16/05/2026: Fantastic Restaurant in Certaldo. The food was incredible. We had a Caprese salad. The Mozzarella and Tomatoes were delicious. Mains included the Cuttlefish Ravioli and Pici with Tomato and Garlic (which had this amazing sweetness). Both mains were top class. The restaurant was busy however that did not impact the service. Lots of vegetarian options. While we did not have the pizza, it looked delicious and large.

16/06/2026: Nice aesthetics, but that's where the good things end.
Service could be questioned (missing cutlery and a waiter leaving our plates saying "you do it yourself").
The pizzas were nothing special, especially since they were extremely heavy. Plus, there was a mix-up of the toppings between two pizzas at our table, and their solution was to put the toppings from one pizza on top of the other, which obviously returned to the table cold.
I wouldn't normally complain about that, but when yet another pizzeria does that, charging you sky-high prices because they have to pretend to be "gourmet," it's hilarious.
Ultimately, these are pizzerias like there have always been; they just change the packaging to justify the high prices.
13/06/2026: Materia is a reference pizzeria in the area, unfortunately this time it disappointed expectations, probably the oven had not reached the ideal temperature, the dough had little flavor and the pizza was not very hydrated and consequently burned in some places, I have to be honest on previous occasions I had impressed the quality of the product but this time it was disappointing, I hope that this post can help us improve and never let our guard down, respect for the customer always comes first.

08/04/2026: The food was amazing, especially the “I Pici All’ aglione” (best pasta we’ve ever eaten!). The prices were good, approx 10-11 for the pasta we ordered. The staff was kind and welcoming. Only problem was that there was a cover charge even though no bread was served (2€ per person). But overall great experience!

14/05/2026: The food was absolutely amazing — everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with authentic Italian passion. The portions were generous, the service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Every dish was a delight, especially the pasta and dessert. Definitely one of the best places we visited in Italy. We would happily come back again! 🇮🇹🍝✨

14/05/2026: I've personally been there twice and I won't be going back.
The first time, I booked pizzas for 8:30 PM, got there at 8:35 PM, and found them ready (and cold)... okay, it can happen. Second time, I arrived 15 minutes before the agreed-upon time, and guess what? They were already there, ready... ready for a quick reheat... but how? How do you manage to work like this? I read about "best pizzeria in the area"... but whoever wrote that, has ever had a pizza in the park, for example? Then they saw me a little shocked, and with a smile they thanked me, etc. But how? CAN'T you see that I'm giving you a dirty look because you have my pizza ready 15 minutes early? Not a single "sorry," nothing... I mean, they're treating you like an idiot.
Go there yourself, as far as I'm concerned it's closed.
EDIT: In response to management, I find it absurd to have to specify that I want a hot pizza. If I book a time slot, I expect it to come out of the oven right then, not 15 minutes early. Your "logic" is just an excuse to cover up poor service.
21/01/2026: I called and ordered two pizzas, when I asked for the second one they told me that I had to wait longer for the fries, so I said that the fries didn't matter, not the pizza, a pizza arrived and when I pointed it out the guy said that's what he understood, terrible service, I would have expected at least that they would make it even if it was late and bring it to me, plus the only pizza that arrived had sour tomato sauce

12/06/2025: Abbiamo mangiato da Diana un paio di giorni fa. La ragazza ed il titolare sono stati gentili e le pizze erano molto buone. E ci hanno fatto assaggiare la pizza con la frutta e dire che è buona è riduttivo : è buonissima, incredibile di più. Assaggiatela e rimarrete stupiti. E non capisco chi si lamenta dei tempi , ma se siete sempre di corsa quando lavorate, fuori dal lavoro calmatevi un po e godetevi la vostra pizza ed una fresca birretta che se arriva anche un poco dopo non casca il mondo , anzi !

25/07/2025: Deze zaak is volledig veranderd en serveert geen pizza's meer. Het is nu een enoteca en niet geschikt voor kinderen. Dit hadden ze wel even mogen aanpassen op Google en hier op Tripadvisor.
15/07/2025: It's no longer in business. It closed permanently a year ago.
