Malepeggio Food & Drink In Barletta

Had dinner here last night. Loved the outside space. Everyone had a good time in the relaxed atmosphere.

The atmosphere is disappointing at first glance, but then welcoming. The food is family-style, unsophisticated, and feels like eating at home. Examples include various crostini served throughout the meal, both plain and with beans; a prosciutto appetizer; a lovely burrata; spaghetti alla marinara, with mantis shrimp, and scampi; all home-style cooking, served in the same simple way; and very fresh fried food, although in my opinion not enough when shared between three; it would have been better if served for two. Of course, it also depends on the menu and your budget; not knowing the cost, my judgment might be too subjective. Overall, I can say I was satisfied.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and truly delicious food with generous portions. Highly recommended!
