12/10/2025: We went for lunch today. The chef and the person who served us were extremely kind. We had two calamaratas, a burrata ravioli, a rice gnudo, a mussel pepper dish, and a hamburger. The dishes were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The chef also gave us a truly special dessert: an extra portion of ravioli for my daughter, who was still hungry. He also brought my wife a sample of calamarata, as he put it, "so she wouldn't go away craving it." It's rare to find such quality and kindness toward customers as the charming chef Stefano showed us. We had a good laugh over the combination of local cuisine and refined food, which is truly rare. The price was more than fair. When and if we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

22/08/2025: Historic restaurant, I've been coming here since I was a child for the delicious, authentic dishes and Marzia's impeccable hospitality. Recommended for groups, and the pizza is excellent, so I always ask for seconds. It's become a guaranteed success.

29/10/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly. Unfortunately, today there was no à la carte menu, but rather a set menu. We were there with four adults and five children, and the children ate practically nothing. The other adults were also very dissatisfied with the food. The prices, however, were completely unreasonable; the supposed hidden gem ended in a financial disaster and, ultimately, hungry children. A small addendum to my reply: We weren't invited; we paid ourselves, and none of the nine of us were satisfied. The children didn't eat anything but were charged in full without a second thought. Our request to prepare even a small dish for the children was refused. If you're describing the menu so positively, you yourself must realize that it's absolutely not child-friendly. Referencing our German specialties in this way is not only extremely poor but also, in part, racist. It speaks volumes about the awful character of your establishment and of you personally. If I could give zero stars, I would.

21/10/2025: We ate at the restaurant on a set menu day, so we couldn't order a la carte. This wasn't stated in the reservation. The food was OK for us adults, but unfortunately, not for the children. We asked for fries so the children could eat something, but unfortunately, this wasn't possible. Because the meat was raw, the children couldn't be persuaded to eat it. Our drink preferences weren't even asked. It was unfortunately disappointing. The ambiance was nice, but it didn't make up for everything else. The price of €35 per person (including the children) was pretty shocking!

15/08/2025: Bati Bati is now an institution in Marina di Carrara; I think even the lifeguard in the back row knows it. The atmosphere is simple, no frills, no flex—and that's fine. They serve both pizza and a restaurant, and obviously, in the middle of August, this combo means the kitchen sometimes takes a breather... as it did for us. No dramas, it was the Ferragosto holiday after all. The penne with scampi? A caress for the soul, 100% comfort food vibes. I tried the pizzas quickly, and the one with zucchini flowers, in my opinion, had more to tell. The fried food took a bit too long to arrive, but when it arrived... it was good, average, the kind that won't change your life but will keep you company. In short: a solid 3.5, a place that tells a bit of the history of Marina di Carrara, still frozen in certain postcards of the past... but with that charm that makes you say "come on, I'll go back".

05/10/2025: We ordered two takeout pizzas, one vegetarian with GRILLED VEGETABLES, exactly what I'd said over the phone. I received a pizza with cherry tomatoes, arugula, and white potatoes. If things can't be done, you have to let us know; we would have changed pizzas. A terrible experience, not to mention the crust that outweighed the toppings.

03/10/2025: Nice place, they do both takeout and dine-in pizza. Delicious gourmet pizzas, and there are starters and main courses, if I'm not mistaken. I gave it 4 stars because I absolutely don't blame the guy in the dining room, who went out of his way, but rather the organization of the dining room and/or the employees. There were too many tables for one person running around. We even waited an hour for a little water at the table. And I repeat, nothing against the guy who does his job, but rather the organization of roles. This aspect needs to be revisited. Parking is a bit difficult, so we hung around for a while trying to find one, but we finally found it. Otherwise, everything was top-notch.

28/08/2025: We had a great time at dinner last night, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was plentiful and tasty. A great find, we'll definitely be back.

25/08/2025: We stopped in Torre del Lago Puccini with our caravan and arrived at this place in the evening. We were warmly welcomed, and the playground was huge for a restaurant. Surrounded by greenery, it was truly beautiful. I had a delicious pizza, and the kids had a kids' menu. The price was super fair.

20/09/2025: A true surprise. I ordered a pizza and the style which was served was unlike any pizza I have had before. However I'm not complaining because it was delicious and the price was very reasonable. If you're in the area then please stop by and try.

21/09/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever tasted, with a crust that's crispy on the outside and a spectacularly soft and chewy interior! The fried pizza was spectacular, incredibly dry. The desserts were excellent. Quality ingredients, friendly staff, and a moderate price ensured that a table of eight people left feeling pleasantly satisfied. Highly recommended.

11/10/2025: We celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. Even though we chose a simple dinner, they took great care in everything, from the table settings to the customization of the menus to the beautiful cake. The service was top-notch, very helpful and kind. The food was a guarantee. The cold cuts were of excellent quality, the two excellent first courses and one tagliata was really good. I recommend it.

03/10/2025: A welcoming, family-run restaurant. A delightful blend of traditional recipes, flavors, and a fine selection of wines. All this in the Chianti countryside. Five stars are not enough.

17/10/2025: Nothing to complain about the quality of the food, the only thing to note is to have the fish weighed before ordering. The fish I was served was definitely not 550 grams, as communicated after I asked.

17/10/2025: The staff were not friendly at all, the fries were all hard for 4 euros and the bread was just hard pieces of bread.
