31/08/2024: Prenotazione per 5 persone, arriviamo e l accoglienza è fredda e distaccata e gia non ci siamo. Chiediamo il menu e il menu non esiste e gia qua ci viene il dubbio. Arriva il proprietario e ci elenca alcuni piatti e ovviamente senza dirci il prezzo. 2 primi con aglio, olio e peperoncino, lardo e pomodori freschi pieni di panna. 2 tordelli con ragu, ragù buono e caldo Tordelli caldi fuori freddi dentro. Nota positiva il tagliere di salumi. Comunque in 5 con 4 primi, 1 tagliere, 2 acque e 4 caffè 90€. Al momento del pagamento ovviamente non c’erano i piatti presi con il prezzo indicato ma uno strano “Menu Degustazione”che non abbiamo fatto. Quindi complessivamente esperienza da dimenticare e tutto per niente chiaro. Mai più

24/08/2024: Qualche anno fa' devo dire che si mangiava discretamente qualità/prezzo. Oramai tra l'arroganza del Proprietario, che si considera sopra ogni altro parere e giudizio e quella dei suoi camerieri, considerata la materia prima molto peggiorata,non è più consigliabile. Fidatevi e troverete in giro locali molto molto meglio e questa è la verità.

14/12/2024: Pizza all'Isolotto? da Pappa e Ciccia ci si diverte perché l'atmosfera è piacevolmente popolare e si possono assaggiare un sacco di leccornie o comprare del buon pane. La pizza è ottima, di gran lunga superiore a qualunque altro pizzaiolo al taglio, digeribilissima e condita con ingredienti di alta qualità. Stesso discorso per la superba schiacciata, croccante e unta come deve essere e farcita con salumi di ottimo livello. A seconda dei giorni, poi, si possono degustare lasagne o calzoni con il lampredotto, porchetta deliziosa, sformatini, biscotti, arancine... non ci si annoia mai, insomma. Posto piccolo, ma accogliente, con prezzi superonesti, simpatia e cortesia. Ottimo per la pausa pranzo o per l'asporto, soprattutto a pranzo.

14/12/2024: I recommend to everyone this excellent restaurant which knows how to cook both pizzas in a wood-fired oven and fish and land dishes with quality products in an excellent way. Cozy, clean environment, excellent service (fast and courteous), good food and also presented in a special way. ●● I recommend it to EVERYONE! ●●●;-)))

05/12/2024: Unfortunately, expectations did not turn out to be entirely positive. The place is nice but it seems like no one has updated the interior for quite some time. But what disappointed me most were the dishes, I don't understand how it is possible to offer an appetizer consisting of a prawn, a piece of polenta and a flan at such a high price (I prefer not to say how much out of respect for those who work there). The mixed fry was excellent which was combined with fresh fried vegetables. The caciucco was not cooked properly and was too stringy and drowned in a tomato puree that gave the impression of a commercial product. The dining room staff were prepared and friendly and looked after us in an impeccable manner. Bill a little too high for the quality offered.

10/11/2024: Good place to eat both pizza and typical local cuisine. The pizza is quite good. The main problem, however, is the slow service. We arrived to a half-empty place and in any case after placing the order we waited 50 minutes. Takeaway is probably given priority and this is not good. Nice place furnished in 70s/80s style. All in all we had a good time but the speed of service needs to be improved

11/10/2024: We have been to Maria's very often over the last few years, the service, warmth and friendliness were excellent. Her husband also cooked very, very tasty food. We were always very pampered there. Now they are both in their well-deserved retirement and the son has taken over. Absolutely unfriendly service, no friendliness, no attention. 0 points for service and ambience! When we arrived we were told to choose a table. Since we were with a dog, I wanted a corner table. That didn't work, the waitress said with a roll of her eyes that this was a table for four. So we had to sit at a narrow table for two, even though only one other table for two was occupied at 8 p.m.! The appetizer was "decorated" with brown and wilted lettuce leaves. The plate is very bland. No cutlery was brought to the main course and we shrugged our shoulders after being told. Food was OK, no comparison to before. The plates were not cleared after eating because the waitress was busy cleaning the doors. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost its beautiful ambience and has been filled with tables. Unfortunately it has become a tourist trap!

02/11/2024: It was a sad experience. The person who made the pizza probably dropped 1 dl of salt into the children's pizza. They had to go to bed hungry, and the pizza was given to the birds to eat...

15/10/2024: The quality of the raw materials is truly excellent: ancient grain flours, craft and special beers. I recommend trying the "anchovy Rock" pizza. The environment is small but welcoming; pet friendly. I recommend booking.

05/11/2024: We stayed in this place during a holiday in Siena. Small but well-kept place, excellent location, exactly next to the Basilica of Santa Caterina, away from the confusion, but a stone's throw from the centre. Pici cacio e pepe, pappardelle with wild boar, Florentine steak, all delicious. Luca and Davide, the owners, very kind, like all the staff. We will definitely be back!!!!!

24/12/2024: Difficulty in understanding where it is located, despite having arrived following the directions, there is no sign that allows you to recognize the place. Parking nearby. Friendly staff. In a very informal environment. We ordered 2 pizzas, (Diavola, Tuna and Onion) very good, cooked in a wood oven, thin dough, very digestible. Good quality/price ratio. Very clean restrooms. Advise.

18/10/2024: Starter platter very tasty, ham and salami. Spaghetti Vongole good. We advise against the calzone as it is too dry and tasteless.
