19/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria; all the ingredients we tried were top-quality and well-cooked. The appetizers were well-fried, leaving no grease on your hands, and the pizza was cooked to perfection, with plenty of toppings and flavor. The atmosphere was simple and elegant. The service was fast, attentive, and helpful. The price was reasonable: for two, we spent €44. Definitely worth a try! We'll definitely be back, even though we live half an hour from Lucca.

12/06/2026: On my trip to Florence, I'd say this restaurant was my favorite. The pasta was incredibly good, spectacular. The dessert was also amazing; the tiramisu was a 10/10. My only complaint was the waiter who showed me to my table. He wasn't very friendly, but the food was so good that in the end, I didn't care whether he was nice or not.

06/06/2026: Low-fat, crispy pizza that doesn't disappoint, highly recommended! I hadn't been back in years, perhaps because of the natural skepticism I have for places "too central," but I had to change my mind and really enjoyed it. We tried two simple pizzas, a Margherita and a salami, and they were truly delicious. Low-fat, crispy, and flavorful... ideal for those seeking this style and preferring to avoid the overly pronounced crusts found at other pizzerias in the city center. The space is spacious, so you can hear a bit of conversation, but the tables with high-backed wooden benches create niches, giving you a bit of privacy; it's comfortable. Special mention goes to the staff. The staff is friendly, approachable, and well-organized. The welcome is warm and friendly. Peering around the nearby tables, I saw some truly inviting fresh pasta dishes (made in-house)—a great alternative for those who prefer traditional cuisine. The tiramisu also seems to be a sure thing: a great reason to come back. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It's a solid, no-frills choice. If you're downtown and want to play it safe and eat a good pizza without feeling like a tourist who needs ripping off, this is the place to be. I personally will be back.

07/07/2026: The atmosphere was certainly good. Partly thanks to another table where one of the guests started singing. The location was also pretty okay. I was welcomed well and was allowed to choose whether to sit in the air conditioning, with a fan breeze, or without anything. Wine is at least by the half bottle, which was too much for me alone. I was allowed to taste first, though, so I was sure to choose a good one. Great! For dinner, I chose the pici carbonara. In my opinion, the pasta tasted too much like flour, and the meat was mainly fatty. Who am I to pass judgment on this as a foreigner, but that is how I experienced it. The damper on the atmosphere came at the checkout: although the prices were reasonable, on top of VAT and the usual coperto, a 10% ‘aumento’ was also charged. It is not clear what this is, and I didn't see anything about it on the menu displayed either. There might be something about it on the menu, but I didn't notice it. Such tricks to charge more always make it less enjoyable. I only realized it afterwards, but I didn't feel like arguing anymore. What's asked is asked and what's given is given...

14/05/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at La Vetreria in Florence. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. The meat dishes were especially delicious and perfectly prepared. We also really appreciated the excellent selection of regional wines, which complemented the food beautifully. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine in a lovely setting!

13/06/2026: I had lunch at this Peruvian restaurant today with my boyfriend, and the atmosphere was truly special. 🩷 The welcome was warm and genuine; you could immediately see the passion behind the work. The service was kind and attentive, and we immediately felt at ease. The way the dishes and their origins are explained is also lovely—it makes you discover Peruvian cuisine even more! The food was incredibly fresh, tasty, and authentic. A place that exudes a wonderful energy. We'll definitely be back! ❤️❤️

27/07/2026: Six of us arrived at 8, maybe even a little earlier, and they served us at 9:37. They sat us between their dog bowls and the bathrooms, on the gravel, in what is most likely a customer parking lot, but which out of greed they transformed into an outdoor seating area. For a good hour we felt like we were abandoned with a still bottle and a fizzy one on a table outside in a parking lot between the dog bowl and the bathrooms. Then at 9:37 the appetizers arrived: mediocre cured meats, including mortadella... on a bed of out-of-season fruit... (it should have been specified on the menu), and around 10 the other orders arrived. Some good, some less so, like the cheese and pear ravioli that they probably would have sent back to a hospital. The desserts were sold out, the rest were consistent with the above. Getting the apple cake wrong is sacrilegious. What I received was terrible sponge cake. Quality with a now-decadent scoop of something resembling ice cream. The apples? Maybe they slipped away, understandably. We would have done the same, but instead we went to pay the bill, where, despite holding up our table's order slip, the owner (?) asked us what we'd ordered, after we corrected him a couple of times about the quantity of the drinks. I'm sure we've had the wrong evening. But faced with such poor quality, an apology or some gesture of empathy would have sufficed... too bad, I'll definitely leave my table free for some passing tourist.

09/06/2026: The pizzas by the slice are good, rich and tasty. The price is good, and the dough is expertly made with the right, crispy crusts. Parking is a bit difficult, but it's easy to find. A few outdoor spaces make parking easier. A delicious slice of mushroom pizza today was also worth 10.

04/06/2026: The cecina is next level. The quattro formaggi and classic margherita were also just perfect. If you like spicy, try the chili oil as well :) super fast, affordable quick lunch.
