27/07/2025: The food was good, though the prices were a bit high, as was the service, which was rather slow and expensive. We actually brought a cake from outside, as the restaurant didn't have one, and paid a €2.00 supplement per person for just cutting the cake, in addition to the regular cover charge. We weren't informed of this amount when we booked, even though we informed the management.

15/12/2025: The name is spot on! Really bad, impossible to get worse! I went here for lunch with friends, and what can I say... I'm speechless! The place is really small, almost claustrophobic. The food was (perhaps) well-cooked, but the ingredients were absolutely subpar! We had a fish menu, and the fish (and I'm a professional) was old, frozen, and not of good quality. Perhaps the meat menu would have been better... My experience is absolutely negative.

14/03/2026: Terrible food quality... terrible service... It's midnight and the pizza still hasn't arrived! The kids have fallen asleep and won't eat. We didn't leave only because they demanded prepayment for the set menu. Never again!!!

18/02/2026: I had a positive experience at this grill restaurant in the Patalini area of ​​Barletta. The atmosphere is simple but elegant, with plenty of seating. The menu is varied, including appetizers, side dishes, sandwiches, and meat dishes. The prices are very reasonable, as is the quality of the ingredients. I had the grilled dog, and I must say I enjoyed it, although I expected a few more pieces. Definitely worth a try.

I ordered three house sandwiches, No. 3, with the cheddar removed and cheese added to one sandwich, plus a No. 2 meat sandwich. After picking them up and returning home, we noticed a very serious mistake. We had three No. 3 sandwiches, all with mozzarella, and one sandwich with prosciutto and mozzarella. He made a mistake on all the sandwiches. I'm disappointed because I've been coming here for many years and have never seen this kind of mistake.

24/05/2026: A terrible experience, totally disorganized. The highlight was finding a shrimp tail covered in almonds in the plate of fries. Luckily, I noticed it, as one of the other diners at the table has a shellfish allergy. I wouldn't recommend this place, which is a shame because it wasn't our first time there and we had good memories, but after tonight, we won't be setting foot there again.

14/05/2026: The food was very good and the prices very reasonable. In other words, the value for money was excellent. The homemade, fresh bread served with the appetizer and first course was truly world-class, as was the homemade dessert. The service was incredibly friendly! If we come back to Trani, we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend La Bodeguita.

02/05/2026: So we called and booked for the second sitting at 2:30 PM on the 1st of May, the day of the kite festival. The mistral wind was blowing strongly, so when they assigned us the outside table with two children, we asked to be seated inside. The answer was a firm no, even though there was a large table inside where they seated a couple. Okay, okay, it's a holiday and they're very busy, but we ate in a hurry and didn't enjoy anything because it was very cold and the children were freezing. That said, the first courses on the menu were clearly precooked and overcooked, but all in all, it's better than a kick in the face.

Experienced on April 26th, my husband, my daughter, and I. A nice place, nothing extraordinary, but just right for a bite to eat. They asked us to make reservations because they run two shifts, and of course, on Sundays, these places always get crowded regardless. We booked for 12:30 and promptly sat down at the table. The fixed menu, either land or sea, costed €20. We chose sea food. The appetizer consisted of two 5cm bruschetta slices with a mini portion of seafood salad (just 4 black mussels and 5 strips of cuttlefish). After a bit of a wait, the cavatelli with seafood arrived (one shrimp, 5 black mussels, lots of tiny clams, and a couple of mini squid rings). The whole thing wasn't very tasty. My husband found a stone on his plate that, while eating with a fork (the only one he had for the whole meal), he couldn't get it out of his mouth, and we avoided him breaking his teeth (imagine if he'd picked it up with a spoon 😱). We called the waiter, who apologized and told us that it wasn't the first time this had happened and that it meant the fish wasn't frozen. We wanted to speak to the owner, but he didn't come out until the end of the meal when we had to pay. However, at our request, we had our plate changed, then we moved on to the second course where there was cuttlefish or prawns. We had cuttlefish, but they were two small cuttlefish that deserved to be thrown back into the sea (small ones), while at the following tables, real cuttlefish as big as the plate arrived (we called to get an explanation and he told us that they had run out of small ones and had to use the large ones (I repeat that all the tables were part of the first round of reservations)) The service of the guys serving the tables was initially relaxed and friendly, then when, in addition to our table, other less than pleasant incidents occurred. They panicked and were rude. Furthermore, having miscalculated the time, they were also harassed by the people outside who were obviously pushing to get a seat. A little anecdote: the table next to us, after the first one, got up to smoke, leaving their bag and jacket behind. When they returned, they found their table cleared away, all the wine, plates, and cutlery taken away, leaving them shocked. 😂😂😂

After all, if the place is crowded, there must be a reason. High quality and price, bordering on failure! All those who leave negative reviews have serious prejudices against this place... Go eat the focaccia Barese on the beach, and above all, respect the people who work hard to make you feel at home!!!!!! Compliments to the staff! P.S. 08/03/2026: Clean place, courteous and friendly staff, excellent food, the only flaw is the slow service; we had to wait a long time for a starter and main course, but I have no complaints about everything else.
