05/02/2025: We where there in late August 2024, the place is not to large always full, we dine in. Friendly stuff! The pizza, well, that is another story: one world bellisimo, more than bellissimo! My friends, is a must to try a great vero Italian pizza! Recomend!

22/01/2025: The terrace is certainly enchanting overlooking the Port of Trani, but the interior rooms are of an epochal refinement in a maritime style, characteristic to say the least, the welcome is superlative and the food is exquisite, fresh fish and particular Apulian wines. Definitely coming back.

19/02/2025: When we arrived it was before normal dining hours and only bar was open. However waiter was very polite and he organized a dinner for us. Food was very good and fresh. Prices are attractive. It was difficult to park car there but we found free space on parralel street below.

20/05/2025: It is a good pizzeria with a truly excellent pizza in the variant made with whole wheat flour dough. Light dough, crumbly, crispy crust with the scent of bread, perfect cooking, top quality seasoning ingredients starting from the fruity and low-acidity extra virgin olive oil.

20/05/2025: Yesterday, even though the service had ended (it was 2:30 pm), my wife, my Lagotto and I were greeted with a smile. The dishes, strictly local, turned out to be genuine, tasty and ... decidedly abundant. Nicla, the owner's daughter, turned out to be a very sweet and nice girl; we stayed to talk with her for a long time and she gave us a piece of her life. It's a shame that we live far away, in the north, otherwise it would be really nice to have the opportunity to frequent this place assiduously both to taste their dishes and for the courtesy and friendliness. If you are in the area, try it!

10/04/2025: Nella località Montegrosso Osteria dei Massari rappresenta un' ottima scelta se, si vuole mangiare tipico pugliese. L'Osteria dal clima familiare propone piatti della cucina contadina, piatti semplici e gustosi dall'antipasto ai primi cosi comeci secondi. Spaghetti alla 'donato' piacevolissima sorpresa anche se non sempre li ho trovati disponibili (ci sono stato piu di una volta). Proprietario simpatico e appassionato un vero oste. Lo consiglio non solo per chi visita Castel del Monte ma a tutti coloro che vogliono sentirsi a CASA in puglia. Tornerò ancora!

Starting from the assumption that pizzas are not served at lunch, and therefore the choice seems rather limited for a "restaurant", we encountered another problem. When we asked for two different first courses, we were told that, for two people, you could only order one type of first course.

Ignazio has a unique way of making guests feel welcomed, pampered and at the center of attention – with discretion, elegance and an always ready smile. It's rare to meet someone so passionate and genuinely involved in his work. Thanks to him, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and perfectly orchestrated. 11/03/2025: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this wine shop. After a tasting of Apulian wines together with colleagues from AIS, I decided to place an order via the website of this wine shop. The wine arrived on time and well packaged, even if the bottles with dust on them is not exactly a great presentation. During an evening of tastings we opened a bottle and unfortunately it was completely corked, wine to be thrown away; it's something that can happen, it's not the seller's fault, but since a bottle costs almost 30 euros it is usually exchanged for a good one. I pointed out this problem to the seller, also attaching photos of the cork, and they replied that if I had placed another order they would have inserted the bottle to compensate for the faulty one. Well, I make another order, in which I specify in the notes not to forget the compensation bottle. The box arrives but the promised bottle is not there! Deeply disappointed, I felt cheated. I don't think I will order any more from this wine shop
