14/11/2025: We were there for my best friend's birthday. We had a great time, the staff were super helpful. They even made tiramisu for the cake. We tried both the ricotta and fiordilatte crusts. The ricotta one was exceptional, while the fiordilatte one wasn't as strong. What a shame :( The tiramisu was exceptional, and we'd love to go back for the burgers. Overall, a very pleasant evening. We'll definitely be back.

12/11/2025: I came in the evening for a pizza. The four-cheese pizza, priced at €10, came to €14.30 at the till. I asked why, and there was a €2 cover charge (I was alone, but I'd been told that cover charges apply in Italy). And to top it all off, €2.30 for tap water. Yes, you read that right, I was charged €2.30 for tap water. The restaurant is definitely overrated thanks to word of mouth, but not that I'm crazy about it.

08/02/2026: I really can't give it zero stars, because I would. If you're a foreigner, SAVE YOURSELF the misfortune of going to that pizzeria where you'll only be treated with contempt, practically DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. I absolutely do not recommend the place; I'm disappointed. I left immediately when I noticed their attitude and ran straight to Pizzeria da Michele where they DO make you feel welcome.

21/02/2026: I had dinner at Ribalta and can confirm that the pizza is truly excellent. We've been there many times precisely because the dough and ingredients are guaranteed, and there's no arguing about that. This time, however, the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered one crostini, two pizzas, one 75cl beer, and two coffees, spending €61. Considering the prices are slightly above average, you'd expect the service to be absolutely top-notch. The place was incredibly crowded, and this created quite a bit of confusion. It was so loud that at times we struggled to talk to each other, and this didn't make the evening particularly enjoyable. I understand that success brings in a lot of people, but perhaps managing a few fewer seats would allow for a more liveable atmosphere and more organized service. In particular, my girlfriend's pizza arrived significantly later than mine, and we ended up eating at different times—which isn't exactly a good thing for dinner. I repeat: the quality of the pizza remains among my favorites in the area. However, with prices slightly above average, I would expect an overall more refined and relaxing experience. 3 stars because the quality is there, but there is room for improvement in the organization and management of the dining room.

The Pici cacio e pepe were spectacular, as were the ravioli mugellani, truly delicious and prepared with great care. Not to mention the homemade desserts, simply exquisite, and the excellent coffee served in a moka pot, a detail that harks back to true tradition. A cuisine that perfectly blends tradition and innovation, with authentic, high-quality dishes. A truly appreciated note: my dog ​​was welcomed with great kindness, which we found delightful. An excellent experience in every way. We will definitely be back!

13/01/2026: An evening with friends for pizza and more, a place with plenty of tables, and a friendly, attentive staff. Excellent, mouthwatering potato chips, delicious fresh fried artichokes, lobster gnocchi I thought were excellent, the blue crab gnocchi were a must-try, and the linguine with clams and bottarga. The pizza was not bad, huge, and the chocolate and orange cake with flaked almonds was also excellent. Still white wine and coffee were also included. I must say the service was prompt and the price was excellent, a good balance between quality and price. We had a great time.

17/12/2025: First of all, I'd like to confirm the poor hygiene noted by other customers: in the Margherita pizza I ordered, I actually found a hair embedded in the dough. It's certainly an acceptable pizza by Florentine standards (in a place like Florence, it doesn't take much...), but it has NOTHING to do with Neapolitan pizza. The dough may be organic, but it's dry and hard. At this point, I'd be better off buying a pizza from Conad for a third of that price. At least I won't find any surprises inside, and I won't pay a whopping €2.50 for the cover charge. P.S. I hope they'll do a thorough hygiene inspection sooner or later to ensure they're not adhering to the HACCP protocol!

21/11/2025: Absolutely the best pizza in Florence!! The owners are so sweet and hospitable and love to discuss their craft and ethos around the ingredients they select and use. Pizza is sourdough based and so delicious and full of flavor. Toppings are unique and seasonal, and they also have a great selection of bio/organic wines. My husband and I are here twice while in Florence and were so happy and content each time! A must go!!
