16/12/2024: Wonderful dining experience! To begin with, the table bread was freshly baked and absolutely delicious with olive oil and balsamic. The crostini, sausage rigatoni, white beans, roast potatoes and grilled vegetables we ordered were all just divine! You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place!

Here is an analysis of the dishes we had the opportunity to taste: Sweet • The dessert was a real delight: a crunchy base garnished with plenty of cream and a generous drizzle of chocolate cream. The presentation on the black plate highlighted the liveliness of the ingredients, while the icing sugar added an elegant touch. A balanced and delicious dessert, ideal to end the meal. Yellow Pizza (Pumpkin, bacon and porcini mushrooms) • An innovative and well-balanced combination: the sweetness of the pumpkin cream married perfectly with the flavor of the bacon and the creaminess of the mozzarella. The dough, soft and well-leavened, was cooked to perfection. This pizza manages to enhance simple but high quality ingredients. Pizza with Friarielli and Sausage • A classic of the Neapolitan tradition performed in an excellent way. The broccoli, with a bitter flavour, harmonized beautifully with the tasty sausage. The stringy mozzarella and light dough completed a perfect experience. A true triumph of authentic flavors. Service and Atmosphere • The environment is welcoming and well-kept, with friendly staff attentive to customer needs. 20/12/2024: A good Neapolitan pizza, the place is not very big so if you want to eat in this place I recommend making a reservation, although on a Thursday evening I was lucky and showed up without any reservation. The service was good and the girls were always available.

09/12/2024: Strongly recommend researching Osteria vs Trattoria vs Restaurante. We ate very well at Osterias and Trattorias and saved a little money over Restaurantes. Dress code is also more lax as these were previously used for gambling and drinking more so than Restaurantes dedicated to fine dining.

30/11/2024: Stopped on a whim, my 16 year old son and I saw the pizzas in the display and that Margherita pizza with pesto looked good. Only $3?? It was SO good that I ordered a second one for myself! One of my fave meals during our weeklong visit in Florence! Nice lady working there also!

26/11/2024: A spectacular and very tasty pizza. The woman who served us was quite friendly and polite. We order in November 2024, without any wait. As for the food, it was takeaway and no complaints. The pieces are super huge for only €3 each. The salami one was a little bit spicy, but it was very good. I would repeat, without hesitation. Tomorrow itself. A tasty spettacolare e molto pizza. 15/12/2024: Invitato da parenti, ho pranzato in questo locale al centro di Bagni di Lucca che coniuga un ambiente suggestivo e accogliente, stile primi del Novecento, con una deliziosa cucina che tutti abbiamo apprezzato. Tortelli, tagliatelle, ravioli, come primi, tartufo, ragout di lepre e di carne come condimenti, roast beef, arista di maiale come secondi, patate arrosto e fritte come contorni, torta di mele, come dessert, vino rosso della casa come bevande, caffè per chiudere il pasto. Tutto ottimo, davvero speciale, in un ambiente accogliente e dotato di un servizio ottimo. Prezzi onesti. Lo consiglio senz'altro!

23/10/2024: Atmosphere like in a train station hall. Dishes were too salty (especially the spinach and salsiccia). The restaurant appears to have no spoons and only a limited number of oil and vinegar bottles as well as pepper and salt shakers. I can't understand five star reviews at all!

11/12/2024: Family business, the owner is a funny character and very helpful with various suggestions to visit the surroundings of Tuscany! One of the best pizzas ever eaten bonus I got the cecina 🙏! Don't look to go to the restaurants near the tower, take a few more steps , arrive in 5 min. here!

01/01/2025: Welcoming place, very kind staff always present for any clarification on the menu. For Christmas they had an à la carte menu which was excellent. I also recommend it for normal days, it's worth it both for the raw materials and the price. Congratulations to everyone including the chef.
