18/01/2026: If I could put a zero, I'd put a minus one. The staff was incredibly rude, especially the owner, who yelled at me after I reported a wait of over an hour. Despite deciding to stay, the welcome was terrible, the table still set from the previous dinner, the waiter insulted a friend of mine, the bathroom was filthy like I've rarely seen before, the tap water didn't work, and not even a discount at the register after what happened. Not only is it not recommended, but I hope they also carry out the necessary checks.

15/11/2025: We went to Papilla this evening and had a wonderful time. The sushi was really good, fresh, and carefully prepared. We had two seafood starters, linguine and Benedetto Cavalieri spaghetti, both excellent. I recommend the deconstructed tiramisu and the apple puff pastry. We finished with a cognac accompanied by dark chocolate and shortbread cookies. The service was attentive, and we felt pampered throughout the evening. Keep up the good work.

The atmosphere is beautiful, both inside—warm and well-decorated—and outside, with an entrance featuring decorated columns (we went during the Christmas season).

01/04/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance because it was close to the B&B where I was staying. A lovely surprise. The Materana pizza was excellent, although a bit "challenging"... when you call it a one-dish meal!!! A nice draft beer, followed by a dessert (brought up to temperature with a quick trip to the oven!) and a house liqueur!! The price was absolutely in line with the amount of food! Helpful and friendly staff. WELL DONE!!!

29/03/2026: First of all, I'm a regular customer of this pizzeria. I know the owner Francesco, and his professionalism and kindness are unmatched. About fifteen years ago, in my opinion, it was one of the best pizzerias I'd tried. I often went there on weekends with my family.... The pizzas were, in my opinion, among the best I'd tasted in the area. Then, unfortunately (I'm speaking for myself) something has changed in this place in recent years: the menu style has completely changed, with few pizzas on the menu at completely different prices. The usual drinks I used to order are no longer available, replaced with artisanal ones. In short, a radical change, which I personally didn't appreciate. But on a sour note, unfortunately, returning to the pizzas....because they're no longer like a few years ago but rather Cartavelina style...very fine, and very EXPENSIVE!! All the menu prices have completely doubled. Certainly for a family with dependent children... I don't even want to imagine the final bill. In fact, I've noticed that the Saturday clientele has changed, I've seen many groups of young people... Finally, drawing my conclusions, I don't think I'll go there again!

07/04/2026: If you want to eat at an all-you-can-eat restaurant in Bari, this is the place to be. After trying several in the city center, there's no comparison. You can distinguish the individual dishes, there's variety, the staff is courteous, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The restrooms are clean. Highly recommended!
