03/05/2026: A good place to eat, quiet, and the food was delicious. We went on the recommendation of our guide. There were four of us, and we decided to order the steak. It weighed 1.2 kilos and came with baked potatoes (which, in my opinion, were a bit oily, but tasty). We all ate from that dish, even though it said it was for two people. Before cooking the steak, the waiter came over to ask us how we wanted it cooked. Excellent service. We spent 80 euros and also ordered water and wine.

06/05/2026: The food amazing our florentine steaks were flavourful, and the restaurant itself looked amazing inside. Very pricey ofcource it is a steakhouse after all. but LORENZO MY GOAT 🐐, he made the whole thing feel homey since it was out first time trying something a bit fancy, we felt out of place until he came and made us feel at home. 10/10 if yall fire lorenzo im burning the whole place down😭

17/06/2026: The pizzas were absolutely amazing, with excellent dough and generous toppings. Plus, the price was very reasonable! A place I highly recommend! Reservations are recommended, as it gets quite busy! The only downside was that we were somewhat rushed to vacate our table...

04/06/2026: We had the absolute best experience at Godipopolo during our stay in Tavernelle. From the very first visit, Godi made us feel so welcome and looked after. We arrived quite late as a large group of 11 people, yet she still accommodated us with such kindness, warmth, and generosity, which we really appreciated. The pizzas were honestly some of the best we had during our entire trip. Everything tasted incredibly authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, with so many great options to choose from. I ordered the Vegeteriana and the Parmagiana pizzas, and both were absolute standouts. The ingredients were fresh, the bases were perfect, and every bite was delicious. The experience was so good that throughout our week-long stay, we ended up ordering from Godipopolo more than anywhere else. Every single time, the food was consistently amazing and Godi was always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating no matter how busy things were. It became one of the highlights of our trip and truly felt like a local gem. Amazing food, fantastic service, and such a warm atmosphere. Easily the best restaurant we visited in the area and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

01/06/2026: The two stars are for the charmingly located bistro and the friendly service. Everything else was unfortunately inedible. We're really not picky eaters, but everyone left their food (even the children). I've never drunk (or rather, left uneaten) such bad white wine, and the tuna was also of very poor quality. We're baffled as to how it got such good reviews…

18/05/2026: What can I say: Scandicci's grill is an institution for meat lovers. Excellent food, carefully selected meats that change constantly, and friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it.

16/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria just steps from our accommodation. We ate there twice in four days. A very friendly welcome with a complimentary prosecchino, excellent and generous portions, and very reasonably priced! Thank you again for your hospitality and a special thank you to the waitress who walks from the Stibbert Museum to the restaurant.

16/05/2026: Five stars in its category: neighborhood restaurant. The food is fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The service is quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable. It's often full, so reservations are recommended. I'll be back.

27/01/2026: This place needs to be shut down. Microwaved food and rude owner. I should have checked the reviews before I went here. Guy was so rude he made me cry. Look at the other responses from the owner. He doesn’t care or is concerned about his business. His own defense is calling customers who experience bad service are 'fake and liars.’ He is fake and a liar. I will never come here again.

27/12/2025: This was my first time here. The restaurant has a chill vibe, the staff are lovely, and it feels like a local eatery. There's Wi-Fi, but no fans or air conditioning; it gets really hot if you're in the mood. The service was welcoming, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they even offered food recommendations (if you're unsure what to eat or what kind of food you like). The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. I'm happy with the restaurant. It was a really nice experience.

27/05/2026: Protected by glass, a dull figure can be seen in the distance, indifferent to most, placidly sinking its flesh into the dough while observing the vulgarity of the hungry man without judgment. Upon contact with the marble, its fingers become bristles; water, flour, and tomato transform into color pigments. The canvas dissolves upon contact with saliva, turning into dissatisfaction. Many call it pizza, others call it a good pizza, I simply see the first impressionistic pizza in history.

The young lady who welcomed us (we thought she was the owner) was incredibly kind and friendly! We found out about them through a Wonderbox! A unique experience... Prosecco to welcome us... a true Bavarian beer hall, with excellent food and beer! Five stars more than deserved!
