24/05/2026: You cannot have a coffee at 11h in the morning, they send dozen of people back saying terrace is for lunch. Worst experience in Florence of the whole week. Never had such bad service.

23/05/2026: Delicious lamb ragu pasta looking out over the square with a glass of Chianti. The atmosphere was calm and classy but the prices are reasonable. My waiter was very nice and polite.

Look at the other responses from the owner. He doesn’t care or is concerned about his business. 27/12/2025: This was my first time here. The restaurant has a chill vibe, the staff are lovely, and it feels like a local eatery. There's Wi-Fi, but no fans or air conditioning; it gets really hot if you're in the mood. The service was welcoming, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they even offered food recommendations (if you're unsure what to eat or what kind of food you like). The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. I'm happy with the restaurant. It was a really nice experience.

05/08/2026: An absolute gem in Florence! We had a wonderful evening at Osteria Il Giardino di Barbano. The food was fantastic – authentic Tuscan cuisine with super fresh ingredients (the homemade pasta is divine!). The service was also excellent: incredibly warm, attentive, and efficient; you immediately feel welcome. The highlight, however, is the beautiful garden – a true little oasis in the heart of the city, where you can relax wonderfully. If you're in Florence, you absolutely must stop by. We'll definitely be back!

03/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff took the time to recommend a selection of dishes that paired perfectly together, making the entire dining experience feel carefully curated. We were welcomed with a Prosecco aperitif and water, which was a lovely touch. The restaurant also offers a large wine selection, and the beer was excellent as well. The Pasta and Pizza was absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. To finish, the dessert was just as outstanding as the rest of the meal. Overall, everything from the first welcome to the final bitte was great. We had a wonderful evening and a memorable dining experience.

18/05/2026: What can I say: Scandicci's grill is an institution for meat lovers. Excellent food, carefully selected meats that change constantly, and friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it.

A very friendly welcome with a complimentary prosecchino, excellent and generous portions, and very reasonably priced! I found several changes... limited pizza choices, very good waiter service, but too formal, it felt like being in a Michelin-starred restaurant... and then the prices were quite high for a pizzeria that used to be for everyone, but has now become too demanding.

04/06/2026: We had the absolute best experience at Godipopolo during our stay in Tavernelle. From the very first visit, Godi made us feel so welcome and looked after. We arrived quite late as a large group of 11 people, yet she still accommodated us with such kindness, warmth, and generosity, which we really appreciated. The pizzas were honestly some of the best we had during our entire trip. Everything tasted incredibly authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, with so many great options to choose from. I ordered the Vegeteriana and the Parmagiana pizzas, and both were absolute standouts. The ingredients were fresh, the bases were perfect, and every bite was delicious. The experience was so good that throughout our week-long stay, we ended up ordering from Godipopolo more than anywhere else. Every single time, the food was consistently amazing and Godi was always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating no matter how busy things were. It became one of the highlights of our trip and truly felt like a local gem. Amazing food, fantastic service, and such a warm atmosphere. Easily the best restaurant we visited in the area and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

08/08/2026: The T-bone steak was solid, featuring quality ingredients. However, the pasta and appetizers were merely average and not particularly recommended. The potatoes were the standout highlight—highly recommended. The tiramisu is also worth trying. The cost is around €30 per person.
