of the clams on the plate were empty shells.
I highly recommend it.

25/08/2025: Rudeness at the highest levels and little assortment of desserts (also overvalued compared to other nearby places) Place in the peripheral area very dark and cold. High prices for the quality and service offered. Avoid!
22/06/2025: Dimly lit place, friendly but cold and detached staff (strange considering the usual Apulian welcome), slow restocking of breakfast pastries.

05/10/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner based on the good reviews. We were greeted by a very friendly young man. However, the waiter who took our order and served us was very unfriendly. The food was very good, the pizza excellent. Good value for money. A place we recommend nonetheless.

21/08/2025: Extremely long wait times (about 2:30 hours from when we sat down)... They came back later to tell us that the order hadn't been passed to the kitchen.
Then, even before the pizzas arrived, they came to the table saying there was no fior di latte.
The drinks were already warm... And after a very long wait, the pizzas finally arrived: good, but burnt on the crust.
A highly appreciated location!

21/09/2025: What can I say? Everything was perfect, except for the day itself: excellent quality from the raw fish, to the starters, to the fried fish, to the desserts. Good value, and the staff were kind and attentive. 💯
15/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant with friends. A simple yet elegant place nestled against a cliff with a breathtaking view. The entire seafood menu was an explosion of flavors. Everything was exceptional, from the appetizers, including the raw seafood, to the tagliolini with scampi and sea urchin pulp and gnocco with clams and basil, finishing with a fabulous and tasty mixed fried fish and mixed grilled seafood.
Kudos to the owners, who were incredibly kind and professional, and who looked after us from start to finish.
A special mention goes to the wait staff.
Definitely a place to consider for future reunions and beyond.
