12/02/2026: TLDR; Tourist trap. Pushy staff, mediocre food, forced us to provide a review. Ordered appetizers, server suggestive alternatives. They were not great. Bland squash blossoms and a tomato and strachiatella with a very non-ripe tomato. Ordered a chianina femmina steak and pesto gnocchi for dinner, they suggested an alternative cut of beef. It was good. Gnocchi was not over the right texture, sort of gummy. At the end of the meal, they brought over nfc cards to tap for quick review access. It was fine but became pushy and they even tried to type the review on my phone. I’ve travelled enough to know a tourist trap when I see one, I left convinced this place has very few intentionally offered good reviews and lots of unsolicited forced on the patron reviews to bump their rating. A bummer to realize how rigged Google Maps reviews have become. My wife picked this place blindly based on them. Doubt we will blindly do that again. On a positive, the place is very dog friendly. Our two dogs were welcomed, they were given water, fed snacks.

08/03/2026: I visited this restaurant for dinner with friends. The service was professional and friendly, especially the owner, who showed us around the restaurant. The location is surrounded by greenery and meticulously maintained. I had higher expectations for the food quality, however; I would recommend reviewing and changing some of the menu items. Overall, a positive experience.

12/03/2026: Our friends arrived separately from us and were recommended Yellow Door by their tassista for our large group of four adults and three children. He called and made a reservation on our behalf with the manager, Simon, who promptly set us up with a table within an hour of making the reservation. The entire staff was friendly and took incredible care of us. However, special thanks goes to our server, Guiditta, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient with our group of two families. She made great recommendations and we left feeling taken care of and appreciative of her attention to our table—as well as genuinely enjoying our conversation with her beyond her service. Florence always gets it right on the hospitality front, but I can’t imagine a better experience for a larger party and last-minute reservation. Well exceeded any expectations. Well done, Yellow Bar. We look forward to our return!

13/02/2026: A real gem, my French friends! A superb Italian restaurant with a refined, romantic, and convivial atmosphere! You immediately feel at ease. The service is impeccable. The homemade fresh pasta is delicious. And the desserts are a true delight, the perfect way to end the meal. Plus, there's a magnificent view, and at the end of the day you can admire the sunset! I come back to this restaurant every year.

25/01/2026: Cute little place. Delicious food. We had the ficattola with prosciutto and burrata. Delicious. Two generous first courses. The pappardelle with wild boar were delicious and very well seasoned, and the tagliolini with truffle were fantastic. Friendly staff.

25/01/2026: Excellent food. The Aconese sauce is overpowering with too many different flavors, but it's definitely good! The new Acone olive oil is excellent. The cured meats are good, but the crostini are a bit less so. The table wine is good, definitely superior to the usual gut-burning Tuscan ones. The desserts are excellent, all homemade. Fast and courteous service. Excellent value. The only problem is that it's a bit far from the city. An experience to repeat!

19/01/2026: I came back here on Saturday evening even though it's a bit far from home, but I took the opportunity to take a tour of Mugello. Like the other times, the welcome was excellent and the dishes were high-quality at a reasonable price. We'll be back soon because I saw the tagliata with porcini mushrooms.

The staff is truly friendly and professional, and made us feel at home every night. If you're looking for quality and warmth, this is the place. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: I stumbled upon this delicious slice of pizza place. The crust is thin and crispy. If you're a little tired of similar restaurants, I highly recommend this place for a delicious and enjoyable meal. The pumpkin pizza is especially excellent. I hope the friendly owner stays healthy!

08/03/2026: Fantastic potato tortelli! The beef sauce is very good and super light. They have two sittings for dinner in the evening: 7:30 or 9:30. And you can't go wrong. Average prices. Usually a bit crowded.

08/03/2026: For lunch with friends, we enjoyed the fabulous handmade tortelli made with a very thin dough, which melt in your mouth... unique! There are various toppings to choose from: ragù, duck, mushrooms, or simply oil and cheese, all special. To finish, the pork shank, also incredibly tender and tasty. Reservations are required, and well in advance.
