I highly recommend this place! The food is inexpensive for the quality and quantity, there's a wide variety of choices, the service is fast, and the staff are locals. In short, it's the perfect place if you're looking for authenticity!

First restaurant in Florence and it was excellent. I had the stracciatella and zucchini pasta, it was delicious!
Note that pizzas are not available at lunchtime.

A simple place enhanced by kindness and courtesy. Fresh and authentic products. Delicious dishes with neutral flavors and aromas.

I went on a Sunday evening and it was not too packed. I can only comment on tonight’s meal and it was amazing. For my palette, this was the most perfectly cooked and seasoned seafood salad and octopus. The octopus was tender and flavorful. I ended with a perfectly balanced tiramisu cake. The staff was wonderful and attentive, music was a lovely blend of classic romance songs. Thank you for a fantastic meal, I hope others will share the same sentiment!

There's no doubt about it: it's the best pizza in Florence. Their Margherita with ricotta could win any award.
But the other dishes on the menu also make you want to visit Naples.
The difficulty with parking is offset by the very pleasant flavors.
A small constructive criticism: the atmosphere has improved significantly compared to the past, but the lights and chairs (unsightly) are still not up to par.

It's tasty, but it didn't blow me away. You can eat better for the same price at other places nearby. It has a typical diner atmosphere. We ordered one plate of tagliolini with special sauce and truffle, one plate of seafood risotto, and two large draft beers. The tagliolini (see photo) was fantastic, but the risotto left much to be desired. When we arrived, it took about 15 minutes to be served, which also detracts significantly from the experience. We spent €50 in March 2026. Would I go back? Only if I couldn't find a place nearby with a better rating.
