Another dinner at this restaurant, as always charming and with a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which I really like. Unfortunately, unlike several other times, I didn't find the food up to my expectations. Quite the opposite. First of all, I found it odd, to say the least, that the menu featured a fish appetizer without a corresponding fish first or second course. With such an appetizer, I would have expected at least a matching first or second course (preferably both). There was, however, a fish first course off the menu, so I opted for that. However, the whole thing was quite disappointing: the appetizer was a squid salad (I thought it was octopus tentacles) which was bland and almost cold; the first course was tagliolini with shrimp ragù and shrimp tartare on top: the latter, in my opinion, didn't fit in well, its texture completely disconnected from the rest (it seemed like two different dishes mixed together). Overall, I wasn't very satisfied. The wine was average (Verdicchio, local Pinot). The price, in my opinion, was reasonable; I was expecting something more, so this aspect was positive.
