10/08/2024: The perfect place in which to taste a range of culinary emotions, from excellent appetizers accompanied by cocktails prepared by a truly skilled barman, to second courses of meat or fish accompanied by selected wines. We returned choosing different foods from the first time but the result does not change: highly recommended place. This time we also had a mouth-watering dessert. Courteous and helpful staff. 30/07/2024: Ho scoperto questa chicca grazie ai miei amici. Ormai è diventato il nostro punto di ritrovo in città. La location, a due passi dal centro storico, è accogliente e curata in ogni dettaglio. Apprezzo tantissimo la carta dei vini, che accontenta tutti e permette di scoprire sempre nuove proposte. Essere guidati nella scelta ci fa sentire coccolati. Sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa anche dagli antipasti; una nota di merito ai bocconcini di baccalà pastellati, un'esplosione di gusto. Se, come me, siete fan della cheesecake, quella con frutti rossi e meringhe è la migliore che io abbia assaggiato. Imperdibile.

08/07/2024: Pasquale, without trying to convince anyone, told us about the wines of Puglia, let us taste the Moscato di Trani, recommended good and inexpensive wines, directed us to the best! And this evening with the burrata from Caseificio Lo Caputo in Conversano (BA) we tasted a fabulous, chic rosé (as Pasquale defined it).... unforgettable!

15/08/2024: When my first day of vacation collides with Lupo di Mare's last working day, what can result is a terrible lunch. Fried paranza with 2-3 variations. It is NOT "paranza". I asked for fried calamari and prawns and it did NOT arrive. After insistence, we were indignantly brought a miserable, bare, sad earthenware saucer with 4, miserable, bare, sad prawns costing €1 each... 2 cans, 1 water. What struck me most is the service. 5 staff, just one smile from one passing by...A plate literally thrown on my table without even a word from a distracted waitress gives a good idea that those people there no longer wanted to be there. So I'll leave this review. Before going to Lupo di Mare, find out if and when it will close for holidays. P.S. We digested the fried food the next morning. (Frozen calamari) The only photo is of the only edible thing. To forget

09/08/2024: Ottimi piatti di pesce fresco. Conosciuto anche il proprietario, persona simpaticissima e competente. Ci siamo stati prima a cena e poi a pranzo. Vicinissimo al centro storico.

07/07/2024: Location suggestiva all’interno di un antico palazzo nel cuore di Trani, mise en place elegante così come pure le tovaglie in lino. Ogni portata curata nei minimi dettagli, dalla scelta dei prodotti all’impiattamento, non poteva mancare una bollicina di una cantina pugliese consigliata dallo chef, veramente ottima. Però un piatto mi porterò sempre nel cuore: il tortello di melanzane con salsa di datterini gialli e ragù di pesce bianco, una vera delizia! Lo chef Domenico, una persona speciale, l’amore per la sua terra trapela da ogni parola che dice e soprattutto da ogni suo piatto. Complimenti

09/05/2024: Bravi Ragazzi! Focaccia e taralli buonissimi a prezzi onestissimi. Ci siamo fermati di passaggio a Trani e questo panificio ha coronato il nostro pranzo. Davanti al porto sorseggiando una buona birra pugliese insieme ad una focaccia ai pomodori. TOP! Ragazzi molto disponibili e cordiali. Andateci subito!

29/08/2024: Great location to enjoy local recipes and in my opinion the best restaurant in Puglia. This place is a must when visiting bisceglie. Their variety of local recipes will take your breath away. The food is excellent and made with passion. Once you arrive just ask for whatever they have that day. The food is fresh and the recipes are savoury. Compared to other places in that zone, the prices are incredibly low compared to the quality of their food.
