12/09/2025: Fabulous fish restaurant with a covered terrace right by the sea. Staff were lovely and helpful. There was a good selection of seafood and fish options on the menu. I had salt baked sea bream which was amazing (owner brought the whole fish out to show me and to ask about cooking and presentation preferences) and my husband had fried calamari and prawns, all wonderfully fresh. Good wine choice too and delicious sides and bread. Spotless facilities. All in all a wonderful lunch experience before heading to the next door beach for a siesta. Highly recommend.

05/07/2026: I purchased packaged cookies for my daughter's baptism, agreeing from the start on a specific price that included the packaging (30 jars, weighed for a predetermined amount). However, when we picked them up, we were surprised: each jar cost almost €2 more, for a total significantly higher than agreed upon. It wasn't the first time this had happened: a month earlier, for another order of sweets, we had been given an additional tray we hadn't requested, and naturally, we were charged for it. The owner's behavior was disappointing: she gave confusing and unreliable explanations, including that the packaging wasn't included, when in fact the "all-inclusive" price had been clearly agreed upon when we placed the order. I regret leaving a negative review, but I feel it's fair to point out the lack of transparency in the handling of the agreements. I won't repeat this experience. REGARDING YOUR RESPONSE: I'm sorry to read a response like this, especially the accusation that I'm "making things up." I have no interest in doing so, and my review simply reflects my experience. When ordering, a specific price had been agreed upon for 30 jars, including packaging. If the price had indeed been subject to weight variations, it would have been appropriate to communicate this clearly before collection, rather than presenting a final bill almost €50 more than agreed upon. I also recall that the staff on hand even offered to weigh the jars to get back within the agreed price, a sign that the price difference had been acknowledged on the spot. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident: on a previous occasion, I had already been charged for a tray I hadn't requested. This is why I spoke of a lack of transparency, certainly not to discredit your craftsmanship, which I have never questioned. Reviews also serve to provide constructive feedback. I would have expected a respectful discussion or an apology for the mix-up, not personal accusations. In any case, I hope this experience can serve as a starting point for managing agreements with future customers more clearly.

14/04/2026: The best restaurant in Mesagne! Incredible pizzas, especially the braciola, you can't miss it; they make fresh pasta in many different ways. All the food is homemade, prepared with love and top-quality ingredients. We usually get takeout, but we've also eaten there, and it's a spotlessly clean and pleasant place. The ortolana and mushroom pizzas are our favorites, but they're all amazing! And you can't miss their desserts, either. It's a family business, with exquisite service, kindness, and expertise you won't find anywhere else. They're wonderful people, and everything made with love and heart tastes better. It's like going to your grandparents' house! 🩷🥰

27/06/2026: It's one of those places where you can sample traditional cuisine made with high-quality ingredients. The appetizers are plentiful and varied, and the first course I tried (spaghettoni) was good, although the almond flavor deserved more prominence. As for the main courses, depending on personal preference, the meat was a bit overcooked, and the fried fish was plentiful, but the breading didn't always have the necessary crispiness. The staff was friendly and helpful.

07/03/2026: Farina 32 Ostuni tennis club...we went tonight, and if I'd read the reviews first, I wouldn't have gone. The only redeeming feature is the pizzas: good, tasty...then the endless wait, and the waiters were incompetent. The guy taking the orders was probably placed there randomly. There were five of us, and we ordered two Neapolitan fried cuoppi, and some montanare, but the guy said, "No, we don't do those," without any further explanation. So I said, "Well, why don't you take them off the menu?" I asked for chicken nuggets for the little girl, and politely asked without chili sauce, but maybe if he could add some fries, and he said, "OK." We then ordered five pizzas. After a good 45 minutes and several reminders, the fried foods arrived...the only edible thing was the arancini, the rest was all frozen, not even warm, rubbery, and there was nothing Neapolitan about it. Maybe you've never been to Naples to eat. Naggets Without chips... my daughter starts eating them and at a certain point spits out saying "what is this stuff?" There was chili inside... so I always call the order boy and point out that I had asked for naggets without chili for the daughter and he, without a minimum of humility and courtesy, says to me "but these are not things we prepare, I wrote without chili but I didn't know it was in there... can't you find out? What if someone was intolerant now? You would have killed them but then in the kitchen how do you not notice?... and he kept saying that he didn't know what was on the menu, without saying "excuse me, I'll take it away" I ask the kitchen for something else etc... ridiculous. Then the pizzas...an eternity to get them, from 8pm when we arrived, we got them at 9:40pm.....we had to ask several times since there was also a 3-year-old girl at the table who needed to eat....and considering that when we arrived there were only three other tables.....afterwards it filled up and I can't imagine how long the others waited to eat. In any case, there are definitely better places in Ostuni, where courtesy and customer service are honored but above all, attentive to customer requests, with waiters with a minimum of common sense. If they don't change management, I don't think you'll last long. I definitely won't be going back.

04/06/2026: The campsite that stole our hearts. What a lovely, cozy, child-friendly, well-equipped family campsite. I have rarely encountered such pleasant staff. Everyone greets you and is helpful. Front desk employee Danielle speaks fluent Dutch and her colleagues speaks English. Cozy bar with excellent coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream. Restaurant with a decent selection at low prices. Large, clean swimming pool and children's pool €3 per day; swimming caps are available for €2. Camping shop, washing machine, Free Wifi, possibility to freeze cool packs. Enough sanitary facilities with hot showers that are also cleaned twice a day. Free power hookups everywhere. Our cable was too short. I was allowed to borrow a cable from the campsite without extra charge. The beach along the camping is clean and there is continuous supervision by a lifeguard. There is also a beach bar with sunchairs. All the highlights in the Puglia region are reachable within about half an hour. We were allowed to choose a place in advance. We were a bit hesitant after reading other reviews. It was noticeable that this commentary concerned guests who were here outside the season. We didn't recognize any of this, but we were here in May/June. Because we liked it so much, we stayed longer. Absolutely recommended, Hans & Klara Paternotte Nederland

30/04/2026: A pleasant campsite, a little dated and a bit too compact. A little more space between campers, caravans, etc. would be nice. Parking outside is a bit inconvenient, and the walking distance is unnecessarily long. The self-service restaurant on site is good.

17/05/2026: Truly excellent pastry shop! Fresh products, beautiful to look at, and above all, delicious. The real star, however, was the cake: simply the best! Beautiful, with attention to detail, and an exceptional flavor. My compliments, we'll definitely be back!
