28/07/2026: One of the best pizzas I've had on my trip to Italy. Excellent flavor and reasonably priced (depending on the slice, and by Italian standards). They also had many varieties that were new to me. The ingredients were also of good quality.

22/07/2026: How could we not give 5 stars...? We came as a family to enjoy these famous and delicious Neapolitan pizzas.
This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotelier (fattoria) and we were blown away. The welcome was fantastic, with kindness and smiles... The pizzas were excellent, the desserts exceptional (the tiramisu was amazing), and the bill very reasonable.
We will be back.

09/08/2026: A very well-organized pizzeria, with fast and friendly staff. Excellent pizza. During our short wait, they brought us bread, schiacciata, and excellent extra virgin olive oil. Castellina in Chianti is a great place to spend the evening, even on the hottest days.

22/06/2026: It's worth it just for the owners, all three of them very kind and smiling. The food is good, with a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, including homemade pasta. We only stopped for a sandwich for lunch, but their friendliness and hospitality made our day! 😊

22/03/2026: We tried Pizzeria Origano in Calenzano, ordering two takeout pizzas—a Margherita with artichokes and a Quattro Formaggi—and were truly impressed!
The dough is simply among the best we've ever tasted: light, well-leavened, and highly digestible. You can immediately taste the quality, and every bite confirms the attention to detail. The ingredients are also top-notch, perfectly enhancing the final result.
Both pizzas were exceptional, tasty, and perfectly balanced in flavor.
Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Definitely a pizzeria we'll return to often—highly recommended.

The round pizza is delicious, from the dough to the quality ingredients and the many flavors to choose from, along with many beautiful and delicious desserts.
Plus, the girl at the cashier is incredibly kind, really nice and helpful—well done!!!
I'll be back to try many more flavors of pizza, both round and sliced, and various desserts!

06/05/2026: We ordered coffee outside, the waiter took our order and left, disappearing for 10 minutes. When we returned, he didn't even take our order. Then he came out again and said one of the ingredients for the caffè corretto wasn't there. I should also mention that they had a maximum of 5 other customers inside.

07/06/2026: The restaurant was a direct recommendation from our holiday apartment, and we were very impressed. We booked online and received a 20% discount on the cover charge and the meal. Even without this discount, I would recommend the restaurant, as the food was excellent and the place wasn't too crowded. Here you can experience authentic Tuscan cuisine for a fair price, and the hosts were very friendly and patient with us. We give it 5/5 stars and highly recommend it.
04/05/2026: The rooms need updating, but they're VERY clean, so the three stars are only because they need renovations. However, for the price, you can't expect more.
The restaurant is excellent.

30/07/2026: Late July 2026: everything was fine, mixed crostini and crostone with Sorana beans, larded fillet and grilled pigeon (very good, just a little undercooked inside, cooked "medium" like the fillet :-).. I'd cook it a little more... I want to give you positive and passionate advice about cooking because if I were in the area I would go back to eat it immediately, it's not easy to find pigeon for someone who loves it like me). The lard from Conca (Colonnata) is exceptional, both on the PGI crostone and in the larded fillet, you can taste a spice/aroma with a special flavor. We'll be back when we can, perhaps for Cioncia. 08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here.
This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well.
I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types!
Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.

11/05/2026: Forget all the other pizza places. If you want exceptional Italian pizza, go to this place!!! It's not touristy at all...serves local the local community. We just stumbled upon it late when night. The owner was so kind, and the service was exceptional. Simple food and chill atmosphere, with a viewable kitchen prep space. Best pizza I've ever had, hands down. I ordered the "DELIZOISA". Don't miss this spot in Firenze.
