06/01/2026: Found this restaurant by chance. Yesterday, January 5, 2026, we ate at Francesco's. We arrived at 2:30 pm, and despite the time, they welcomed us and served us with such kindness. 01/10/2025: Two of us arrived without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available. The wait was two people, one very friendly, the other less so. The drinks came quickly, and we waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer. The pizza didn't arrive until about 90 minutes after the appetizer, which we really didn't expect, and our hunger grew accordingly. The pizza unfortunately had a bit too much cheese, but overall it was okay. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long, especially since the tables next door got their food much earlier.

The sliced ​​meat, roasts, and sausages were all perfectly flavorful, as was the cooking, which isn't something every restaurant has. The roast potatoes were also very good, with a traditional flavor and seasoned with fresh herbs. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

27/12/2025: A real discovery! Every time I need pizza, I know I have to travel to the suburbs, but for this one, I'm happy to do so. Excellent pizza by the slice with a very light and digestible dough (you can taste the long leavening). The toppings are sophisticated and top-quality: special mention for the Carbonara, and the mozzarella is delicious. The staff is quick and friendly. Fair prices for the quality. I'll definitely be back.

24/11/2025: I ordered two round pizzas to take away. I went to pick them up at the agreed time, but the pizzas weren't ready. I waited 30 minutes and they were delivered cold and not even cooked enough. The dough was rubbery, and one of the two pizzas was even missing some ingredients. Terrible experience. I don't think I'll be a customer anymore.

19/01/2026: The pizza was delicious, but more importantly, the crust was light after eating it. There are several flavors to choose from, including some unusual ones. We went for dinner, and despite the cold, the outdoor seating was heated and pleasant. The prices were super fair!

13/01/2026: I've been dining at Romito for several years, going in the spring and late summer. The pizza is average. What's really worth trying, and what I'd like to highlight positively, is the Livorno-style cacciucco, a truly hearty dish made following the authentic recipe. The fish is cooked at different times and has just the right amount of broth. Tuscan bruschetta is placed on the bottom of the dish—a delight! And the hint of chili pepper gives the dish even more body. The interior could use some improvement, and the staff is often too hasty; cold, almost unfriendly, and a bit annoying. The view is certainly a great plus. You're faced with a truly evocative panorama. You just need to look up to admire a magnificent castle, the Sonnino, and the Calignaia beach below you. A corner of Tuscany that will astonish the spirit. You're welcome to bring your furry friends to the restaurant, both inside and outside. I won't comment on the hotel; I haven't had the opportunity to stay there.

04/01/2026: A restaurant in a spectacular location on the Livorno coast, with decent service and medium-high quality food (the fish and fried fish are excellent). The interior and exterior could use a refresh, but it remains more than acceptable. Prices, for what they offer, are more than reasonable.
