31/08/2024: A magical place! in the heart of Pisa. excellent welcome. very tasty cuisine and beautiful evening surrounded by Italians. I recommend!!

13/08/2024: A really fantastic restaurant in a small garden, far away from the tourist route at the leaning tower. Very good food and even better service - we had forgotten our mosquito spray and the nice waiter organized protection for us. Highly recommended!

19/08/2024: Recommended by a friend, it was immediately an excellent experience, Michele and his staff proved to be friendly and helpful, finding us a free table despite the late opening hours on the day of the Palio. Very rich menu including land dishes, pizza and cuts of meat of different varieties, we started with a platter of typical products of unique goodness, first courses always very abundant in the dishes and to finish a perfectly cooked cut of beef, all accompanied by a house red wine. A round of applause to the head nurse and the staff including Michele for their availability and professionalism. Competitive prices for the quality of the food and the service, certainly not one of those restaurants "for tourists" but on the contrary a typical place where you can eat really well and receive professional service, we will certainly return.

19/08/2024: 10 minute wait, Without a soul that deigned to reveal itself. Empty place, chef who pretended not to see us and the waitress who had the courage to say that they were full and we couldn't eat dinner. Terrible on all points of view including the insistence of parking

30/10/2023: Maybe we should have eaten pizzas or pasta, but we chose meat and it wasn't a good experience, 250g slice was actually 4 strips of meat hidden under the sauce, cinta fillet with gorgonzola was good, but 2 and a half slices, let's say average tartare. Even desserts weren't that great, strudel was the frozen ready type and burnt on top. And eventually stomach ache and heartburn. It's a shame because the environment is small, but very nice and the waitress also very nice

28/08/2024: We waited 30 minutes for take-away pizza (3 courses) while there were very few people in the restaurant. The pizza has nothing special, the environment is very nice but that remains. Worthy of note is a padded item sold for 9.5 euros with the modest size of a hand. Smaller than average pizzas, very good ingredients.

05/08/2024: I doubt I'll go back, I was there for a birthday, sat down at 9.30pm and by 11pm we had finished "eating". We had to ask for more cold cuts because we had been brought a platter for 9 people (when it should have been one platter for every 4). The pizzas were counted (it was a pizza round, the same waiter told us that 20 had been made for 30 people). The dessert order was taken twice because the menu was not brought to the entire table but only to part of it. The first bottle of wine tasted and smelled a little like vinegar (I asked 4 other people before telling the waiter), to the question "Can you tell me the characteristics of this wine?" I was told the name and vintage… As for the location (the one outside) it was nice.

04/08/2024: Nice place, congratulations, especially the outside, shame about the very noisy table which was in the beautiful external "garden" which could have been avoided by using many of the internal tables which remained empty during the evening. Unfortunately the service left something to be desired, at least in the first part of the dinner. We'll try again. From a place like Mangia you would expect greater attention. The food is good, the ice cream is very good, the tarte tatin is something else though.

25/08/2024: Gourmet pizzas? In my opinion they don't even know what gourmet means! I got a heavenly pizza which should have had raw red prawns....there was 1 prawn but on the whole pizza it was a black angus...these are dry focaccias with very little seasoning but covered with fried onions, which are not even remotely close to a pizza! I also advise against it due to the prices being too high compared to the quality Total disappointment

25/08/2024: Hamburger...gourmet! Also excellent are the plain burgers, bruschetta with datterino tomatoes and... everything else!

24/08/2024: We had dinner at this small restaurant. The owner, a very kind person, managed to find a table even though the place was full. Delicious sandwiches with excellent quality products, friendly staff attentive to customer needs. Small but very nice location, overlooking the port. If we return to Porto Santo Stefano, we will certainly visit her again.

07/08/2024: Delicious, simple Tuscan cuisine. Very large portions. Beautifully located restaurant. A wonderful armosphere. A bit of a long wait, but worth the wait
