08/03/2026: March 8, 2026 We chose the Antica Porta di Levante restaurant because it was featured in the Slow Food guide, which has never disappointed us. This time, however, we were greatly disappointed. First of all, they forgot to include our reservation, and that wasn't a good sign. As for the food, I can say that the only dish that lived up to Slow Food standards was the hand-chopped beef tartare. The rest of the dishes were just okay and full of cooking errors. The leek flan, our other appetizer, was good but not exceptional. For our first course, we had the lasagna with fresh artichokes, which wasn't exceptional either. The béchamel sauce wasn't as soft and creamy as I'd expected, and it was also served in a very deep dish, almost a bowl, making it difficult to eat. For our second course, we had the pan-fried pigeon with roast potatoes and the rabbit. The pigeon was good but a bit dry because it was served in a metal pan, sitting on a bed of burnt potatoes that stuck to the bottom, so much so that we barely managed to eat half of it. The rabbit was also tough and stringy, with a paltry side of carrots that weren't particularly flavorful. And what can I say about the coffee crème brûlée? It tasted like a slightly runny pudding. The whole thing cost 70 euros per person. The problem isn't the cost, but the fact that the quality didn't match the price paid.

27/12/2025: We visited this estate for a family lunch. Many sophisticated appetizers. The pumpkin-based first and second courses were delicious. The homemade desserts were very good. The service was attentive and fast. The access from the road is unpaved, and rightly so; I'd cover a few potholes. Enjoy your visit.

17/12/2025: I worked in Alberobello for a while and came across it by chance: it was love at first sight! The welcoming and spotless environment, the staff always helpful and smiling, the excellent coffee, not to mention the desserts: sublime and authentic. It was, of course, my go-to bar for the entire time I worked there, and last night I enjoyed the best hot chocolate in Puglia, and I know what I'm talking about, since I drink it everywhere I go. In short, a super bar.

06/04/2026: Nice place, quite spacious and heated if it's cold. The pizzas are excellent, and the cannoli are absolutely delicious. (I didn't have time to take photos, they sold out quickly!) The staff are very friendly and professional.

05/04/2026: Fantastic!! The service was incredibly pleasant and accommodating: they welcomed us at 10:30 pm for a table of 10. The waiter was lovely. The pizzas were excellent (tartufata +++) and served quickly. Thank you for the quality of the food and service!! Go without hesitation!!

The Guinness is served perfectly (creamy as it should be!), but the real surprise is the food: the burger was phenomenal, with quality meat and super fresh bread. The added bonus? The live music. Top-notch bands who really know how to engage the crowd. A perfect mix of good food, excellent beer, and the right vibe. I'll definitely be back.

The location is excellent, right in the main square beneath Terlizzi's Clock Tower, with outdoor seating that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant, especially on sunny days. The food is excellent: artisanal gelato, fresh pastries, single-serving desserts, and delicious savory options like toasted sandwiches and appetizer platters. Every time I've tried something, it's been truly delicious, with well-balanced flavors and quality evident in the details. The staff is friendly, kind, and approachable, always available to recommend the daily specials and make you feel at ease. The atmosphere is refined and clean, ideal for a relaxing break or a chat with friends over a good coffee or a light cocktail. Borgo 35 is a must-visit in the historic center of Terlizzi: authentic flavors, a pleasant atmosphere, and a welcome that will make you want to return. I'll definitely be back! 31/01/2026: The wine we chose was good and lived up to expectations, but unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by unclear and disorganized management. We weren't given any explanations about the evening's format: no indication of quantities, courses, timing, or cost. The idea was to enjoy a good glass of wine, but instead we found ourselves with half an open bottle at the table, not knowing what to expect. During the first hour, only a few tastings arrived (four small bruschettas, olives, and taralli), then nothing else for over an hour. When it came time to pay, we discovered that the main courses intended for our table were already prepared but were never served due to an organizational decision by the venue. Paying €48 for two without actually having dined leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, and it's a shame because with more transparent communication and more attentive service, the fine wine would have been much better showcased.
