Excellent meat, perfectly cooked before your eyes and served with extreme skill by very kind staff. Finally, the prices, although not cheap, are absolutely advantageous compared to the quality of the product you benefit from.

Every year I decide to celebrate my birthday here Alessandro always surprises me with new menus and new ingredients. I would certainly tell you to always start with the appetizer proposals, they are a foretaste of the Apulian traditions, a good first course (it varies according to the seasonality of the food) I love all the first courses he offers with pumpkin or turnips and you cannot give up the 'Extensive tasting of quality meat and exquisite desserts. The price is proportionate to the quality of the food. The service is quick and professional. Super recommended

14/01/2025: A place where I always come back with pleasure, the grilled meat is really good, from the strips of foal to the sausage, passing through a cut and a stick of picanha, not to mention the excellent wood-fired pizza. A warm and welcoming place with truly trained and very courteous staff, the owner always very kind and helpful. The cost always leaves you satisfied considering the courses ordered. We'll see you again soon at Taverna del Cappio!

The confirmation of all this is given by the many customers who, especially at the weekend, as per tradition, form very long queues in front of the pastry shop. Simply super. 10/02/2025: Conoscevo già i buonissimi sospiri che fanno in varie pasticcerie di Bisceglie… Ma quelli che abbiamo preso al bar Cattedrale nel centro storico sono meravigliosi, insuperabili, indimenticabili 😅

03/02/2025: Great-amazing restaurant! We went for New Years. The New Year's menu was 7 courses or a little more. We enjoyed everything so much that after dinner we could easily eat again. Maybe it was the whole thing, huh! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

30/12/2024: Domenica sera a Trani in inverno, pochi ristoranti aperti, questi pochi sono turistici (mille piatti, menu in plurime lingue, adescatore all'ingresso), quindi la scelta cade su EraOra: locale accogliente, curato, menù con pochi piatti ricercati. Fino a qui le aspettative sono ottime. Il primo piatto ordinato é stato quello più deludente, le friselle erano quelle del supermercato, in puglia si trovano (o di possono cucinare a casa) friselle qualitativamente facilmente, qui ci hanno servito delle piccole due friselle che si trovano anche nei supermercati del Nord. In un locale così ricercato, mi aspetto una frisella più interessante. In entrées grissini, pane e un olio ottimo. I primi: -Troccoli con cozze e muggine: ottimo abbinamento, un po' meno l'esecuzione. Il piatto era salatissimo (ho visto anche altre recensioni che lo dicevano), la cozza era di buona qualità, ma stracotta. Il broccolo mi é sembrato comprato e non fatto nel ristorante, poco legato al condimento. -Ragù di polpo: buono, ma non squisito. -Frittura di calamari: presumibilmente fatta da loro partendo da pesce fresco, buona. Conclusioni: il locale prova ad essere un ristorante di alta cucina: piatti ricercati, porzioni piccole, prezzi alti, staff molto a modo, ma offre piatti qualitativamente imperfetti, che ti aspetti in un'osteria a modico prezzo. Lo staff era molto gentile, ma mi sono mancati dei sorrisi. Ci tornerei? Per adesso no, ma tra qualche anno volentieri, quando avranno deciso se abbassare i prezzi e diventare un'osteria, oppure alzare l'asticella realmente evitando scivoloni come quello della frisella.

14/03/2025: It's difficult to find kindness of this level. We placed an order for small packs of oil to use as favors for a communion and during transport one bottle lost and stained 7/8 packs which were not usable. I asked the oil mill to be able to have the empty packages and a small bottle that had been consumed and wasted. Everything was sent to me for free, without asking for a contribution and on top of that they gave me two more packages identical to the ones purchased. As if that wasn't enough I was told to write if I still needed it. What else to say... There are very few companies (and people) that have this work philosophy now! All the compliments possible! 02/03/2025: It is a mixed place, the location is lovely and the servers were nice HOWEVER - the food tried to be sophisticated but lacked in execution, either too salty or buttery creamy or missed the point. and the price was too high in our opinion for the food, . Looks like others had a good experience maybe this was an off day for them

11/02/2025: Beautiful place, it hits you in the heart. We went to a birthday lunch. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the atmosphere, to the welcome, to the food. Attention to the customer who heats up. Dishes with peaks of excellence. Not only do I recommend it but I am sure I will return.
